- My 2006 ram 3500 getting an Eaton fuller RTO6613. Yes I know what Iv got myself into.
All the Fab work and installation was done by my wife and I.
Lots more content coming from my 2006 ram 3500 dually and new to me 2007 5.9 3500 mega cab dually that will be converted to a single wheel and the auto taken out and a manual swapped in.
Stay tuned to see what manual get swapped into that and what auxiliary/ secondary transmission gets stuffed behind that as well. 🚚

@@matthewjones8620 heck yea dude that’s badass! Thats what I originally wanted to do. But decided not too for the size differences from my baby 10. Would love to see it when you get it done.

@@GarageOperator yea the big 18 required massive floor modifications to fit, I don't split the low gears mostly went with the 18 speed to gain 1 extra low gear for trailer maneuvering in tight spots
@@matthewjones8620 awesome! Yea I bet that SAE1 is huge. Even the SAE #2 like I have still requires a lot of tunnel fab. Mine is the 15spd but I just drive it like a regular 10spd don’t even use the deep reduction unless I’m backing up. The 3 reverse gears is awesome in it and it gave me a higher overdrive then my 6spd that was In it.
Im very happy with it over.

@@GarageOperator I actually used a sae 2 bell housing with a 14" clutch. I plan to post a video but it might be a few weeks.

@@CarbonNeutral22 yes I think so too. As far as I know. It’ll be the 1st 3rd gen common rail with an Eaton fuller 13spd 🤩
Stay tuned. My 07 mega cab will probably be getting the 6spd that was in this truck along with a spicer auxiliary 3 or 4spd transmission.
@@GarageOperator a real twin stick would be a very cool build as well! I'll stay tuned I have thought about a 13 speed many times, I really am not a fan of shifting the 10 speeds I find them to be too tight if you know what I mean.
