    Hey man. Just found your channel. I am a scotch drinker and every time I try bourbons I found that of putting licorice note. Dunno if it is coming from the rye or the barrel, cuz I can find it with some wheated ones too... Any ways, since in one of your videos you mentioned you didn't like that note, would you have a recommendation of an American whiskey or bourbon that is anice/licorice"free"?

      Absolutely! I've don't recall experiencing that rather off-putting note with any products from Wild Turkey (except 1 Russell's single barrel), Old Forester, or Elijah Craig. I feel like it shows up more in younger products.
      But it very common in rye as you mentioned. What wheated bourbon did you try that you picked up that taste?

      @@TheBarleyLads Makers 46. I've found that note in ER10 and Basil Hayden... The exceptions EH Taylor and Weller's
