Hello, I liked your work very much. I was able to do many of them like you. But when I was in object mode at 4:50, I could not move the rigs separately. Therefore, I could not move the object. What exactly am I missing?

Great tutorial and I jsut finished the modleing part! Only thing I would recommend for future tutorials is to enable the screencast keys addon so that whatever u press is showed in the bottom of the corner. Overall though, awesome tutorial so far! Thank you for making it!

Btw why does my backpack still has sharp edges even after adding the subdivision modifier?
Should I have to scaled it before extruding it?
Another question would be why did you scale the helmet glass smaller before extruding it? Does it differ if you just straight up extrude it forward? Thanks btw. You have good videos hope that you use those plugin to show what you are clicking so if others get stuck they have another reference. Thank you again!

noice. just you need to do is change the glass colour to blue
if you're having a problem at 4:50 just press CTRL+TAB and that change the object mode to pose mode

when I tried to symmetrize it just duplicated my selected bones in a really weird position, sort of in front the original ones. I have no idea what is going on or how to fix it!
Probably mirrored it on the wrong axis
@@samgriffithsofficial Dude I mirrored in all directions and this doesn't help. So I just symmetrized it manually and rotating it
I m not sure but I think you need to tick 'clipping' in the mirror part

If you're not able to create symmetric bones, make sure the bones have '.l' in their names. For e.g. if you give 'upper leg' name to your bone object, blender wont make it symmetrical. But if you give 'Upper leg.l', blender will create its symmetrical object name 'Upper leg.r'

How do you attach the bones into the body so when you move the bone, the body moves with it?
Select the body first then the armature press Ctrl+p and with automatic weights

I made it but mine had a spike when i applied subdivison modifier, i fixed it and thought i was a genius but then I realized it got split in half and it was too late to reverse it. So i got a line running in the middle of it with 2 backpacks.(ps- this is mine second project in blender after the donut!)
The splitting happend because you haven't enabled merge on the mirror modifier...
