Man, Mumei's typed messages at the end hit me SO hard in the feels. This is exactly why she's my EN oshi, Mumei truly has such a heart of gold, and the talks of feeling alone in the past are so relatable that it hurts my heart. As someone who struggled for many years with similar feelings, who doesn't have many friends and is estranged from a majority of their family, I cannot express enough how grateful I am for all of us to have Mumei and Hololive in our lives. I truly feel like I'm at home whenever I'm watching Mumei's streams. I always know that I'm not alone, and it brings me an indescribable amount of joy. Absolutely amazing fanmade game, thanks for playing it Mumei!

Having followed Hololive since late 2018/early 2019, I feel like it is a phenominally unique place having grown from what it is into a group that has been such a powerful factor in both the lives of the talents who have found themselves here and that of the viewers themselves. For the members themselves it's not rare to hear sentiments about how this place managed to save some of their dreams and from that these people themselves have managed to bring that sort of kindness and spirit to those around them.
It's truly a unique place worth protecting.
I usually just lurk on stream and not leave comments even though I'm a member but I just want to say this.
During a very dark period of my life I discovered Hololive and they rekindled my passion, I eventually went to university and got my life back on track, without discovering Hololive and this great great community of Hoomans I wouldn't be where I am today. So I want to say Thank you thank you thank you Mumei for making our day just a bit brighter.

Hey Mumei. Even though I’m just another small person in this community, I want to pass along one of my favorite quotes of all time.
“Do you ever wonder why we’re here?”
This question from Red vs. Blue has always stuck with me not because of a running joke, but because of the genuine context of the question. Why are we here? Why do we stay so attached to a certain place or with a certain group or person? Why do we, despite having lives of our own, continue to come back here?
Well, the answer to this is simple: it’s because we found you Mumei. You won our hearts the day you debuted and have brought us laughter and joy ever through the hardest of times.
We’re here because of you Mumei and we’ll still be here no matter what.
I dont think Ive cried this much in awile. Thank you mumei for being you, you make me smile more than anything ever could. I dont know what I would do without you mumei. Thank you for everything
Over 2 years ago, I was in the middle of my university exams. With none of my hard work bearing fruit, I almost lost my way in life, not being able to see meaning in anything.
That's when you debutted, and changed my life forever.
I just want to say one thing.
Thank you so much, Mumei, for all the joy that you've given me. Your streams are, to me, a second home now.
No matter what comes ahead, no matter the hardships. I will...... or should I say, "we will" always be by your side.
One of the biggest reasons why I consider Mumei to be one of my top oshis is because of how much I completely relate with her. I also deal with a lot of difficulties with socializing with others and with being lonely, much like her. She understands just how terrible that feeling of loneliness is, and so she goes out of her way to make others feel less so and to create a community that can look out for each other, and to bring happiness and laughter for others. She's a genuinely wonderful and amazing person, and I'm incredibly glad that she's around and a part of Hololive.
Moments like this are why I love Hololive. Beneath all the game streams and yabai moments, there are genuine heartfelt moments where we can be vulnerable and safe together. I’m so happy that I’m a part of this community.
This game is really beautiful, you can see the love poured into it. It could probably get accolades as an indie game if it got the pushed into the mainstream

I was crying a lot at the end..
Am not gonna lie, I havnt watched mumei often in a long time but I used to watch her a lot on her early days and watching her from time to time I was impressed on how much has she growth as a person, she seems way more mature now and much less shy, but the fact that she couldn't talk about her feelings at the end.. It melted my heart T-T she truly deserve all the love in this world

