Story 1: I feel like "in case there isn't enough food" doesn't get enough attention. And according to OP, her fiance said they "usually" don't have enough for everyone. If they can't figure out a better solution than this, someone else should be hosting. What do the people who don't get food do? Like, ask for $ to make more food or ask people to bring some if $ or effort is the issue. The solution is more food, not whatever this is. Story 2: I'm glad she left him, but also her parents are really bothering me, here. It's bad enough that her so-called close friends dismissed her feelings, but her parents are supposed to support her through things like this, not tear her down further through invalidation. Not surprised that OP thought she needed to stay with him. Sad, but not surprised. Story 4: I said this on a previous video with this story, but I stand by it: OP's mom brought an innocent cake into it. She's messing with cake. A special place on ASCON 1. The fake apology is just, if you will, the icing on the cake. Story 5: OP needs to get it together , not just to prevent rifts, but to prevent her daughter from becoming a golden child. She was there for that interaction, so she knows that, as her mom presented it, she was more wanted than her brother. That has so much potential to become a golden child problem if OP doesn't fix it starting immediately.
At the very least, those who don’t live there / weren’t aware of this weird tradition didn’t bring an extra pair to throw in, so their only option would be to use the ones they’re wearing.

Everyone should be bringing enough for the family. Everyone bring a dish. Yes there may be someone in the family that can’t afford to bring anything but others make up for that. You've got the two older brothers bullying their younger sister by implying she's unwanted, you've got the mom retaliating in the most hurtful way possible by stating that they never would've been born if it was up to her, you've got the oldest son calling his MOTHER a BITCH and you've got the father calling his wife an asshole and telling her to FUCK OFF when she asks for his help to resolve this. This entire family needs therapy. And you know OP only confirmed what those boys knew all along, which is why they were bullying their sister in the first place. This is a dysfunctional family.

My mom would throw a baby shower for herself. She has a whole delusion about her role as a grandmother especially since I'm low contact. She is creating a guest room although no one visits her. I think it will become a secret nursery since she mentions babysitting
There’s a difference between telling the truth and giving someone hurtful information. “Im l just telling the truth”is an abusive tactic used by narcissist. If telling the truth has no positive reason and will only hurt someone there is no reason to say it. Even as adults I didn’t want you is an awful thing to tell your kids.
