What front suspension kit was used. Do you have video on the front suspension installation. Great video on the full floor pan replacement. I am starting my full floor pan work and this was helpful. I have seen others use bracing across the vehicle during a full floor pan removal and install. Is that needed? I have a 1969 fastback.
Amazes me how somebody with their own shop who can weld, cut and rivet can actually rebuild the old rusted mustangs to ALMOST a totally new car. Like Danny on Counting Cars who actually does end up with new mustangs with new motor, transmission, interior, front end, etc. In fairness to Ford I am sure they had no idea back in 1965 that the mustangs would end up as icons for baby boomers late in their lives and people would be pulling rusted out bodies out of junk yards and refurbishing them putting thousands of dollars into rebuilds. I know there is a shop in California that actually builds a new frame and does entire NEW classic mustangs.
Great work, Are there finishing plates for the new front frame into the old frame by the firewall? it looks like it is open in the bottom of the original frame?? Again love the videos! thanks for doing them!
Because of ur videos on UA-cam, I got the courage to replace my floor pans in my 70 Mach 1, didn't realize that u do the whole floor until this video So now that I've ordered both floor pans in, Ben, give me ur thoughts on them Planning on one at a time, just follow the spot welds on the rockers? Take them out with cut off blade on angle grinder? And do u suggests butt welding the rest( transmission tunnel, & front and back of them
@@petersonrestorations thanks Ben, great work, I'm the one ask u if u needed help, but wouldn't move that far north. I've owned this car since 89, now retired, got time to work on it, won't be up to ur great work, but might get ur approval signed by a mustang fanatic BTW- got another 70 in back yd, cept it's got a C-6 in it, good lord willing, thanks again!!!
How do you get the full floor pan in, can you get it in through the door or from underneath or through the windshield opening? Just curious since I am contemplating on changing the full floor just like you explained rather than in sections. Thanks for sharing these videos, they are very informative and I enjoy watching the progress on your projects. Good work as always!
just set up a tripod and go at it man we need some cutting and welding actions haha its informative this way but not fun need some action like you were cutting that 65 right in half it was painful but satisfying in a weird way :) you know you can make more money on youtube than building those pony's you just have to learn how to edit and include some action into videos it will take less than a year for you to start making some serious money on youtube
I love the work you do!!! ❤️😎
Nice work as usual
If you have any photos of customers who finished some of your chassis’s that you sold I am sure your viewers would enjoy that.
I always enjoy seeing your quality work.
Keep them coming Ben! 👍🏼👍🏼💪🏼🤙🏼

So do you not need to weld cross braces in before cutting the old pan out
When you say “clean up”, what do you do? Wire wheel the metal, or sandblast it?
Wire wheel

Yes they tie I to the floor supports

I overlap the new panel over existing metal by about 1/4. That way it is stronger then butt welding all around

It fits in through the door frame, helps to have a extra hand when fishing it through
How do the new complete body kits compare to originals? Is there alot of difference in quality and fitting?
What do you mean as body kits
@@petersonrestorations new shell , trunk lid, panels and what not are they comparable in quality and fitting to original production parts
I have a question about my 69 mustang about time on the sheet metal work so is there a phone number that I can get in touch with you
