If we take kaido’s words at face value you awaken your fruit when your body and mind are able to harness the full power of the fruit itself but we also learned form the gorosei that zoan fruits act like they have a mind of their own so to speak and we know that Yamato’s df is regarded as the guardian of Wano and for the longest time yamato loves and wanted to liberate wano to the point that she postponed her own dream of sailing the world to save guard Wano until Momo becomes capable of doing so. That may also need to be taken into consideration for zoan awakenings that the fruit itself needs to acknowledge you. For the same reason it make sense that kaido wasn’t awakened, his fruit was inspired by the tale of the koi fish that was rewarded by the gods for its determination and perseverance by being turned into a dragon. Perseverance and determination were things that kaido had lost when he fell into his depression so the fruit didn’t acknowledge him but Momo is the exact opposite he is almost entirely driven by determination to make Wano great and free and so far he persevered in his goal. The same can be said for luffy and his wish for freedom

That fight would turn the world upside down. And Mihawk acknowledged that people like Luffy, who could easily turn others into allies, were the most dangerous people in the seas. Luffy's power is not hyperbole; it's literal. He gathers allies like no other, and those allies in turn entrust him with their dreams, hopes, and wills, granting him more and more power. It's a powerful and unbreakable cycle.

I got the same idea with you about how Nika power work, Nika seems like able to absorb the wish/will of people around him. When Luffy died people around him don't believe it and wish Luffy still able to fight, Nika granted it by allowing Luffy to awaken his power and comeback from dead When Luffy reaching it's limit on gear 5 he turn into old man but people around him wish Luffy to win the fight and suddenly Luffy able to use gear 5 again And in the early part of Egghead arc vegapunk said that "As long as there is people wishing for him, Nika will never perish", giving the idea that wish/will is Nika main power source
the point of awakening i think is the maximum harmony between fruit and user in terms of spirit, will...etc. in terms of Yamato, they are very in-line with the spirit of their fruit, thus i'd assume that they are awakened. in terms of Gear 4, Kaido, and maybe even Yamato if they truly aren't fully awakened, the Hagoromo signifies at the very least a very strong harmony although not perfect, and is retained when the awakening does occur. Kaido specifically had no signs of the hagoromo anywhere (and his dragon form leads me to believe it'd be made out of flame clouds) and that would probably be explained through the fact that he was essentially done, had no dream or motivation, only sought a death that "completed" him as a legend. that flawed way of thinking, in my opinion, is not very dragon-like. dragons are described in all sorts of mythology as mystical, proud, elegant, majestic...etc. creatures with tons of power to back it all up. kaido's personality was that of a broken man with no ambition, one settling for "mediocrity" in establishing a dictatorial regime in an isolated country and exploiting it for weapons production to garner monetary gain and bolster his strength... but to what end? essentially he was a king content with enjoying the benefits of his throne under the philosophy of "might makes right", never striving to truly be a king with achievements that would land him in legends, he simply acquired strength and waited for someone to surpass and kill him. so in the end he wasn't truly awakened. the later bulkier form with different eyebrows and whatnot maybe due to his drunkenness bringing out more of his true personality, thus one could say he's closer to awakening in that state but not truly as it's an inebriated state, therefore no hagoromo. if kaido's fruit is reincarnated and a major character acquires it afterwards, we may see the fruit's true awakening through them. to end this wall of text with a provoking thought: i've always wondered what would happen if a smile/synthetic devil fruit user ate a real devil fruit... and to make it more interesting: what if Momonosuke finds Kaido's fruit in Wano and eats it himself?
I agree. Oda could have Easily snuck in the term or text box for Kaidos awakened form, but he didn't. I 100% think this was purposely done because I assume at a later date we will find out the true will of that fruit from a flashback of a previous user or the progenitor itself. Awakening was a theme in Wano so what better to show the counter of that with Kaido (a df user for many years) not being able to for some reason.
This theory makes sense because if you are not able to rally people behind you, get them to completely trust and believe that you cannot lose, then the fruit would be useless. Of course, the fruit itself would likely only choose a user who is able to do this, so through this selection bias, every user of the fruit would be able to use its powers to a great extent.
