Rookie Mycologist mentioned to come see your site. I'm so glad. I did! Your video is brilliant! can hardly wait to watch the others.
YES! Thank you SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much for breaking down the bag sizes and filter options as well as what you use and why you use them. Mush love to you folks!
You have a real flair for teaching!
Dude thanks , seriously
Knowledgeable and digestible. The best hands down.
Your sooooo Amazing !!!
Brilliant!
Love your videos dude 🙏
Can you tell us more about the fruiting block substrate? What's in it? We would love to understand the vegan mix.
Bravo!! Amazing content
How much longer are your colonization times with the smaller filters vs the point 5 microns?
Could you cut the hole for air and then cover with micron paper tape?
OMG!! That smell, when you open a fully inoculated jar of grain spawn.... thats intoxicatingly mushroomy.
Finally, information that nobody else on UA-cam thought to offer.
Many thanks brother.
Have you checked out rookie mycologist, 90 sec,or Golden Philly teacher..
@@chicofromph33nix64 Yeah, I watch their stuff too. Lots of good info there as well.
@@chicofromph33nix64the rookie guy who raid about ph levels? It’s a chore to watch that guy.
How is 5 lbs of substrate and 1.5 lbs of grain a 2 to 1 ratio?
The square cube law
My interest peaked tenfold at the mention of vegan substrate. I've been growing on coir but was curious about more nutritious substrates not made from animals. Where can i grab this?
So when i break and shake its best to get all the air out until ready to fruit?
Do you have any bag suggestions that are a good mix of substrate and grain that are already pressure cooked?
So we dont have to spray it? The instructions that came with mine said 2-3 times a day... i feel thats way to much..... also is it normal for moisture in the bag after break and shake...?
Why don't the Filter patches have a Seal that keeps it closed until colonisation has begun?
Where can I find these
Thanks for the technology, the rubber band was really a genius insight, But what about the substrate mixture? Can you teach us that?
Coco coir, vermiculite and gypsum.
Do i need to wrap with sum to keep side pins out
So 6 hours in a steamer barrel is enough to sterilize substrate?
depends on the amount and type of substrate you use. there are some good graphs online for substrate sterilization times
Which unicorn bag is the one holding your test grains?
3T
Could you use pasteurized substrate ?
probably but you'd have a higher contamination rate than if you had fully sterilized
so do these still work in Canada since they no longer allow single use plastic?
Get biodegradable bags
I dub thee....THE NECK BEARD KING!!!
Most confusing and drawn out video I’ve seen. Shorten it up bro.
It’s really not confusing. He just has a very detailed way of explaining things. I have a manager like him. I love meeting with him because the meetings are interesting and take a long time
I thought I was the only one. Holy shit, this could have taken 4 minutes... (or less to be honest). I appreciate the knowledge though.
He's giving you completely free information and you're complaining like an entitled whiny child.
Don't be intellectually lazy-- try learning why and how something works instead of just demanding something now now now now now.
I didn't mix my substrate with the CVG and the bottom hasn't colonised will I still be able to get fruits
