I recommend doing the exact opposite of what this video says and that is to disable the touchscreen all together. These cameras have a beautiful hybrid EVF/OVF that you should be using to frame your shots. You'll find the touchscreen focus function will become very annoying as your face and fingers are constantly accidentally moving it around.
@@airbazooI accidentally dropped my Fujifilm X100VI from the coffee table but I thoroughly explained it and not a mark on it but I wonder if the following is normal regarding the Optical/Electronic Viewfinder Selector Lever, when I look through the viewfinder and flip the lever, it works perfectly but when I hold the camera well away from my face and flip the lever it doesn't always work, can you all try it, point the camera at certain things and plus the ceiling and flip the lever, does the optical/electronic viewfinder Selector only work when you have your eye up to the eye viewfinder and sensor.
Is there any general consensus on a lens hood? I don't want to get multiple. There are the square ones that bend inward, square ones that flare outward, circular ones, etc. I like the look of the squares that expand outward away from the lens.

Really nice video. Do you like the x100VI camera a lot so far? I thought about the Sony A7cii and geting a 40mm and also a 24mm so sony lens, but the camera you have is cheaper. For street is what Iam looking for. I have a canon r5, but it is kind of big and canon dont have a nice small lens maybe. So you like this camera best? Heard it has same lens as previous model so not sure if the sensor and lens resolves the megapixels effectively or not, how good the quality is? Weight looks nice for street compared to canon r5 with lens. Do you shoot jpg, heif or compressed raw? Is heif good or not supported much? Guess the fujifilm film simulations import into lightroom if shooting conpressed raw. Is it slow if shooting while using the simulation s? Do you shoot Velvia simulation, Portra 160 Portra 800, Lomo 400 or what do you like for street? Any things you dislike about the canera and would you buy it again if you didn’t have it?

Just a few pointers: 1- Easy with the hand shaking to emphasize your point of view. It irritates the eye. 2- A bearded guy with such a delicate manicure sends mixed messages. 3- Make sure when you are pointing right or left hand items. 4- GO OUT and use it!! Come back later and show the results.
