This one brought back some of my own cross-country traveling experiences. My partner was one to let that fuel gadge slip to nail biting range. This was before smart anything. Interstate road signs and Rand McNally were the tools we relied on.
Hope the Empire state treats you well. Maybe the ladies will get a taste of snow while visiting the northeast.

Love watching your videos. We have been on the road for 1.5 yrs now and also have a cat on a leash. So many people are surprised to see that. We mainly stay at cracker barrels along our route trough the US. Keep the videos coming.
Cracker Barrel’s are kinda our go to especially on long drives!

Congrats on reaching 48 states! Wonderful video as always, you guys make cross country traveling look effortless and enjoyable. One of us also has to be the primary driver due to motion sickness. Back in the early 2000s my wife and I drove from WA state to FL (then back again a year and a half later). We saw a lot of the same countryside that you experienced. I enjoyed the drive and your video brought back good memories.

In the Interstate Highway System, there are no I-50 or I-60, as routes with those numbers would likely pass through states that currently have US Highways with the same numbers, which is generally disallowed under highway administration guidelines.

@@scarletandseth You're welcome! There is an Interstate highway that's mostly in Wisconsin, with a 0.9 mile southernmost section in Illinois called I-41 that's concurrent with the US highway of the same number.

ahaha, I see you guys gave the people what they want and Seth drove for a bit 😂. Long road trips can be rough. I’ve driven from Florida to New York straight and again a few years laters from Austin to Florida. The first trip actually wasn’t bad and roughest part was actually finding parking in Brooklyn, but the second trip although shorter distance almost took me out, lol - no more driving without stop overs anymore
Yeah these long trips are certainly interesting. Haha gotta give the people what they want and prove that I physically can in fact drive 😂😂

Im so curious - how do you keep a good temperature in the van for your kitties when you're away/not in there with them? Thanks in advance!😊
We have a fan, partition wall that regulates the temperature a lot, and won’t leave them if it’s over 80 degrees outside. 😊 We also do have AC in the van and we will turn it on if it’s pretty warm out and we are leaving for a quick trip.
2.79 is not cheep gas. It's just less expensive.

I love you guys video, though it was so uncomfortable to watch the lady do all the driving. Even after mentioning that she had a headache, she yarning but Seth continued to loved more on the cat.
I believe they have said before that Scarlet gets car sick when she is in the passenger seat, so she actually prefers to drive.
Yeah this is accurate. Even later in the video when I did drive Scarlet did not feel as good and that’s why we switched again before the end.
What is the litter box situation for the ladies. I have to clean my cat's litter box as soon as he's done bc it's in my room and I can't deal with the smell for long.
I guess being in such a small space you guys have some kind of venting system. But when yall clean it where does it go. I mean it not like there is a dumping ground readily available every time they go.

We do have vents in in and we use pretty litter which significantly reduces the smell. Female cats also don’t smell as bad I don’t think so that could be part of it. We clean in once every day or two and that seems to work well!
How is everbody so rich ?
We spent 3 years building 11 other vans for other people and living in our 2005 low roof van the whole time to be able to afford this van and build (which we did completely ourselves). Now our total spending is about $1300 a month or so. We really don’t have to make that much money to sustain this lifestyle at this point but it’s something we’ve spent the last 5 years working very hard to achieve.
I still don't believe he can drive.
