A Normal-type version of Freeze-Dry called Disbelief that's super-effective against Fairy types. The user loudly yells that it does not believe in fairies. Does special damage, and hits all other pokemon in a double battle.
Here's a move I came up with that I think is cool: Aftershock. It's normally 65 base power (and 100% accurate) but if used together or after the move "Earthquake", its power is doubled.
I’ve come up with these moves: Break Up (Normal): The user snaps out of Infatuation. This moves also cancels out the effects of Captivate and Confide. Hammer Toss (Steel): The user pulls out a hard object and tosses it at its target. This move always hits twice. Blaze of Glory (Fire): The user engulfs itself in flames and charges head first at its target for a hard hitting final attack. The user faints afterwards. Basically the Fire type version of Explosion. False Security (Dark): The user acts friendly and causes its target to let down its guard and not attack for that turn. At the start of the next turn, the user hits hard and causes the target to flinch. Can only be used on the first turn the user is in battle.
“Whiplash” a Fighting Status move that makes it so that if the target uses a physical move the next few turns they will get recoil I know it’s complex but it’s fun
Interesting note: "Poison Dart" also works on another level, as darting is a type of sudden movement (I vaguely recall it being the standard description of how dragonflies move, among other things.)
So, fun fact about the Freeze Dry thing; I did the exact same thing before Gen 6 came out. It was a signature move, sure, but I called it Scent Trap; essentially, a move for carnivorous plants, a Grass-Type biting move that was specifically super-effective against Bug and Flying-Types.
Scent Trap Physical Base DMG: 70 Accuracy: 100% PP: 20 Scent Trap deals damage and has a 20% chance of flinching the target. If used on a Flying or Bug Type, this move ignores the effectiveness of this move's type against Flying or Bug and treats it as being super effective against Flying or Bug types instead.
Hmm this can be made real but the only change would be that if it's a Pokémon who is both a flying and bug type the move would still only be 2× super effective cause idk otherwise it would be hella broken might make the grass type more of an offensive threat but still lol
Eggsplosion: As revenge for taking all the abuse, Chansey made its egg explosive, tossing it to deal 130 damage. Lowers the users accuracy by two stages. While Chansey can still perform an action in the next turn, but Eggsplosion can only be used once per battle OR there is a recharge specific to the move
I made this one up a long time ago: Heartbreaker. It’s a Dark-type move that works like Smellingsalt but it cures the target of infatuation instead of paralysis
I love the idea, like, dark-type moves are usually related to evil or darkness and breaking someone's heart would surely be evil and make them stop being infatuated
Don’t tell Heartbreaker Charles about this… (I know that he actually tries to impress girls with rotation and triple battles but I was reminded of his name ok?)
17:47 I just find this funny since for a time I thought Spirit Break was the signature move of Iron Valiant. I'd never seen the move before and was just like "Oh it makes sense they'd give an actually decent physical fairy move to a fairy type that's primarily physical and is also part fighting"
@@jeremycocciolone9223 Not necessarily. The move would be based on the concept, not the actual use of spoons. All the Pokemon needs is enough focus to bend the object with their mind.
Some more move ideas: Foreshadowing - 130 base power, 100% accuracy, dark type special attack. It acts like future sight, but it hits two to four rounds later. It goes through all protection and substitutes. Booby Trap - 65 base power, 100% accuracy, ground type physical attack. It acts as a one-use hazard that deals damage to the next pokemon that switches in. Pottery Smash - Ground type stat boosting move that increases speed by two stages, lowers the user's defense and special defense, but also creates shards that act the same as spikes hazards. I could see claydol using this. Holy Banishment - 70 base power, 95% accuracy, fairy type special attack. The catch is that this move is also super effective against ghost types. Capture Blessing - Increases the chances of a poke ball capturing a pokemon for the next three turns. Has absolutely no use competetively, but I could see amoongus or electrode using this move. Paranormal Drag - OHKO ghost type move with 30% accuracy. Animation would be a ghost hand dragging a pokemon to their literal grave. Brute Force - 100 base power, 70% accuracy, fighting type physical attack. Each time you miss this move, the base power goes up by 20. Pitch Perfect - 80 base power, 95% accuracy, normal special attack. This move always lands a critical hit. Its also sound-based.
