Looks beautiful! Your work bringing these cars back to life is amazing. You do great work! If you we weren’t so far away I’d have my fastbacks in your hands for some metal work. Maybe someday I’ll make the drive 🤷🏻♂️. I enjoy your content keep up the great work.
Great work. I especially like that you rebuild cars most people would give up on. I think people are too quick to make a car a parts car. I'd like to see more video of the work you're doing, the welding, etc.
Very odd how the 'Tube seems to unsub people... I know for a fact I've watched this AND liked it previously. . . smh.. I got my '68 inner door hinge plates Friday. Appreciate it !
Quite a bit of new metal had to go into this build. I also can't count the number of times you said "rotted out" over the course of these videos, this thing was quite the rustbucket! Did you ever consider media blasting the original chassis to make sure there were no more hidden surprises?
Mr. Peterson, I am restoring a 69 mach one and have lots of experience, but really enjoy your restoration video, you are truly a pro! I do have a question you might be able to help with? Is there a factory body line below the scoops on the quarter panels or is this an artifact of poor repo panels, I see many cars with them and many without them??
Interesting stuff. 69 fastback is my favourite body style. I’m curious to see how the engine fits. I have a 2003 quad cam 4.6 modular engine and it’s massive
Most those car's weren't square and had bad body panel alignment from the factory. That car will be better then new when your done with it. Only thing you could do better would be a actual spot welder at least where they are visible like the door jams. Hard to duplicate the look of a original spot weld with a button weld and a grinder.
You've got talent but being a collision tech for 30 years I could help you tighten up your work with different materials and procedures with newer technically on how to install panels.
Dude you are the Fastback King!
Absolutely amazing work. U are truly an artist.
Thank you
Wow,you work fast,super efficient!🙀

New Subscriber - great content! maybe add some time lapse so we can see your techniques in more detail. Keep it up!
What brand of red primer do you use? thanks and very nice work!
What is the red oxide paint that you use?
What brand red oxide primer do you use? Thanks
Without a frame jig to measure the car body how do you know you have things straight?
Just with measurements I have
What is the red primer?
Just red oxide primer for bare metal
I notice you did not re-install the upper fender brackets on the cowl. Do you normally just eliminate them?
I set the fenders in place first to see exactly where to weld them on at

Now if you could manufacture a vin code and a title....
wondering who is giving no likies to peterson ???
So basically all your doing is taking about the car.
