      Just to ask if yung compressor ba can be used for example kapag masyado'ng mahina yung ibang parts ng pagsasalita, the compressor can also minimize the changes and make the output volume almost stay the same.Thanks!

      I do not know where did you connect your mic. did you actually connect it on your computer? I have my first condenser mic and I do not know where will I connect my mic.
      thank you.

    Brother man, your tutorial actually helped me out. I own a v8 + bm 800 combo and it sounded so bad. Like "I totally regretted buying this and NORCLA was right" bad. But because of this tutorial my mic sounds passable and actually alleviated my concerns and regrets. Really didn't know what I was doing until I watch this very helpful video. Again, thank you!

    • @jacovanvuuren8752
      @jacovanvuuren8752 2 роки тому

      I also have that combo, but when I use the BM800 with the V8 then the mic is very soft and sounds bad, even soft at full input volume with boost.

    • @Vexatedcanicus
      @Vexatedcanicus 2 роки тому

      @@jacovanvuuren8752 yeah get voicemeeter banana. Mine had the same issue too until I got that. Also instead of using the mic to the side of your face like norcla said, use it dead center. It pics up well for me doing that.

    • @Vexatedcanicus
      @Vexatedcanicus 2 роки тому +1

      @@jacovanvuuren8752 also make sure your V8 Volume knob is set to max. Your boost in your pc can go higher for sure. If I remember mine is about 60-70 dB. That boost with voicemeeter banana should work. Hope that helps bud

    Bro, you saved me. I've been dealing with my mic having some static and a really weird noise suppression that delays the attack for two years and could not do anything because there were only shitty tutorials on UA-cam. But I watched yours from beginning to end because it simply solved every problem I had. Congrats, you deserve it.

    Thank you so much dude! pretty good tutorial, some people hate when tutorials get too "technical" but thats actually cool because you learn a lot!. Is not only about moving sliders and setting numbers, its better to know what you are doing@. thanks it was very informative. I actually just got this mic today so this video came in pretty handy!. Just a question.. if you add another pop filter like the roudned ones that go infront of the mic, it should improve the audio but should I change some other setting to take advantage of it? or it wouldn't really matter?.
    Thanks

    • @NORCLA
      @NORCLA  3 роки тому

      Thank you for the kind words! Pop filters (the 'round ones' you've mentioned) or windscreens (the 'foam ball' usually attached to mics) have a direct impact on plosives (the harsh 'b' and 'p' sounds). Windscreens tend to make the overall tone of your voice 'warmer' (more bassy) but not by much. No need to adjust anything!

      Thank you for the kind words! Also, I think kilala ko yung tinutukoy mo. In fact, siya actually yung nag-inspire to make a video like this because mali-mali yung explanation... Though, to be fair to him he seems like a nice & sincere guy and he made a follow up video where he explains things better :)
