This is actually bloody awesome. Completes the entire set of songs; feels genuine to the perspective of the Boxers; makes the entire set together a human story rather than a catchy but otherwise problematic song from the 1960s. They fought and died for their beliefs; horrid and untethered to reality in many ways, but genuine and true. Do not emulate them, but remember them too (both for what not to be, and what to respect) :D It's like that Anglo-Zulu war movie - the fact that it was done with the buy-in and representation of the Zulu people turns it from "here's what's probably disgusting neocolonialist and probably racist propaganda" into "respect, they lost and fell in droves to our guns, but they fought as well as they could and did it for a cause they believed in - as did we.
