Hello I've just purchased a mic, but Im baffled, as I've followed the directions but there is no difference between being on or off switch (camera Vs smartphone) I'm using an oppo A3s and when plugged in nothing happens
I think your camera isn't picking up external mic like mine. I had to download Open camera app and changed the video settings to pick sound from external mic. Ps: I think the boya lapel mic is overrated, it isn't loud at all, the sound comes out when you put it in front of your mouth 🤦🏻♀️
May delay ba talaga 'tong mic na 'to? Kapag nagrerecord na kasi ako habang tumatagal di na nagmamatch ung galaw ng bibig sa audio. Dahil kaya 'to dahil sa sobrang haba ng wire? Or sa unit ko lang kaya talaga? Salamat po and magandang buhay sa inyo! =)
Sa video editting ba nag ddelay yung dulo pagkatapos mong i-import? Madalas kasi 'to mangyari lalo na sa mga iphone nag rerecord. Na cocompress yung whole vid at naiiba yung framerate kaya di na nag mamatch sa audio.

If your camera settings has an option for choosing "external microphone" you may switch your default audio source ☺️ if not, there are other camera apps on playstore that lets you switch your audio source
Your mic comparison is useless. You used the phone's built in mic, and compared it to computer connected mic. What you should have done is use a phone mic, and then use the Boya on same phone, so we can get an idea. You are comparing apples and oranges.
