It’s nice to see (hear) someone who doesn’t try to show everyone he or she can shred constantly. AND plays the same thing each play thru so you can get a REAL idea of sounds. GREAT JOB.

I bought the very same model in turquoise green last week. I'ts a beautiful guitar! Unfortunately, I had to send my copy back to the dealer because the quality was poor. I'm not sure what the caused the issue, but either the bridge was screwed on offset to the side or the neck was mounted crooked. The result was that the strings were not centered but offset to the side. This should have been immediately obvious, but the quality control department was apparently busy elsewhere. Too bad. I'm glad to see that your guitar seems to be ok.
A beautiful guitar indeed! I am sorry to hear about that 😞. That feeling of having to send a guitar back due to QC is a bad one. If you decide to get another one, I hope it’s a way better experience for you!
Excellent summary of your PRS buying experience. Was surprised to hear the CE24 was giving you discomfort when playing. Playability is important. Feel is important & looks too. All are important. I personally don't like the naked head stock. Prefer it to match the body color. 👍🏻
Got the same one. Love it. So much so that i ordered another one. And i have USA Ce24s! The SE are so well put together and play amazingly that i want for nothing with this. Ill mod one and see how far it will go. But im keeping one stock.

They are definitely wonderful to look at! To me, no. I don't have the exact weight of my guitar but I believe it was between 7 and 8lbs. Not sure if you're familiar or not with Fender Player Telecasters, but it's lighter than that! Let me know if you have any other questions :).
The toggle switch location is a huge plus for me. I like things out of the way since I have a wild strumming pattern sometimes. Do you have a preference for satin vs. gloss necks or neckthrough vs. bolt-on?
I believe the cheapest PRS SE guitar currently on offer is the SE Standard 24, but I may be mistaken. There’s always the used market as well, where you can get things cheaper.
The SE version is a great instrument but if you love your USA CE24 then I'd suggest keeping it. It's an awful feeling letting go of a guitar that you enjoy and regretting it afterwards. I'd love to try the SAS at some point.

Oh no the indonesian 85/15 aren't awful .. the bridge position was ok ... Prs are keeping the cost down with those pickups ... they lack girth n personality ... u always get what u pay for apart fron Sire ahaha
I used to own a prs se floyd rose and it had the same pick ups ... I find the indonesian ones nowhere near as good as the american 85/15 ... the indonesian ones are dull ... the american pick ups are night and day ... unfortunately the majority of se 's have them 85/15 ... i looove the dgt se pick ups and u can see where the money went ... finish ( i have the gold one) and pick ups ...
I’ve heard a lot of praise for the SE DGT pickups so that’s good! I did consider getting the SE DGT gold top but ultimately decided against it bc of the gloss neck 😅. I hope you are enjoying yours! Having played both the American and Indonesian 85/15 I agree that the American ones are better for sure. I don’t think the Indonesian ones are awful, but currently I feel like swapping them for 59/09s

I put locking tuners on mine, the lamp shade knobs and a dimarzio super distortion in the bridge and a paf pro in the neck.
Just bought the same guitar,its a keeper.

Hey! To follow up it looks like PRS just released another version of this called the SE CE 24 Standard Satin ! Currently it goes for $499 USD.
I got mine today and it looks GREEN and I don't mean a little green.. I mean Frog Green.. is yours like that and it shows up turquoise?
