    You rule. lol 🥳💚🍄 I just did my first grain to grain transfer into jars I made with your millet tek! thank you by the way! It’s day three and it’s already colonizing. Agar is next on my list to practice. Most humans I know look confused and their eyes glaze over and say that sounds sciency when I start talking about this so I’m babbling to you.     For a 1L batch I take a 1tsp (3g) of soy meal and 1tsp (2g) of yeast nutrient (aka dead yeast) and simmer for 10 min. Filter through a coffee filter (#4 pour-over cone) then add malt extract (20g) and agar (20g). Then sterilize etc. etc.
    I use soy meal as the primary nitrogen source in my blocks. This lets me know the mycelium growing strongest on agar will be the correct selection for bulk.
    Favorite new toy is a Sous Vide set up so I can hold the sterilized Agar at 125° before pouring. That way I don’t have to rush to pour at exactly the right temperature.
    Edit: added weight of soy and yeast nutrients
