I picked one up at the first of the summer after getting back into playing recently. I always had too much movement in my wrists. I’ve enjoyed it and I’m doing better with it.
LHL with jailbird and 1.0P grip. The LHL, heavier grip and putter head hovering just off the green really took the ____ out of stroke. I think a spider would be deadly in that set up above
Thank you for this video. I am very interested in an armlock putter, but the fitting process needs to be so precise. Especially with the zero torque type of putters. It seems like perfecting the setup and building the putter to insure that you are in that setup for each putt is key. The use of the mirror looks to be very helpful, and I would love to see a video that showed a proper fitting for an armlock putter that discusses the nuances to getting it right. Thanks again for your video. Cheers!
It's an oldy but I cover some of that in here: ua-cam.com/video/pd21MhAhCRM/v-deo.htmlsi=WMWo1rKN9mEeAag0 Measure under lead elbow (left if right handed) go 1" shorter. Get it nice and upright (start at 71*) then start at 6* loft and work from there. Grip is crucial. I settled into the Winn 16" I believe, not as thick as the SuperStroke stuff.
Just thinking out loud, is it possible to build a putter that is both? One you can Armlock(or achieves the same technique)for anything say inside 15 ft. and something you can swing a little more conventional for long ones? Maybe something that Armlocks at the half way or less point between wrist and elbow but is short enough to deal "feel" type putting?
Not seeing any available on the TM website. And if so is there a way to get the lie angle closer to 79 if you have a more upright, close to the ball posture? Last time I checked I think they're more like 72 lie at stock.

I built my armlock off an old Odyssey blade I had and love it. I got a lot more confident on my putting. Took my wrist out of play.

Recently picked up an evnroll mid lock and think it’s a great option because it’s easier to lag putt.
As an armlock user I agree with the long putts, it's a little more difficult, especially from the fringe, next cut, etc.
Yea fair & agree

You'd have to bend it yourself if not offered by TM
Wesley Bryan said that he is working on a wrist lock putter … is TM developing one as well?
I switched recently to an armlock and I will never go back
I switched to armlock this year and my putts have dropped
Trottie, when do we get to see the broomstick Spider ?
I have one. I have only ever practiced with it but I'd be up for making content on that. Doubt it would be for the masses. I think it's a great method
Trottie, when is taylormade going to enter the zero torque game?