Maybe it's more about the ambition and character of the fruit user. Doflamingo - ruler behind the scenes, master of puppets. His String String fruit just clicked in some way. He aligned with the fruit. Luffy - imagination, being the most free. Spreading liberation trough the seas just like Joy Boy did. It clicked, because Luffy simply sacrified himself for Wano, then Nika recognized him. Lucci - murdurous bastard who just want to kill for the thrill of the act. Feline wild cats like to do this things with their prey. Dunno about Kaku and Giraffess, but maybe his nose played a role :D
So Imu's trump card is the belief in the power of the WG and the Godhood of the Celestial Dragons. There has to be a reason for them to not only insist that they be acknowledged as gods but actually be conditioned to believe it themselves.
This is one of your best video ever, I think you have an amazing ability to look for core issues in the story and a great point of view on the bigger picture. Always a pleasure to listen to tour thoughts process, thank you!
If neither jailers nor monster point have a scarf, that might mean you only get a scarf if you awaken properly - if you rush it and turn into a mindless beast, no scarf.
@@qtar1984yeah unlike Luffy and Yamato that naturally pushed their fruit to the limit and synced them perfectly, Chopper almost didn't do that since he's drug-dependant to use Monster Form
Or it could be that there are stages to becoming awakened. It was said that awakening was when the mind and the body catch up to the devil fruit. What if having one component catch up to your devil fruit causes a partial awakening. But having both your mind and body in sync with your DF produces the god scarf and is a True Awakening.
Well that doesn’t make total sense only because luffy has that god scarf or white clouds surrounding him while hes using the different variation forms of gear 4th which is confirmed as not being apart of his devil fruit awakening and only gear 5th is considered his devil fruit awakening.
I always thought of Snakeman as Luffy "forcing" his fruit into a faux awakening state since Luffy was pretty much using Gear 5 abilities like using culverin (ain't no way to explain the endless expansion of his arm and it following his target otherwise). As for the jailer's I think their fruit awakened and overtook the user and so that didn't manifest the scarf. The scarf might be a symbol of perfect synergy between the user and the fruit so chopper might get his once he doesn't have to rely on his rumble balls.
The idea that luffy is what people believe him to be is acfually quite interesting as an idea. What if thats why its been written to be the gumgum fruit instead by the gorosei. To make the belief of people that the fruit is just a rubber fruit, hence causing those possessing it to believe so too. By deseminating information about it they effectively defeated the fruit, but all it took was for someone to get far enough and have enough belief from others that the fruits true nature is restored to the nika fruit
I realized that there must be a connecting line between the nika-nika no mi, the transformation of the minks at full moon, and the drugs of the tamatebako box. They all give tremendous power to their users, but at the cost of their life force. I'm pretty sure Oda left a few breadcrumbs here and there. I am pretty sure there is a connection to the lunarians too. I'd love to see @JoyBoyTheories pick up on this and what mega theory might come out of it.
The steam that forms the scarf has been slowly getting more apparent since Enies Lobby. The way the steam curls is very suggestive. And the coming back to life is like a cartoon getting flattened and shaking themself 3d again.
Hey my dude! I love everything you're saying and the direction you've been going lately with these more wild and more all encompassing theories. You may not realize but some of your theorizing is touching on the ideas of Buddhist Hell that came to be as Sects began to become more commonplace in Japan. I think you could find connections looking into these ideas and historical parallels. Keep up with Booms, I love everything you're doing man.
Kaido was awakened after his defeat. When we see Kaido next, he will be the biggest Luffy STAN. Joy Boy awakened the final Dragon high Buddist God form of Kiado.
I feel like Luffy has been awakened throughout the story. He has always embodied the true aspect of Nika, Freedom. Going back through the series there were several times we just wrote things off as “goofy pirate cartoon” Nami hurting Luffy and Luffy shaped holes in the ground are just a couple examples of this. Gear 5 is just the purest form of this and he is actually able to intentionally make his imagination reality.