I really like all of these ideas, very creative. I will critique some names though. 'Paranormal Drag' sounds like what a burnt-out ghostly accountant has to deal with when they wake up in the morning. I would call it "Grip of Reckoning," it sounds more sinister to me and moves with "of" in the title have a badass reputation, like Roar of Time, Light of Ruin, and Guardian of Alola. I would also rename "Brute Force" to "Daze Swing'' to indicate disorientation.
Big Brain Time: A psychic type status move that reduces half of the Pokemon’s HP and maximizes it’s special attack. (basically a special version of belly drum)
He apologizes, but there's an OHKO move called... GUILLOTINE. Yanno, the thing the French were all-too-thrilled to use on anyone rich or politically powerful.
*Half Chop* (Fighting/Physical - Varies Power/100% Acc.): The user karate chops at the target’s midsection (their waist, stomach, etc.). The taller the target, the greater the damage. (It’s just weird to me that we have multiple moves that are affected by weight, but we currently have no moves that are affected by height. So I decided to make one myself.)
Hmm. Maybe call it knee breaker? Because if they are taller they'd fall further when hit on the knee, following the logic of low kick and grass knot but for height
Mind if I steal that for my fan region? It may become a fan game in the far future, just so you know, and if I make a video series about it, I'll be sure to credit you.
iron maidens aren't actually torture devices, they where actually just metal coffins but archaeologists just thought it was neat to put the spikes laying next to it into the maiden to make a wierd torture device and people just believed it
“I want a bug move that uses webs to actually slam them into the ground since that doesn’t exist” Me pointing vigorously at the bug Z move (I still like the new one but like there is one that exists just sayin) Also love you Mikey!
Though I'm a bit late, I came up of a water type move that seems unique. **This may already be taken by someone else, but it feels like there isn't anyone coming up with a move based on chemistry.** I call it Dilute, which is an attack that is super effective to poison types, and has a chance to lower all stats, or just sp. def, which I originally came up with. As the name says, it's based on mixing chemicals with water which lowers their concentration. It is a special attack with: 95 Power 15 PP and 90% accuracy.
I’m wish there was a move called “Tsunami” that does more damage the taller the Pokémon is! Similar to Grass Knot, but for height instead of weight (and it’s a water movie, obviously).
Fun fact: Greninja creates his signature move “Water Shurikens” by making a water pulse, then hitting the shuriken shapes on his legs, kind like a mold.
19:16 - I think here you could have made a Poison type move that could cause a burn, like “Corrosive Acid”. Or an Ice type that causes a burn, like “Frostbite”. Or a Steel/Bug type that causes poison, like “Stinger” or something. Or even a Psychic move that could paralyze, like “Psych Out”.
@@suma109 actually Scald was nerfed to being one of Volcanion's signature moves. No other Pokemon can learn it in S/V until the Scald TM got readded in the Teal Mask DLC
i’ve made a few pokemon moves over the years, so i thought i’d share. Fireworks - Fairy. 85 damage, 10pp, 100acc, physical. The user sends exploding, brightly colored fireworks at the target. The target may be left with a burn. (we need more physical fairy moves, and the impact would be more akin to explosion than flamethrower.) Steam Out - Fire. 20pp, status. The user lets out hot steam to calm its rage, dramatically raising sp. attack while harshly lowering attack. (edit: my thought was that the increase could be based on the atk of the pokemon, or it could be changed to def or speed for something, but i have no idea how that would work, i dont know much about competitive balancing other than basic logic.) Flurry - Ice. 20pp, status. The user sends out a flurry of snow to coat the ground for 5 turns. If an ice type pokemon is on the field, their speed and attack are increased. any other type has their speed decreased. Blacksmith - Steel. 15pp, status. The user heats their body to reinforce themself, sharply increasing attack after one turn of rest. before their attack is increased, their defense is lowered, but will return to normal the same time their attack is increased. obviously these moves wouldnt be available to every pokemon, already powerful pokemon wouldnt need steam out or blacksmith, this would be to help weaker pokemon and at least make them viable.
While I agree there's a need for more physical fairy moves, I don't think Fireworks can justifiably be physical. I mean, it's literally firing something at the target in a similar manner to thunderbolt or flamethrower. "Physical" implies some degree of direct physical contact between the user and the target.
