To get the extra costume you need to Successfully complete the game to unlock Rin's costume [I believe under normal] and Ayame's original costume from Tenchu 3: Wrath Of Heaven. Additionally, collect 1,600 scrolls to unlock Ayame's original costumes from Tenchu: Stealth Assassins and Tenchu 2: Birth Of The Assassins.
If you beat all the bosses in the bonus mode which I forgot the name, under a certain time, you get to fight 2 Ayame at the same time, if you win the fight you unlock both Ayame's costumes from Tenchu 1 and 2 without having to grind all the scrolls
there a code to you play with ayame on tutorial mode is something similar on ninja armor cutscenes choose a task while hold L1 i only did this once to see her enhanced Stealth Double kills on tutorial mode
I'm still playing this game on PS2, even I'd finished it many times. Kind a lil disappointed, cause the cheat not included unlimited item & quantity like Tenchu 3 wrath of heaven. So many blind spot with the corners and plants leaves in many missions. Both the medium & hardest level not balanced with more item & qty supply for players yet the villains get more aggressive in both level.😅 Sure, stealth is essential part in enjoying this game, but without enough select item & qty, you got to be veryyyy patiently wait or you got to have a magic moves to kill the villain guards.
