hi, if i plug in earphones into the 3.5 (provided on m1 pro ).....and connect the m1 pro to any laptop ...can i listen to conversation (other users in conference)...like a headset with mic?
I purchased one but can't get the live audio monitoring to work. I tried it with 2 different units without any luck. Does the 3.5mm jack work as a headphone out or for live audio monitoring? Because those are two very different things.
I just bought one. Not working well for me. In OBS Studio, (i have the mic turned to max), but when recording using the boya m1 the volume playback is very low. Unless i hold the mic right to my mouth, its recording low for some reason.
If you record in a normal room without any treatment does the microphone picks the ambient noise (static noise) or not? Please let me know as I have Blue Yeti and yeti with gain or without it kept picking up the noise from my room even tho I have no fans, nothing makes that noise but yet it kept picking the Ambient noises So do you recommend this mic?
Hi, I had two PC's running in the background while shooting this, plus kids running round downstairs. Both of which I could hear but it wasnt picked up on mic. It's very directional and when close to your mouth, should only pick up your voice.

Can I use this lavalier in there with the 1/4" jack addon, and I should probably turn off the Boya's own preamp right? (if I understand correctly). I want to use it for discord (already have a DT770Pro headphones and I don't wanna switch to a headset). Have you tried this mic plugged directly into a soundcard/interface? Question 2: is there another lavalier below say, 70 bucks, that has significant better audio quality out-of-the-box? I think the Rode's sound WAY worse at a way higher cost out-of-the-box EQ wise.
Hi, is the first recording in the video really a raw unedited recording? Just bought this mic for myself and it sounds much much more compressed. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but the sound is really trashy. What can I try?
Hi! Yes, unedited, just plugged straight into my camera and that’s it. Perhaps the camera quality may help a lot? I do generally edit audio in premier pro once recorded, add some EQ effects to make it sound a little more rounded. It’s still a budget mic though!

Did you tried to use it for audio output? Because I need that instead the monitoring

Which one do you think sounds better? The by m1 or the pro version?

I don’t see why not but I’ve not tested this.