I think Talonflame should have an amped up version of brave bird, considering it’s a fire type. I would call it Phoenix dive or something, just making brave bird more fiery
@@123abc50216 maybe even make it do 4x damage to the shared weaknesses. For example, grass and bug type Pokémon would take 4x damage as if they were weak to both types. It would OBLITERATE Pokémon like Leavanny, but would still be hard to REALLY utilize since it’s on Talonflame😅
I think a good name for the overheat electric variant would be Amp Out, it sounds like they are letting out all of their energy in a huge wave, therefore reducing further attack’s power. Or making them rest a turn from fatigue
Quicksand should be a variation of Curse. The user loses 50% of its HP so its sand go directly to the target, that would lose 25% of its HP per turn and then (die) faint, like in real life quicksand. It could only be learned by Ground Type Pokémon
@@tyranttracergaming It woudn't be a priority move. I had already thought in a Ground-Type move called Quicksand based on Curse before seeing Mike's video today, but his idea was different from mine
I'll sound a bit nerdy, but I think there should be an attack inspired by Ultraman, a famous sci-fi Japan hero. It would be another Special Fighting move that plenty of Pokémon can learn, because it's inspired by the widespread Ultra Beam that almost every Ultra has. I'd call it Focus Beam (don't worry, it's not like Focus Blast). It'll be either 95% or 100% accurate, depends on what you think is fair. Now some would think, "of course 100%, why 95%?". That's because it will have a gimmick. Usually a normal Focus Beam will be a + shape beam, so it would have a base power of 70. However, it has a 10% chance of becoming and L shape attack, that will be a base *140* power attack. The only way to increase the L shape attack chance is by using Inner Focus. But it can only be used at a maximum of 2 times and will increase into a 35%/50% chance of getting it. (Actually maybe it should be 100% accurate)
i have a variation of this every 3/4 attacks, it does the stronger attack but if you miss, flinch, or use another move, the cool-down will reset back to 3/4
The question is why ultraman why not the most popular toku hero in japan Kamen rider with unleashed kick fighting type 100% accurate with 70 damage with a 50% chance of performing a finishing kick with 150 damage if super efficient or it’s stats are lowered.
@@chaosenforcerdhm969 and here's the thing. My made up move Focus Beam has a reasonable gimmick of sacrificing turns for a higher chance for higher damage. 50% chance for a huge kick with no drawbacks seems a bit much.
20:53 There is a move kinda like that: the Bug type Z-Move Savage Spin-Out. The user shoots a bunch of web strings at the opponent and encases them in a cocoon, swings them around and slams then into the ground, then slices them out of the cocoon.
It’s an ability not a move, but i call it “hot steel”. It’s a signature ability that gives steel type, physical moves a chance to inflict a burn while there is harsh sunlight. Also inspired by hot seatbelt buckles.
I came up with a move called Acid Rain. It is like hail, but it also heals poison types, pretty much putting a black sludge effect in place. Also the after turn damage doubles on a steel type since acids can break down metal
Since most of the ghost moves are PHYSICAL, I decided to give the Special ghost types something too. Another Hyper Beam. Soul Shader. The user strikes directly at the opponent soul with a ton of shadow energy. The user must recharge on the next turn.
I feel like that would be physical too though because a ton of energy in one giant beam is literally Hyper Beam. And sure it reaches the opponent's soul but wouldn't it need to get through all of the layers of skin and all of the organs first in order to do so? And its a direct hit. Not trying to offend at all, I'm cool with it being special if thats what you think, its your move, but too me it sounds quite physical.
i have a reexplanation for it Soul Shader Ghost Pwr: 150 Acc: 100 The user attempts to drown the opponent in the void by dragging its soul downwards in immense rage. The user has to recharge the next turn to calm down. what do you think?
Mikey: "I think there should be a damaging bug type attack inspired by spiderman, where the pokemon shoots out a web string, attaches it to the target and then whips them around and slams them into the ground" Savage Spin-Out: Am I a joke to you?
Sylveon: "Fairy already has a priority move. It's called Quick Attack." Comfey: "No, that's not a Fairy-type move. Are you thinking of Draining Kiss?" Regirock: "UN UN UN UN UN UN"
When you talked about Web Sling, I was so disappointed that you just gave it a base power. My thought was that it acted as a reverse Low Kick/Grass Knot, where the lighter the target, the more damage it did. There isn't a single move that acts like that, as Heat Crash/Heavy Slam takes the user's weight into consideration as well, while Web Swing just focused on the opponent's. Pokedex entry; The user attaches a line to throw the opponent. does more damage the lighter the target.
