What’s with the titles? The content and interviews are good, “Keegan is different” is fine - but “Dylan opens up about his relationship with Keegan”? Makes it sound like they had a torrid affair
Even before listening I know this will be a great episode! Two honest open cycling athlete aficionados who both have capabilities that put them at the competitive level to witness first hand and appreciate the greatness of those at the top. 300-400 watts continuous output and yet knowing the Swansons of the world have another level altogether. Such a valuable perspective.
Keegan never flats, never has a mechanical, and is never nursing an injury. Lachlan is the exact opposite. I am a huge fan of both, but Lachlan always has something going on. The cleanest race he had was Unbound last year when everything went well until they hit the finishing chute. Folks sadi he was the strongest but he had bad luck in the chute. The chute was a mess. I was standing there watching.
This post just aged a bit 😂
@@kevinw3621 Yes it did! But when I finished, just a very little after him (hours), and saw that he had won I yelled in delight! If you had told me he flatted and then caught back on and went on to win, I would have believed it!
@@gttim fwiw you did pretty astonishing - especially given you were filming!! I am a nitpicky twit .. (who cannot ride at the moment).. good work!!!
Dylan grabbed 5th at Midsouth yesterday....he's amazing. Love the channel
Maybe Dylan wants to stop commenting on Laughlan Mortan as his comments haven't aged well with Laughlan just winning unbound with Keegan in 15th.
Who is Laughlan Mortan?
To see Dylan in action go to Drew Dillman's midsouth video at 1:02, he sits on as Dylan closes the gap, this is incredible to watch
This aged well, and Anthony maybe win some amateur races in Ireland before talking smack about an Unbound winner .
UA-cam fools x2
Fyi, Lachlan had an issue with his back @ cape epic.
I was honestly surprised at how poorly Keegan did at the Cape Epic last year and the year before, considering how dominant he was in the Life Time Grand Prix, in particular the mtb events. Is it purely down to a better teammate? 8 days of tough mtb stage racing looks to be a different beast though. Matt Beers has dominated the Epic in recent years, with various partners who all look weaker than him at the Epic, but are as good or better than him in in the LTGP. Really keen to see Dylan try the Epic, though! His prep and setup videos alone would be worth it!
Smoked everyone in unbound . Lachlan did the fastest time as well . How can u ride like close to 22 mph for 200 miles in gravel. I wonder what pogs could do in unbound if unleashed
Interesting that what AH describes at EF is almost exactly like what Phil Gaimon described about his experience in one of his books.
Cape epic is the best race in the world…. Would love to see swinny there with Blevins. Anyways ML has thrashed everyone’s arse at unbound
Well, I thought Dylan was coming out with that title. (yes, I checked with my lawyer before making this comment)
Where do they talk about their relationship?
They might be great guys but AH was bounced around by EF because he wasn’t doing the team any good on the bike and LM hasn’t been competitive at World Tour level for years either!
'world tour level'; 'gravel' racers don't like hearing that...
Great convo! Get em, DJ
I wonder when will Dylan get tired of trying to win with nutrition and bike mods only ... and starts taking EPO and PEDs
lol sad but somehow also true :D
PED’s don’t turn donkeys into racehorses
You mean apart from 25 hours a week training?