LET HIM COOK. I really liked this one. There was a good internal consistency here thematically and with the story. *sniff wine* and a hint of cedar undertones. Delicious.
Luffy having friends at all the places he’s been is intentional on Oda’s behalf as when luffy faces off against imu and the world government, his strength will power up massively from the entire world singing and dancing to the drums of liberation to cheer him on as they pray to the sun god for their liberation from the world government
Sakura tended to appear in great amounts throughout the island (particularly in spots where characters were seeing action) when Hiyori's Shreddin Shamisen Solo was blastin'! There was falling and flowing Sakura when Oden was in the 'Hot-pot', and when Yasuie was getting crucified too; I'm sure there's more examples
21:22 You can continue on with this even further to say that the reason all of his friends always win their fights is because he believes that they will. Following along that same thread, the reason why Ace didn't survive is because Luffy had doubts about whether he could save him
8:07 that's what makes me think that you're suppose to watch the anime along with the Manga because it fills in information that the Manga doesn't get out.
From what I assumed, you have to conquerors haki to unlock and fully control the devil fruits. Vegapunk mentioned the will of the fruits and how the uses has to supress them with their own wills.
This might sound weird but damm is your voice just amazing to listen too. With a mix of your chill voice while talking about one piece is just the best
Totally agree! and while it is a bummer that awakenings haven’t been fully explained, it adds more mystique to Saturn and is the reason why we’re wondering whether his power is either a Devil fruit or the result of science (or neither). On top of that, it gives Oda a lot more room for creativity with the story as you said he definitely didn’t have it 100% written out or conceptualized from the beginning. There’s room for characters like Moriah to have an interesting awakening and can be relevant to the future story again because of it. Like imagine Blackbeard forcing Moriah (if he fails to escape) to use his awakening on Rocks’ body (Madara Style). It’s tin-foiley but it’s just a small example out of the many possibilities.
I think the godscarf is just how Conquers Haki is displayed on an Zoan Transformation. It would explain how an Awaken Zoan could not have the scarf. Chopper and the impel down Zoan's don't have conquers Haki. It would make sense CP0 members all use Tekken and probably have conquers Haki. Maybe the godscarf represents the Haki of the human can't be completely intergrated to the Zoan transformation. This explanation would also explain why luffy has one on his Gear 4.
When first reading the end of Wano, it felt very odd that not one of the crew was shown to awaken. This Beast Pirates were established as the strongest Zoan crew, with a mix of Ancient and Mythic zoans in the ranks, and when Queen, King, and Kaido all went down, I kept wondering when they would awaken. And suddenly, it was over. Wano's ending has grown on me since, but for none of the top crew, not even Kaido to be awakened and not able to achieve a "final level" did affect with my expectations as the climax approached.
@jonathanlord6213 explain Lucci and Kaku's scarf, then. Their fruits are not mythical. Also, Oda never stated that. However, it could be a possibility.
@@Ghost251_pa Lucci and Kaku are both zoan devil fruit users. That scarf only appears for Zoan devil fruits. Doflamingo is a paramecia devil fruit user therefore no scarf.
I trully believe you have to die to awaken your zoan fruit. When you die, the spirit and will of the zoan fruit takes hold of your being and you become one. And then, there are two possible outcomes: 1. The zoan spirit is too strong for you, and it takes dominion over you indefinitely. (Impel Down Zoans, Shaka's words). 2. You are strong and in sync with the fruit and you reach into its full power, without losing yourself or at least not too much of yourself (we can see that Luffy clearly changes a lot when he turns into Nika). And Kaido never died so.... But what about Lucci and Kaku, you ask. Their awakening is artificial, a boost granted by Imu through the Gorosei. That's why they have black clouds just like Saturn. Pd. I will bet my money on Kaido coming back awakened.
I see your point about a Kaido/Luffy rematch JB but I have to point out that not once did Kaido protect himself with armament Haki, a non-suicidal Kaido isnt losing to Luffy let alone anyone else outside of Shanks and MAYBE Blackbeard
Momonosuke awakening the dragon makes perfect sense from another perspective too- Having a character use a power we’ve already seen in this detail would be awkward.