Yeah it's really weird theres all these ways to make your pokemon heavier, but the only way to capitalize on it is heavy slam and basically nothing else
I’ve always wanted to see more never miss moves, such as shock wave and aerial ace. I always felt there should be another one called tidal wave. Water and special move, basically a giant unavoidable wave hits the opponent.
I thought of a fairy physical move as well: Fairy Fury - 120 power Lowers def and spdef by 1 Basically a Fairy close combat A pokemon uses small little fairies to attack the opponent, similarly to attack order.
I made new entry hazards a while ago Hot coals: when the opponent enters they get burnt Puddle: when the opponent switches in, there’s a 50% chance they slip (same effect as low kick, but obv much weaker and can’t be super effective) Ice sheet: same as puddle but a 100% chance of slipping,
Have some more ideas: Dragon teeth: Some teeth are scattered onto the ground (sounds painful, and also gross, but let's just pretend dragons have regenerating teeth like sharks and crocodiles, mkay?). Not only do they damage the opponent, but the teeth also clamp down on them too, making them unable escape, unless they have an ability that can allow them to escape. (Can also be cleared out through rapid spin, and the one move that clears up entry hazards. It can also be sidestepped by just being a dragon type, using dragon type moves, or having heavy-duty-boots on.) Zap Mine: The next Pokemon to swap in takes a good amount of damage, and is also paralyzed. It's like a real mine! Having the ability damp can prevent it from exploding, and using an explosive move can also trigger the mine automatically for less damage and little to no risk of paralysis. Oh, it's a one time entry hazard, but it can be stacked. Simple trap: It's like simple beam, but it's an entry hazard.
@@squidbro6635 In fact, it is the opposite since the frictional coefficient of steel over ice is almost null, which means that the floor doesn't brake you when you move
I came up with a Dark type move when looking back at my fan-region, and realizing I forgot to make new moves for the Dark type. I always laugh whenever I imagine a Pokémon using it. The move is called Distraction. It would be a +2 priority move. The user throws their held item at the target to make a quick getaway. The target flinches, and the user switches out. Damage depends on the item thrown. It's basically a Dark type U-turn that goes first, with guaranteed flinch, but the user loses their held item. It's just so funny thinking that in the middle of the battle, in desperation, your opponent just throws their item at you to make a getaway.
Here are some moves I made: Meteor Burn:If A Pokémon is about to use Giga Impact or Body Slam or is about to land on the user using Fly then the user stops them by blocking the three attacks, and giving them a Burn and making them lose 2 stages of Attack. Pop:Basically Self Destruct but paralyses target for exactly 2 turns after user faints due to it. Dance:Confuses the target and decreases all their stats except HP and Speed. Accurate Shot:Multi hit Move that never misses, each hit has 15 power and can hit upto 5 times. And your move is a mix of Fling and U turn and maybe Fake out?
Freezing Point (Ice): The user chills the air around the target just enough to turn all of its Water Type Moves into Ice Type Moves. Melting Point (Fire): The user heats the air around the foe to turn its Ice Type Moves into Water Type Moves. Boiling Point (Fire): The user heats the air enough to evaporate water generated by its foe to turn its Water Type Moves into Flying Type Moves.
I honestly think there should be more moves like acrobatics as well where the power doubles if the Pokemon isn't holding an item if every type had that it'd be so cool
I think a cool alternative to Forge Blade could be taking that hot steel concept and turning it into an ability where the pokemon with the ability in sunlight has a high chance to burn on any of its steel moves. Super niche? Maybe. But it’s still a cool idea.
Concussive force could be kinda like psyshock, where it uses a different stat than usual. While it's a special move, that would do special damage, it could go off the physical attack stat, because the moves description is that it's a punching force, which could deal special damage while using physical attack. This could be cool because most Fighting-types are physical, so they can use that to their advantage while fighting Pokémon with high defence.
@@mtverv isnt focus blast more the chi-blast? aura sphere being specifically an aura attack, and the chi-blast could a variation that deals physical damage, like psyshock to psychic, because the whole point was to have an extra special fighting move, as there are so few, and chi-blasts are basicly special fighting moves
I thought about the move Pesticide, a poison type special attack which can deal super effective damage bugs, while raising the defense and special defense of grass types.
Sounds interesting. A few questions : With or without dealing damage to Grass-types ? Can you use it on yourself ? Don't you think it should only raise special defense ? Having been sprayed with pesticide is not going to save you from a punch in the face (if you have one).
