Definitely. Games back in the day used to be complete and you unlocked everything without paying for nothing. Just using your efforts!
Games were also alot smaller.
And game can also be hacked as well, in case you forgot.
That left a lot of problems as well
I don't agree with DLC and loot boxes of nowadays games, but do you really prefer games to be hacked and cracked like the old days?
I can name you dozen of problems with hacked games
I would consider beyond the portal Episode as an DLC in today's Standards.
Tesshu Fujioka is an underrated stealth game character. The fact that he's a doctor with knowledge about human body's pain and assassin with raw power enough to mess your skeleton, makes him even more brutal and scarier than Rikimaru or Ayame. He's aways be my favorite early PS2 game character, I think it would be awesome if they make a Tesshu solo game

Oooh Yeah a Doc Tissue play through 😁. This guy is my favourite character in all of the tenchu. The doc can do it all, chiropractic treatment, acupuncture, and even open heart surgery on the fly 😁👍

Tesshu is fun to play and he has the most brutal stealth kill animation ( he's doctor btw) but because he lacks of combo a boss fight is a bit trickier, i keep spamming a 'O' button and just headbutt the hell of them

Yeah, Tesshu's story is too short. Another thing I found it weird is why they removed the drag body mechanics from Wrath of Heaven and they added in Return from Darkness? Did they forgot to put in the game? Because i remember this mechanic was present on Tenchu 2

Honestly I would love this on next gen consoles but my worry would be that they would want to get there sticky hands involved and want micro transactions for skins, items, lvls and what ever eles nonsense they can think of..
My favourite ninja game series hands down nothing compares to it. Any thing we have today stems from this and shinobi from Sega
