- I truly cannot believe I'm saying this but...I'm pregnant!
Having survived a severe case of anorexia in high school - which left me osteopenic and in pre-menopause - my fertility was highly damaged, and I didn't start menstruating until I was 29. It was doubtful that I would be able to have children.
But by the grace of God, my husband and I conceived on our first month of trying!
Publishing this, I am now 11 weeks, pregnant, but this was filmed at just 5 weeks!
Sharing all about HOW we supported my fertility and got pregnant, plus the fun details of my pregnancy journey thus far -- on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet!

I remembered your mothers prayers today and how she prayed you through to today, day after day on her knees.
Yes -- that is one of the things that gets me choked up too. All the hours that she spent in the Adoration Chapel at church, just pleading with Jesus to let me live, and it is really moving. We've had a lot of heart to hearts since being pregnant and she shared with me that she never thought this would be possible for me, and that she had prepared her heart to be ready to walk with me through that painful road of infertility if that were the case, and she is just overcome with thankfulness and joy, as well, that God really and truly restored my body 100%. it is a miracle.
