Why not a video for an update team for each gym leader? Every gym leaders get's acces to all the pokemon of the speaclized typing updated aces can't be replicated ( unless necessary), gym leader's teams still consist with at least 1 pokemon of their gen. Maybe making it a more part video for each region? Plus, their full team for rematches? Having acces to pokemon who counter their weaknesses would make gym leaders a real force to reckoned with. Might be even good to increase the min pokemon they use to 3? E4 members could be a seperate video where they could even use pokemon who are aces of gymleaders, but aren't their aces.

I'm actually not a fan of needing the ace to terastalize to match the type, just because any future generation appearances of those Leaders won't be able to use them anymore. Generational gimmicks don't carry over anymore, which means, other than Larry, none of the gen 9 Gym Leaders will be able to keep their aces outside of Scarlet and Violet.

You are reading my mind with all these Pokémon switches Also, the Gardevoir and Gallade idea was something I’ve always wanted in a Pokémon game. It’s like they are made to do that!
In Pokemon Reborn, there's a Psychic Leader using both Gardevoir and Gallade in Double Battle, but there's one tiny problem Gallade is lead Pokemon, and Gardevoir is his ace (that difference matters, since he - and every other Gym Leader in Reborn Region - uses 6 Pokemon)
I think that giving the three Galar gym leaders starters would be great; the whole purpose of them is to emulate the starter trio to give you one bad matchup and one good one
It's not in Unova, but Roxie's signature should really be Toxtricity. Her whole theme is being a punk guitarist, and Toxtricity is a poison type designed after guitarists.
15:26, tbh, its kinda good even for Manectric to be his ace since Magneton/Mite and voltorb is like 2x weak to ground, Manectric is 2x weak to ground. Yes, but, Manectric can Mega evolve also, having also to have lightning rod and is a special attacker with speed
Saying "His new ace should be Galarian Weezing, because he's toxic" about Bede is actually kinda funny, bc the sword pokedex says that it absorbs toxic chemicals and _releases clean air_ , which is actually pretty fitting for his semi-redemption arc (i say arc, its barely anything. i wish he had more of a personality, i love Bede)

I feel like there should have been an exception where gym leaders who are natives from outside regions can have an ace from their home land. Kabu- for example- could have blaziken as an ace, or perhaps camerupt. Both are very strong Pokemon, and he could be slightly biased against using G-max since he’s not a Galatians native, kinda like how Piers is biased against dynamax in general because it took the attention away from his town.
blissey wouldn't be very hard to deal with, she has an early gym so a special wall wouldn't really be an issue as you're probably still using mostly physical attacks, even on special attackers because they won't have learned enough special moves to delete the physical ones for.
mandjtv: "misty is the second gym and i will give her a garados even thought its a bit strong" also him: "i cant give him scizzor its too difficult to fight at the second gym" Misty: "laugh in evil"
I would give Juan Huntail. Sure it isn't as graceful, but it would be a good counterpart to Wallace and his Gorebyss (assuming all these revamped aces would share the same canon)
I had a brilliant idea when you went over Lenora, suggesting Sawsbuck is a good idea, then depending on your season it has a different appearance when battling her, heck maybe a different move set too.
You know.. I think you should really do a "New Ace for Champions" video. That or a 'What if Champions were Gym Leaders/Elite Four Members" video. It would be pretty cool to see that.
I thought of what type they would use if they were a gym leader Lance / dragon type specialist Steven/ steel type specialist Wallace / water type specialist Cynthia / dragon type specialist Alder / bug type specialist Iris / dragon type specialist Diantha / fairy type specialist Leon / fire type specialist
@@Mimi-San721 In all seriousness, I agree with nearly all of them. The one I'm iffy on is Cynthia since she has a totally Type diverse Team(and is actuslly one of the omly Champions with a diverse Team where it doesn't seemingly specialize in any Type), it's pretty hard to choose a Type Specialty. I think this video would be AMAZING now that we have Terastalizing. Giving a gym leader an ace with the ability to make it their ace type could be sick. Using a similar line of thinking as Jasmine would be cool, like giving Clair Tyranitar and having it tera into a dragon.