Well maybe having the cloud scarf for regular and ancient zoans means that they are able to control their awakenings. But then it’s just a feature that some mythical zoans eg. Kaido’s flame clouds, Yamato, and gear 4th Luffy.
My head cannon is that to awaken the fruit, it has to do with the users either will, dreams, or wishes aligning with the fruit in some way. Maybe matching up with the desires of the original persons that dream created the fruit in the first place. Havent fully fleshed it out.
Interesting idea, Luffy dose not kill people, now he will crush their dreams but he won't kill them. I think a lot of stories emphasis a big part of being a hero is things like mercy and compassion, heroes don't kill people, they stop them when necessary but they protect others even those who do harm.
I think Kaido can not awaken his devil fruit because he wants something else, to bem joyboy or to be killed by him. About the awakening of zoan fruits, I believe the mythical type has more of a personality and lore, so it's harder to be in sync with what it represents
I'm glad you tackled the awakening problem. People treat me like I'm crazy whenever I say that Kaido didn't awaken. Or that it's at least not confirmed. And I was one of the people who just didn't believe the battle was over. Because I was waiting for his awakening. Or at least confirmation that he can't awaken.
I would say that awakenings can be divided into two camps of cause: resisting death, or extreme loyalty. I would think that individuals like luffy, law, Kidd and kaido probably fit into this category. It’s almost certain that law and kidd got put in their place near the point of death multiple times. Law nearly died against doflamingo, it would not be unreasonable to assume that caused his awakening but it didn’t restore his vitality to use it against doffy, Kidd got his shit pushed in by kaido, and that might have done his. And maybe paramecias are easier to awaken. Maybe kaidos weakness was that he couldn’t be brought close enough to death when he was powerful enough, and luffy just did that so he may have awakened him. When it comes to loyalty I’d attribute that to the cp-0 members, maybe having your faith and loyalty tested to such an extent and then maintaining it it allowed their fruits to recognize that the strength is needed and awakens. I wouldn’t be surprised if when luchi and kaku were hunted when they returned just as who’s who thought he’d be, and thus maintaining loyalty is what allowed them to awaken when they become strong enough. I have zero evidence for any of this.
The dope thing about the anime is how close they work with oda and his manga staff to enhance the story of the manga and to hit points that aren’t capable in manga form. Why the one piece anime has so few filler episodes
Back when it was up in the air what his awakening would be, I thought that "joyboy returning" had some specific requirements. Bink's sake and the dawn held and still hold hints we don't know the full extent of. I personally thought it would be something like : 1. Land of Wano (be it because of the ancient weapon, ancient traditions, old allies, specifics of a promise) 2. Has to happen during the fire festival (which in itself looks like a massive ceremony to contact the dead) 3. Have a person who survived death guide Joyboy's soul to his avatar (ffs goda give brook the spotlight for once) 4. Avatar has to be a D, because the the dying smile is the portal to Joyboy. ((and the reason why D's smile upon dying is because they are giving Joyboy a chance to use their bodies as an avatar) 5. Avatar may also have to have the Hito Hito No Mi As for the awakenings, I think it's just Oda not ironing out all the itty bitty details, which is fine, Keeping a tight ship for almost 30 years, it's ok to forgive a few holes here and there. Yamato being awakened could work with her willingness to sacrifice herself for the country (simply by being like Oden, someone who genuinely cared about Wano and it's people, the fruit chose her).
My head canon is that Kaido was awakened from the get go. His fruit isn't the dragon fruit, it's the mythical fish that ascended to being a dragon. I think that maybe he has a fish transformation when he originally got the fruit but it was awakened into a dragon at some point.
1:20 Yamato's cuffs can't be sea stone cuffs, not only Luffy can crush them with haki, he also wasn't weaken by them, she also has way too much control and skills with the fruit ability if she had never used them before.
Maybe Kaido could explain Awakening because he once was awakened and lost that ability. He is somewhat of an emotional wreck that lost his will to become Joyboy long ago, so saying his mind was not in the best state is not far fetched.