I remember I had an electric type Pokémon called “haywire” and it’s signature move was “gigabolt” which was super affective against all types week to electric and ground type since it was so powerful it would explode the ground, but since it explodes the ground it makes it do nothing against flying types. Win some and lose some. Haywire was op but didn’t have any HP or defense so it was a glass cannon

Contagious Smog is a poison type status move that covers the user in smog for 5 turns. If the user is hit by a physical move, the attacker is poisoned and the user takes 10% less damage.
I got some moves: 1Draconic Destruction a physical dragon-type move that lowers the enemy's defense 2Flinch Pinch a dark-type Fake Out 3Fairy Lights a status fairy-type move that confuses the foe 4Burning Blade a physical steel-type move that is super-effective on grass type(yes I know that Mikey had made the move weed Wacker that is basically the same... But this would be stronger and would have a chance to burn the opponent.) I can't come up with more moves but if I think of more I'll write it later.
There are no moves that just inflict freeze, but there are a few for the other status conditions. I came up with one for the Tangela regional evolution, Tangorgon, called Petrifying Gaze. A Rock-Type move with low accuracy that can Freeze.
Water pressure destroys people too. Which means it could be good against normal type. But that defeats the purpose of normal having no weaknesses but one. But water pressure can rend a person in half... Oops I said it
9:03 fun fact: bees kill invading wasps by surrounding them and flapping their wings until it dies of heat, so maybe this move could be super effective or neutral to fire types as well
Phantom Grasp is a really interesting move, I imagine it could not only trap the opponent, but also decrease their evasion, as ghostly hands surface from the ground below, clutching their legs.
Sunshine Shot (Fire): The user rushes forward for a blazing attack. This move may flinch the target. Under Harsh Sunlight, this move may also burn the target. Signature move of Solrock. Moonlight Beam (Psychic): The user gathers energy from the moon and launches it at the target. This move may flinch the target. Under a Full Moon (new weather), this move may also confuse the target. Signature move of Lunatone. Finishing Blow (Dark): The user attacks the foe's weak spot and preforms a final, killing blow. Can only be used if the attack would faint the target this turn.
Shadow Burst (Ghost): The user causes the target's shadow to explode. This makes the opponent weaker to ghost type moves. Signature move of Gengar. Psyswap (Psychic) The user hits the target with a blast of psychic energy. This swaps the target's defense and special defense. Signature move of Alakazam Fury Fists (Fighting) The user barrages the target by throwing a thousand punches. This boosts speed. Signature move of Machamp.
Another move: Bleed Weed- Physical- 80 power- Description: The user attacks with a large weed and slams it on the target: This has a chance of causing the Bleed status condition, Similar to the Badly Poisoned status, Its kinda the opposite, it starts off big and goes down the more turns that pass
I have a move that I made to be a signature move for Seismitoad: Tremor Punch. Ground type physical move. The user vibrates the bumps on its arm and delivers a massive blow to the opponent that harshly lowers their evasion (because they would lose their balance due to the vibrations)
Exeption:the side effect of moves are removed so you cant get debuffed or lose typing with a move but you cant get stat buffs flinch or burn poison or par with a move
Quicksand feels far from something like a priority move. It could be like eletroweb that does damage and lowers the targets speed, does damage over time like infestation or arena traps like mean look but definitely not a priority move
I’d like to just take a moment to appreciate the editing and special effects of this video . . . Thank you to Mikey’s editor for all your hard work! It wouldn’t be the same without you :)

Personally I think that freeze-dry is a type of move that works because ice is sorta bad type. Making other moves that do the same thing on stronger types could be dangerous

Eggsplosion: As revenge for taking all the abuse, Chansey made its egg explosive, tossing it to deal 130 damage. Lowers the users accuracy by two stages. Some more move ideas:
Foreshadowing - 130 base power, 100% accuracy, dark type special attack.

As the name says, it's based on mixing chemicals with water which lowers their concentration.
It is a special attack with:

15 PP

19:16 - I think here you could have made a Poison type move that could cause a burn, like “Corrosive Acid”. Or an Ice type that causes a burn, like “Frostbite”.
Or a Steel/Bug type that causes poison, like “Stinger” or something.
Or even a Psychic move that could paralyze, like “Psych Out”.
Is’t why they removed scald from basically every Pokémon
@@suma109 actually Scald was nerfed to being one of Volcanion's signature moves. No other Pokemon can learn it in S/V until the Scald TM got readded in the Teal Mask DLC
Stinger feels oddly similar to twineedle. A (potential) bug move that can cause poison.
