The 6 series is just a timeless piece. Im guessing the 8 series will also follow suit in being timeless. The 6 and the 8 is a body style that is way ahead of their time. The 6 series is a car that you can buy and get away with it being told its a 2023 car when its actually a 14 this is also true for the g11 2016 750
8 has the 6 cylinder I want (b58) but the 6 is the best car to look at. It’s just beautiful. The ideal package is a 6 series gran coupe with a B58 swap

@@MatthewParksSr Compare 6 series before 2011 and after, considerable change. The 8 series now is like the 6 series during the few years before 2011. I'm really not happy with the current design. I daily a 640i LCI grand coupe so happy to wait it out or just get an i8.
@@Anythingyoulike2013 interesting. There has been a lot of interest from BMW in the 4 coupe. They are nice. I have a friend with one and she loves it. I told her when she ready for a playdate with the big brother, holla at me.
@@MatthewParksSr I think the 8 series is too tall to be a dign replacement of a 6 series. Look how awful the 6 series looks now, can't even put that in the same realm, they sold out the series and turned what used to be their comfort Sports car and turned it into an SUV. Just as in the trunk on the 8 series, they are deperately trying to get the SUV boring people to buy an expensive sports car by giving them a spacious back. I'm praying for the invention of a 9 series for SUVs if the X series is not enough to these people, so we can finally have a can that is just focused on being a gorgeous sports car like the AMG GT coupe is trying to be
@@AlexandreG Hmm... I like the 8 series Coupe better than the 6 series coupe and the 6 series Gran coupe better than the 8 series Gran Coupe. I think. I am making a video comparing the my 8 coupe the 6 Gran coupe. I just haven't time.

The 8 series only has a better front end than the six and better interior because it’s modern
6 series so much prettier, 8 series look bloated especially in the front...Im actually shopping for another car and am considering the 650i xdrive or a cls 63s amg...probably will end up getting both, dilema is which one to get first lol

6 series discontinued?
BMW discontinued the 6 series in the 2018 model year. The 8 series was a replacement. Contrary to what believe, the 8 is not a rebadged 6 series.

Regarding the six Grand Coupe versus the 8 Grand Coupe, I don't know it's kind of a push. Recordingly six Coupe versus the eight coupe, there's no competition. The 8 coupe is better.
@@MatthewParksSr The old 8 series is still amazing to look at now. The current 8 series coupe may as well be a glorified 4 series.

Exactly, 8 coupe is much nicer looking than 6 coupe, 6 Gcoupe is nicer than 8 gc in my opinion. 8 gc looks weird from the side.

Generationally, they're closer I'd say more father and son. Get chassis are technically different so I wouldn't say as close as Big brother to little brother.