I know you were talking about wano but I had a similar idea about people’s beliefs powering up Luffy. In Ennies lobby usopp wished for Luffy to get up and Luffy found the power to finish lucci when he had nothing left. There’s definitely something there
I think what people seem to miss is that that Kaido has a fish fruit. I personally believed his dragon form was the awakening and up till that point he was basically a magikarp. I know the model is “whatever” dragon but similar to luffy’s fruit, the model was “Nika” but he was unable to even access the powers of the name until he awakened
IMO, death looks like a criteria for human-mythical Zoan awakenings... at least I think the idea of losing your humanity once would make it cool... but it's whatever Oda says.
Personally I think kiado was for sure awakened. I think the his purple hybrid form shows that as well as him being able to create a giant form of himself out of magma. I also don't think he is dead and will be back. I don't think the lava will have a deadly effect on him
Kaido was definitely awakened. Didn't even need to be spelled by Oda he made it SUPER clear by how Kaido embodied his fruit. He was one with his fruit. I truly cannot think of any more power ups to kaido than what we saw. It was the pinnacle of the dragon
Okay you have to keep in mind that he isn't just a dragon he's a fish. His fruit specifically is from a Japanese folklore about koi swimming up a waterfall and being rewarded once they reached the top for their determination. Now could be said that Kaido's dream of a might makes right society matches the ideals of the fruit but Kaido's true dream was to die. Kaido didn't want to reach the top he wanted someone who was aiming for the top to end his life. So I don't think Kaido was a true match for the spirit of his fruit and probably wasn't awakened.
Cool vid man, been pumping em out!! Ima have to disagree this time around im afraid but cool vid as i say. Only hitos can truly awaken imo;) lucci included
Could it be Snakemans Scarf was there because he was ready to use Awakening but didn’t understand what he could do. Like how Zoro is this strong and is only now using CoC? Nobody ever introduced it to him and he doesn’t understand it. When he stopped fighting Enma it showed him the way.
During his fight with Kaido Luffy attempt to stuff the steam back into his body claiming it was energy. Perhaps the God scarf is symbolic to the necessary duality of Haki used to make ones devil fruit stronger.
For Xebec to seem the good guy you have to assume he wasnt a blood thirsty power hungry baddie who is obviously a bad looking guy. I mean, Kaido Big Mom and Whitebeard followed this guy… so I am actually inclined to believe Xebec wasnt all that of a crazy psycho straight up
In terms of pre time skip zoans - the impel down guards were taken over by their zoan fruits, so that’s probably why they don’t have god scarves. Chopper, meanwhile (in my headcanon currently), was able to artificially awaken his fruit with the rumble ball. I believe if he were to ever fill awaken his hito hito no mi, he would not only gain the scarf, but be able to transform into monster point with ease
I think the whole "Awakening is when DF and the user's in sync" plays an important role here. Luffy, an absolute free man, has the fruit of ultimate liberator. Yamato, who tries to inherits Oden in protecting Wano, has a DF of Wano's protector deity. Lucci, a sadistic a-hole, has a DF of a verocious animal. Kaido didn't reach awakening because he's a depressive, war mongering, brutal and bloodthirsty a-hole yet own the DF that symbolized east and spring, basically a peotector of sort.
Kaido was straight up referred to as a protector by the people of Wano. And Kaido being in Wano was straight up why the WG did not feel they could take it.
@@mrbubbles6468 i know that's how WG sees Kaido, but i don't think Wano's citizen would declared someone that have enslaved them as their 'protector'. That's more like how WG thought what the Wano people thought. Unless ofc if i skipped them in the chapters

Maybe Momo Could Awaken His Fish-Fish Fruit
For Momo, nothing illustrates the koi climbing the waterfall than what he has done as a child. The dragon does fit him well
This theory makes sense because if you are not able to rally people behind you, get them to completely trust and believe that you cannot lose, then the fruit would be useless.
Always a pleasure to listen to tour thoughts process, thank you!
i dont remember if it happened in manga but in anime when luffy turned old its like it effected kaido as he stumbled and had to brace himself
If neither jailers nor monster point have a scarf, that might mean you only get a scarf if you awaken properly - if you rush it and turn into a mindless beast, no scarf.