The Steel one could be Tetanus Shot, actually... Make a steel "Paralyze" that lowers speed
i’ve made a few pokemon moves over the years, so i thought i’d share.
Fireworks - Fairy. 85 damage, 10pp, 100acc, physical. The user sends exploding, brightly colored fireworks at the target. The target may be left with a burn. (we need more physical fairy moves, and the impact would be more akin to explosion than flamethrower.)
Steam Out - Fire. 20pp, status. The user lets out hot steam to calm its rage, dramatically raising sp. attack while harshly lowering attack. (edit: my thought was that the increase could be based on the atk of the pokemon, or it could be changed to def or speed for something, but i have no idea how that would work, i dont know much about competitive balancing other than basic logic.)
Flurry - Ice.
Can we use these for fangames? I’m trying to work on one and I’m a little bit stuck in the new moves department
Firework should be fire
Steam out would be overpowered in competetive
While I agree there's a need for more physical fairy moves, I don't think Fireworks can justifiably be physical. I mean, it's literally firing something at the target in a similar manner to thunderbolt or flamethrower. "Physical" implies some degree of direct physical contact between the user and the target.
Pokèmon Variation anyone?

(Actually maybe it should be 100% accurate)
i have a variation of this
every 3/4 attacks, it does the stronger attack
but if you miss, flinch, or use another move, the cool-down will reset back to 3/4
The question is why ultraman why not the most popular toku hero in japan Kamen rider with unleashed kick fighting type 100% accurate with 70 damage with a 50% chance of performing a finishing kick with 150 damage if super efficient or it’s stats are lowered.

There isn't a single move that acts like that, as Heat Crash/Heavy Slam takes the user's weight into consideration as well, while Web Swing just focused on the opponent's.

I made new entry hazards a while ago
Hot coals: when the opponent enters they get burnt
Puddle: when the opponent switches in, there’s a 50% chance they slip (same effect as low kick, but obv much weaker and can’t be super effective)
Ice sheet: same as puddle but a 100% chance of slipping,
For Ice sheet, flying, ice and possibly steel types have a lowered chance of "slipping"
Have some more ideas:
Dragon teeth: Some teeth are scattered onto the ground (sounds painful, and also gross, but let's just pretend dragons have regenerating teeth like sharks and crocodiles, mkay?). Not only do they damage the opponent, but the teeth also clamp down on them too, making them unable escape, unless they have an ability that can allow them to escape. (Can also be cleared out through rapid spin, and the one move that clears up entry hazards. It can also be sidestepped by just being a dragon type, using dragon type moves, or having heavy-duty-boots on.)
Zap Mine: The next Pokemon to swap in takes a good amount of damage, and is also paralyzed.

Contagious Smog is a poison type status move that covers the user in smog for 5 turns. If the user is hit by a physical move, the attacker is poisoned and the user takes 10% less damage.
ua-cam.com/video/47XDbaVposY/v-deo.html
Snap trap is a grass type move because when gen 4 remakes come out they can give the move to carnivine for STAB
Do you think anyone will use that
@@ricktam2841 I actual used carnivine on my team during my original play through so yes i do think some people will use it
@@traerock7126
Leaf blade is much more useful
And I am not talking about carnivine I am talking about snap trap
I got some moves:
1Draconic Destruction a physical dragon-type move that lowers the enemy's defense
2Flinch Pinch a dark-type Fake Out
3Fairy Lights a status fairy-type move that confuses the foe
4Burning Blade a physical steel-type move that is super-effective on grass type(yes I know that Mikey had made the move weed Wacker that is basically the same... But this would be stronger and would have a chance to burn the opponent.)
I can't come up with more moves but if I think of more I'll write it later.
Cool
There are no moves that just inflict freeze, but there are a few for the other status conditions. I came up with one for the Tangela regional evolution, Tangorgon, called Petrifying Gaze. A Rock-Type move with low accuracy that can Freeze.
Here’s a move pressure cannon: a water move super effective against steel types
~~signature move of blastoise~~
Water pressure destroys people too. Which means it could be good against normal type. But that defeats the purpose of normal having no weaknesses but one. But water pressure can rend a person in half... Oops I said it
@@nerdydogwoof4580 Bruh normal is weak to fighting
And psychic
@@gymleaderhasan I meant to say one weakness 😂 What I meant was it is super effective against nothing and had only one weakness.