I’ve felt alone for most of my life, and in recent years with Covid screwing up my school forcing me to spend over a year pretty much totally isolated, and after a brutal job search I’ve found something with decent pay but it’s 12.5 hour night shifts with a skeleton crew who I rarely even see and the loneliness is haunting.
But having Mumei and the hoomans, knowing other people feel/have felt similar and being able to kick back with some laughs and good company, makes each day a bit brighter.
Thank you Mumei for being you, I can’t imagine balancing this on top of civ duties and your health but you do it all with a smile and that makes it easy for us to smile as well. And thank you to the Hoomans for being such a sweet and warm community. Although I am anxious and I haven’t gotten to know many of you personally, even just getting greeted in prechat and seeing you guys goof around in chat is enough to brighten up my day. Oshi and fans alike, I sincerely do love you guys

What an emotional stream! You brought so much joy to the Hoomans, Mumei!
I think that was one of the most cathartic streams I've ever watched. I'm over here crying like a baby.
Streaming is a weird dynamic to sustain. You're constantly entertaining thousands yet when you press one button you're alone at a computer. Sometimes its not tangible the effect playing a silly game can have, but to people like me it helps me shoulder all of the loneliness and suffering I go through. Sometimes, you have no choice but to move forward on a steep hill, but with moments like these I'm reminded of why humanity is worth sticking around for. Joy and excitement over an act of kindness, like a fun little platformer, can really show someone how much you appreciate them.
You make everyday better. You've helped me a lot. I see a lot of the parts of me that I hate seeing in others in you. If you want to bring people joy and comfort and laughs and make them feel a little less lonely then you already do all that and more. You've impacted so many people in countless positive ways. You make so many people feel better and I hope we can make you feel better too. Thank you for being here, Mumei. I'll never be able to say that enough.

Never would I have thought that sticking around with the odd owl that ran around marking territory in a WolfQuest collab would lead to feeling emotions like this. It's amazing how a great little community has formed thanks to Mumei just being Mumei and others gravitating towards her. I may not be able to watch most of her streams live, or watch the VoDs as quickly as I can, but I love seeing the interactions she and the other hoomans have with each other. I'm glad Hololive exists because without it I don't think we would ever have had a way for such a wonderful person to come in to our lives. We love you, Mumei, so don't ever forget that your existence and happiness means something to a lot of people. And, if you do forget, there will be plenty of hoomans around to remind you.

Actually, I'm not good at English, so I don't understand everything you saybut I know that you are always work hard.

I'm genuinely at a loss of words. It's a beautiful thing right. It's just streaming and technically your job, but it also can be this really cool thing about community. Of course having the other Hololive members is cool too. It's been 2 years... which is scary to put in context, for example there's def people that were 18 yo and now 20, 10% of theirs lifes was filled with Mumei.
Even if the MV could be interpreted in many ways, i 1000% agree on the game's take of it. I'd say thats how the majority of us saw it.
Words are hard, specially right now lol. But i think its enough that both sides, Nanashi Mumei and us "hoomans", know how we feel about each other.

Let me tell you a story about a little owl named Nanashi Mumei.
Mumei is the Guardian of Civilization, seeing time go by and people pass through the very Civilizations she watches. She likes to watch you see, but as people come and go, she gets very lonely. Assisting Civilization in their growth but forced to watch as they fall, as they forget about the one who helped them. Forced to look for the ones who might remember because she knows they are out there in this world. Mumei might not know where they are, when they will meet or if she will remember them but one thing was for sure…Mumei was determined to find them.
In the search, Mumei finds an agency that welcomes her in with open arms. Filled with talented people and beings from all over. Perfect times with the Warden, The care and love of Nature, Always Hopeful without giving into Despair, Letting Chaos let loose being truly her, and having friends that reside within the Stars. Mumei had many times where she was alone but in this group, this family, she’s Not Alone. She never was. Even when things are difficult, when kyuns grow in volume, when she has the duties of her position as Civilization, there are some that worry, care and wish the best for her. Many of them come to Mumei for happiness, for comfort, for fun, to listen.
Being a beacon for many within this world, Mumei found her way to us. We might have not remembered or maybe she doesn’t remember , but the memories we are making now are thanks to her.