Chopper eventually controlled it, which is why I didnt say this. But you never know
Chopper still needs a drug to access his awakened powers. So it's possible that this lack of mastery is an important point.
Fans: Oda planned put everything!
Oda: I’ve literally gone on record saying I don’t and make it up as I go.
Fans: PLANNED OUT EVERYTHING!
Amazing video! Came to pretty much the same conclusions as you. Keep them videos coming!
Ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeee just got to work perfect
LET HIM COOK.
I really liked this one. There was a good internal consistency here thematically and with the story. *sniff wine* and a hint of cedar undertones. Delicious.
Thank you for making good content to watch while I eat ☝️🙏
Enel restated his own heart with his devil fruit after dying as well…
my editor caught that as well, but my point was the ability is specific devil fruit related
Luffy having friends at all the places he’s been is intentional on Oda’s behalf as when luffy faces off against imu and the world government, his strength will power up massively from the entire world singing and dancing to the drums of liberation to cheer him on as they pray to the sun god for their liberation from the world government
Love this, maybe we can see a smaller scale to this with either bonnie or kuma since they know what the drums of liberation sound like
Sakura tended to appear in great amounts throughout the island (particularly in spots where characters were seeing action) when Hiyori's Shreddin Shamisen Solo was blastin'! There was falling and flowing Sakura when Oden was in the 'Hot-pot', and when Yasuie was getting crucified too; I'm sure there's more examples
Your take on the Nika fruit is very cool. It had a couple of very nice angles. I appreciate it =] I'll be getting a copy of your book eventually.
Luffy’s DF is so underpowered that Kaido was not even Awakened and could still tank it like a boss.
This video feels like you pulled the thoughts from my brain, and made it into a video.
Not really, because Don Flamingo's fruit was awakened, and he did not have a "God scarf." Hopefully, Oda will inform us on this in the future.
Only awakened mythical zoans have the scarf around their heads I believe. Doflamingo had a paramecia
@jonathanlord6213 explain Lucci and Kaku's scarf, then. Their fruits are not mythical. Also, Oda never stated that. However, it could be a possibility.
Just awakened zoans don’t have to be mythical
@@Ghost251_pa Lucci and Kaku are both zoan devil fruit users. That scarf only appears for Zoan devil fruits. Doflamingo is a paramecia devil fruit user therefore no scarf.
@ultimatedumbass4640 only one problem with your theory. The jail beasts were awakened, and they were Zoan. None of them had a God scarf.
I trully believe you have to die to awaken your zoan fruit. When you die, the spirit and will of the zoan fruit takes hold of your being and you become one. And then, there are two possible outcomes:
Big fan of your theories 🎉
thank you ☠
I see your point about a Kaido/Luffy rematch JB but I have to point out that not once did Kaido protect himself with armament Haki, a non-suicidal Kaido isnt losing to Luffy let alone anyone else outside of Shanks and MAYBE Blackbeard
It's probably why Kaido kept trying to off himself; convinced that it's the only way to "activate" the Joyboy in his heart 😁
Absolute fire theories continue lezgooo!!!
Enel has the things on his back that resemble the clouds, which probably represent that you are god/deity-like
Momonosuke awakening the dragon makes perfect sense from another perspective too- Having a character use a power we’ve already seen in this detail would be awkward.
The fact that the D in will of D and the D in intial D could be both dream makes me very happy
JB: Luffy is composed of freedom
The Americans liked that
Well maybe having the cloud scarf for regular and ancient zoans means that they are able to control their awakenings.
Never noticed the parallel between Oden holding up the scabbards and Denjiro sparing Hiyori from having to kill Orochi!
Man been cooking these last few weeks
If this concept were to be true, then MORGANS and the REV ARMY play a major role.
@joyboytheories what is the song you use in this video at the start?