You know how Flying Press has two types at once? I think it would be neat if we had more moves like that.
Yeah I want to see a fire and flying one so we can have grass bug types take 8x damage from ut
@Manga Merchant then use it on parasect
@@mangamerchant9002 that's not how flying press works, it just does whichever one does more damage and can't hit ghost types
@@egon3705 that’s lame I like my version better
I came up with one that's Rock and Fire called Magma Stone
Making more moves that usually aren't super effective against their usual types is going to explode my mind in vgc
Chansey: why are we still here... JUST TO SUFFER
He should have chosen miltank to bully with all the new moves
How did Chansey get hit by Haunted Hammwr though
Sunshine Shot (Fire): The user rushes forward for a blazing attack. This move may flinch the target. Under Harsh Sunlight, this move may also burn the target. Signature move of Solrock.
Moonlight Beam (Psychic): The user gathers energy from the moon and launches it at the target. This move may flinch the target. Under a Full Moon (new weather), this move may also confuse the target. Signature move of Lunatone.
Finishing Blow (Dark): The user attacks the foe's weak spot and preforms a final, killing blow. Can only be used if the attack would faint the target this turn.
wow good job at making those
Why just Solrock and Lunatone? That would be wasted on just them.
@@Nosretep I suppose. But I just wanted to give them something unique.
Shadow Burst (Ghost): The user causes the target's shadow to explode. This makes the opponent weaker to ghost type moves. Signature move of Gengar.
Psyswap (Psychic) The user hits the target with a blast of psychic energy. This swaps the target's defense and special defense. Signature move of Alakazam
Fury Fists (Fighting) The user barrages the target by throwing a thousand punches.
I have a move that I made to be a signature move for Seismitoad:
Tremor Punch. Ground type physical move. The user vibrates the bumps on its arm and delivers a massive blow to the opponent that harshly lowers their evasion (because they would lose their balance due to the vibrations)
Sorry to say, seismitoad has a signature move
@@accuratedeaths I'm pretty sure it doesn't, which move do you mean?

+5 priority, 10000 damage, all pokemon on the field become castform
You need to specify,
It must be hail form

Omg why
Wouldn’t that mean you are knocking out at most 3 other castforms?
Won't all Pokemon be killed before?

Mikey: “confused” always does a critical hit
Me watching in 2023: but wait, there’s more. (The more being “flower trick”)
Quicksand feels far from something like a priority move. It could be like eletroweb that does damage and lowers the targets speed, does damage over time like infestation or arena traps like mean look but definitely not a priority move
But it’s sand that’s quick!
shouldve called it Pocket Sand
Mud Shot and Sand Tomb exist
@@AacroX and Bulldoze
all jokes and memes aside - *_Brain Blast would be a HELLA dope move!_*
Brain Blast could be a Mind Blown clone: doing super-strong damage, at the cost of losing half of your maximum HP.
it would be like Blast Burn and Frenzy Plant but for psychic types
Looks like mikey changed the thumbnail
Yea I noticed that too
Break up, a Pokémon move that will one shot any Pokémon that’s infatuated
That's genius, honestly.

We need better bug moves, so I made 5!! Wow that's a lot..
Move 1: *Insect Rush.* The user rushes at the target with intense power, slamming into the target for great damage.
Physical
Power: 100
Type: Bug
Base PP: 10
Accuracy: 100%
Perks: 10% flinch chance
Move 2:
*Multi-limbed Attack:* the user uses all of their limbs to rapidly strike the target multiple times.
Physical
Power: 25
Type: Bug
Base PP: 20
Accuracy 100%
Perks: hits 2-5 times in one turn
Moves 3: *Fluttering Torrent.* The user rapidly beats their wings to attack the user with huge gusts of wind, but tires the user. Factors BUG and FLYING type weaknesses.
Special
Power: 145
Type: Bug/Flying
Base PP: 5
Accuracy: 100%
Perks: user has 50% chance to fall Asleep, 50% chance to recharge next turn. factors BUG and FLYING type weakness.*(because of this factor, grass types are 4x weak to this move.)*
Move 4: *Silk Strike.* The user generates a silky material, and attacks the user, but uses the material to protect themselves if they miss
Physical
Power: 95
Type: Bug
Base PP: 15
Accuracy: 75%
Perks: if this move misses, the user raises their Defense and Special Defense by 1.
Move 5: *Shed Skin.* The user sheds their top layer of skin, sacrificing their defensive capabilities for more offensive power.
