I rescued a dog who was in horrific condition. I had to take him to a Vet yesterday, to run test, see if he needed to he euthanized, etc. Office visit was $32.00, the bill came to $386.00. The Vet prescribed the dog 6 meds, after looking them up, he didn't need 4 of them, just the ear antibiotics and dewormer. They knew i rescued him, so money was tight. 2 of the drugs side effects was brutal. Pure greed and evil.

Took us 3 years to solve our dogs allergy problems!! We started giving our dog quercetin also. Benadryl caused vomiting. Giving caprylic acid to kill yeast. Washed paws in iodine diluted in water to look like tea to kill yeast also. Antifungal shampoo from vet helped after one wash. Also stopped all kibble & are feeding raw dogfood. Food allergies to kibble, chicken, rice & grain created yeast in the body. Also giving Omega Probiotic for dogs helps. Costco kibble started the problem

Food that was delivered at home and not expensive. In 2019 I moved to the US and could not find that brand so I had to go with american kibbles and since they both have health problems. I have seen vets, got prescription kibbles nothing would do. The FDA really needs to lóok into this US industry and do their jobs because these food are basically killing our loving friends! Check to see if it has grains and don't feed this to your pets. I have many friends that discovered there dogs and cats are allergic to grains. They either buy no grain food or make it themselves. Recipes are online everywhere. Sweet potatoes, greens; green beans, kale, spinach, cabbage, also I use fresh meat and cranberries for the kidneys. There fur is shiny and skin issues have disappear. It took about a month to see a difference.
They use round-up on grains before harvest; this is toxic. Corn is GMO and causes cancer tumors to form in the body. Most dog food is made in China. This is really scary.

I use only coconut oil based soaps...no other ingredients in the soap. After shampooing, I lightly spray my dog with ACV and massage it in. In areas where it's irritated, I spray colloidal silver twice a day. I do not allow ppl to handle my dog. Many things ppl were recently given (sic) transmit to ppl and pets. My dog is 100% better. I also use 2 dietary supplements Dr. Jones Ultimate Canine Formula and Dr. Mercola Organic Fermented Food. I know these have truly helped regulate my pup's gut biome. The critter-kinds in your care are a very fortunate bunch, indeed! I have been so saddened by the vets in my small agri-town...they have gone the way of Modern Medicine in swift time...very short hours, taking up weekends with surgeries, not being at all available when you really need them (which is usually some crazy early a.m. hour), or sending you & your injured/super-sick animal miles & miles away because they are too 'booked'. So miss those who are now retired, but thankfully, they are too dedicated to quit on us just yet. So appreciate your Real-ness. :)

Been watching you along time. So I have been using different ones of these. But, I found out that the formula that works best for my dog is 1% hydrocortisone topically and quercetin. There are days though when he has been out in wet grass or just a bad day I give cetirizine. When I added the quercetin though it was a game changer. I tried licorice root last year it was as you said short term. But, I also changed my dogs diet. I think he was also allergic to chicken. I don't feed kibble anymore. He is doing so much better. He is a 13 year old German shepherd. We walk everyday. Maybe not as far as before. He is on natural stuff you recommend for arthritis though. And, he is in pretty good shape thanks to you. ❤❤❤❤

Switching to human food has proven difficult too though..He is allergic to beef, turkey, chicken, potatoes, sweet potatoes and more. $2000 in vet bills later (for tests and meds) He is now on apoquel which cost me $141 CAD for 30 pills.

Hi Rebecca, I wonder how your pup would do on organ meat. It’s very nutritious for dogs. There is a grocery store near us that sells beef liver chicken liver, beef heart and beef lung. I know it sounds gross but our dog loves it. The heart and lung I cook whole In a small crockpot and then cut it up small, the livers I fry in a skillet with a little bit of coconut oil. We too have Taken our dog off dry dog food. Also I cook our dog more of string beans, broccoli, cauliflower and swiss chard so I’m not over loading her with sweet potato and carrot. We also give her scrambled eggs in the morning. The veggies I boil until they are soft and I mash them. The beef heart and lung I sometimes grind In the food processor. My dog likes a tablespoon of plain yogurt on her food too. I google everything I give her first to see if it is good for dogs. I hope this gives you some ideas. We only want the best for our dogs 🥰

My older dog is itching and shedding like CRAZEEEEEE ! The first time I brushed her hair no joke I was able to FILL my 8 gallon garbage can from top to bottom with her hair. It actually scared me with how much hair I brushed out. Made me think something is wrong for this much fur to come out in 1 brushing. But then once that initial brushing was done the amount that came out each day i brushed lessened and lessened but still she sheds on the daily and her hair is just everywhere on everything. The worst is when I find her hair floating in my coffee. I also noticed she has dandruff. She really has issues with her ears though. She can only scratch her outter ears with her paws and she tries to have me scratch her inner ears with my fingers. So i bend my pointer finger and push my knuckle into her ear and twist it back and forth to get that itch inside her ear that she can't reach. Is inner ear itch normal for dogs? Anything in particular I can apply to the inside area of the ears that will stop the itch ? Or just the same stuff you recommend for the body? Her itching is very bad to the point she can't get comfortable and is whining about it constantly until she wears herself out and falls asleep. Please Help! She older and she recently had to have her eyes removed due to lime disease.

My dog shares most of these symptoms but not as severe. Check at a vet's to see if she has food allergies. My dog is allergic to chicken, potato, grass, etc, and most kibbles have chicken! And the environment too, some dogs are allergic to dust mites. Once removed these allergens, although the test is not comprehensive of all allergens, her symptoms were alleviated. It also sounds like your dog could benefit from regular bath with Ketoconazole shampoo or solution. I'm trying out Quercetin soon.

Once again thank you for this information - You could easily pay hundreds of dollars for this type of consultation in office, but that is becoming less and less accessible for so many Canadians and unfortunately its our pets that pay the price for industry greed.
Dr Jones recommended Chlorhexidine wash for pyoderma, worked like a charm! One wash and I could see her spirit lifting and her eyes shinning again. Ive kept up with it as her weekly shampoo and night and day difference. Also, (now can't be sure that is from the soap, but after years of trying other things with no results one would assume?) she had many follicular cysts , and a few were in especially sore place like the toes, armpit; they have cleared up within a couple weeks to a month. A few came to head, drained and dried up.
My vet was amazed when he saw her again - I'm confused why this was given as an option before? Surely an OTC is safer than the 80 bottle of prescription shampoo that lasted two washes/ (shes a mastiff)
Anywho, sorry for the rant. If your still here - GIVE HIS RECOMMENDATIONS A TRY :)

Thank you for all the info, I’ve been watching your videos and so far I’ve learned a lot, the thing is that my not even 6 year old pet got sick and a blood test for her is pending since she may have pancreatitis, I’m really praying she doesn’t have that but despite that I will definitely be making some changes for her starting by cooking her food at home. I just want to see her happy & full of energy again🥲New subscriber here👋Thanks again🙏