I'm glad you tackled the awakening problem. People treat me like I'm crazy whenever I say that Kaido didn't awaken. Or that it's at least not confirmed. And I was one of the people who just didn't believe the battle was over. Because I was waiting for his awakening. Or at least confirmation that he can't awaken.
never forget that is still some dude writing and sketching all this amazingness
23:44 I feel attacked here😂❤️
The dope thing about the anime is how close they work with oda and his manga staff to enhance the story of the manga and to hit points that aren’t capable in manga form. Why the one piece anime has so few filler episodes
Back when it was up in the air what his awakening would be, I thought that "joyboy returning" had some specific requirements. Bink's sake and the dawn held and still hold hints we don't know the full extent of.
I personally thought it would be something like :
1. Land of Wano (be it because of the ancient weapon, ancient traditions, old allies, specifics of a promise)
2. Has to happen during the fire festival (which in itself looks like a massive ceremony to contact the dead)
3. Have a person who survived death guide Joyboy's soul to his avatar (ffs goda give brook the spotlight for once)
4. Avatar has to be a D, because the the dying smile is the portal to Joyboy. ((and the reason why D's smile upon dying is because they are giving Joyboy a chance to use their bodies as an avatar)
5. Avatar may also have to have the Hito Hito No Mi
As for the awakenings, I think it's just Oda not ironing out all the itty bitty details, which is fine, Keeping a tight ship for almost 30 years, it's ok to forgive a few holes here and there.
>Implying Oda is human
That is clearly a Fishman
This is actually a really amazing Theory...and it ties in to how imu might be the nightmare form feeding off of despair and fear
It's for sure going to be buggy that convinces the world at large not to accidentally a genocide
1:20 Yamato's cuffs can't be sea stone cuffs, not only Luffy can crush them with haki, he also wasn't weaken by them, she also has way too much control and skills with the fruit ability if she had never used them before.
That is one KILLER thumbnail
I wonder if Saturn said " You're the type of crew who sticks together" because joyboy's crew didn't
There’s definitely something there
Keep up the amazing work
I am trying 😅
Shirahoshi had a god scarf. Shirahoshi is a human with an awakened mermaid fruit that can swim confirmed.
When you said One Piece here I heard it “One Peace” I don’t know why but I think there may be a plot twist like laugh tale name!
23:35
I think what people seem to miss is that that Kaido has a fish fruit. I personally believed his dragon form was the awakening and up till that point he was basically a magikarp. I know the model is “whatever” dragon but similar to luffy’s fruit, the model was “Nika” but he was unable to even access the powers of the name until he awakened
IMO, death looks like a criteria for human-mythical Zoan awakenings... at least I think the idea of losing your humanity once would make it cool... but it's whatever Oda says.
That luffy theory is exactly what I thought was happening think I put something like that in a comment section on one of your last videos or tekking 🤣
I like this idea paired with the idea of the Lucci vs Laffy fight. With ussops desire causes hum to get up to fulfill their dreams
It would’ve been nice for him to say it tho
Okay you have to keep in mind that he isn't just a dragon he's a fish.
His fruit specifically is from a Japanese folklore about koi swimming up a waterfall and being rewarded once they reached the top for their determination. Now could be said that Kaido's dream of a might makes right society matches the ideals of the fruit but Kaido's true dream was to die. Kaido didn't want to reach the top he wanted someone who was aiming for the top to end his life. So I don't think Kaido was a true match for the spirit of his fruit and probably wasn't awakened.
Does everyone forget that Kaido’s Dragon Form has a scarf? He just doesn’t have a scarf in Hybrid Form.
lol some of these theories have been pretty crackpot recently. I knew was I was getting into when I clicked on it though, and I’m here for it.
I always just assumed he was a goldfish zoan until he awakened.
I think the Sakura blossoms are a representation of Haki blossoms in extreme situations
Great video!!! Made a lot of sense what you said!! 🇧🇷🇧🇷
Like the scarf is the sign of adulthood
I think you should put shorts that are like trailer of your main videos. Kinda like ad for your theories.
yes.
Joyboy is the goat at dropping deep theories with substance
What if death is a form of freedom, and it was the enlightenment that he needed for his mind to catch up with his devil fruit.