Status
Type: Bug
Power: N/A
Base PP: 35
Accuracy: N/A
Perks: lowers Defense by 1, and increases Attack by 1.5, and Speed by 2.
These were really fun to make, and I hope people like them!!
Edit: Grammer, and forgot part of *Fluttering Torrent*
Shed Skin is already an ability
hey Mikey web sling should actually be like grass knot where the targets weight calculates the damage
ua-cam.com/video/47XDbaVposY/v-deo.html
it could be the exact opposite of what u just said
the more heavier the foe the more force u need to apply, and the less it will become attached to the web
and lighter ones can easily be lifted and slammed into the ground or wall
@@hafsspanishmaster spam
@@vishwak09 yea
@@vishwak09 I think you’re forgetting that something w more mass keeps momentum easier, and it would fall w much more force. Ofc it would take much more force to get it going, but it’s Pokémon so I think we can assume that these extraordinary creatures can pull that off
Edit: no I did not intend on starting an argument
Yo-Yo: A priority fighting or normal type move that causes the user retreat, like U-turn. I’m a massive fan of Agents of Shield and that’s the nickname of one of the characters and her power is Super Speed but she’ll always bounce back to where she started.
That's the most broken move not designed to be broken that I've ever heard.
@@josephhanicak7922 yeah
I would use that
@@What_are_you_doing. You’ll keep on yo-ing
@@josephhanicak7922 Tbh it would actually be pretty bad. In most competitive applications, when using u-turn/volt switch, you actually want to be outsped so the pokemon with it (which is typically bulky) tanks the hit and you get a safe switch. A switching move with priority would have the same drawbacks as just switching out normally.
Personally I think that freeze-dry is a type of move that works because ice is sorta bad type. Making other moves that do the same thing on stronger types could be dangerous
HoW DaRe yOU
It's bad at defense. Offensively, it's quite good.
@@Luigifan18 Yes, which is why freeze dry works. Only ice types get it and it makes their good offense better, if, say, fairy types got a move that hit steel types supereffectively then we'd have a problem
@@luckytrap897 I think a Fairy-type move that hits Poison-types super-effectively would make more thematic sense. We already have "anti-poison" Fairy-types like Galarian Rapidash.
@@Luigifan18 Thematic? Yes. Balanced? No
For the move I made, It is called dragon tusk, and is the signature move of haxorus. It is base 140 attacks 95% accuracy, and requires recharge after usage
I can’t believe there wasn’t already a “Whiteout” as either a move or ability.
I feel like Cloud Cover could also be a weather move, where it causes overcast skies over the battlefield, making it rain on the following turn and/or making the move Thunder 100% accurate.
I got one. A move called Ta-ta! Dark type status and pivoting move that steals opponent’s item and lowers opponent’s defense or special defense, depending which one is higher.
TATA!
Grunty Boi's favorite move
Wait a second.
Ta-ta and steals item. This sounds like a move that Grunty Boi would use xD
Yup, sounds like Grunty Boi's signature move
Only downside is that it's the signature move of one Grunty Boi
Stretch: a move that gives a 1 stage boost in all stats besides evasion but takes two turns to charge
A move that can be learned by all flying types and all ground types:
High ground, a ground type instant K.O 100 base accuracy move.
It’s description would read:
The users gets the high ground, and as soon as the opponent tries it, it’s over
It's over groudon I have used the Hugh ground
pretty OP but regardless still cool (also I see what'cha did there)
I feel like there shouldve been a dragon type move named "Bad Ending" which would be good against fairies
Edit: changed the name cuz you didnt like it and bc someone said bad ending was better
ua-cam.com/video/47XDbaVposY/v-deo.html
It should work as a as a status move that makes the next fairy type attack deal damage to itself
Yooo I LOVE that!!!
As a Hydreigon fan, I approve of this move
Noice
A pokemon move I came up with is Molavatov (a play on words of molotov). It would be a fire-type move with 5 pp, 40 base power and 90% accuracy. It's basically just a really weak flamethrower, but with a 25% chance to take out a chunk of every other pokemon's health equal to that of half of your pokemon's remaining health, but doing 50 damage back to you afterwards.
Him: New Pokémon moves that aren’t in games.
My brain: Everyone explode now!
No no, he's got a point
what
What about “Moo Moo Squeeze”
Tender tentacles
That would be absolutely AWFUL for shiny hunting
