Walmart is closed at 11pm but theres at least 50 plus people in that store, cleaning and stocking. Its the safest place to stealth camp. and Local PD checks the parking lot at least twice a night. Idaho is called the GEM State. ITs a hidden Gem!!! I love my Idaho...the place is chill, Idahoans are chill and we have lots of potatoes lol!

Hey Rosa!! new subscriber, YT suggested this video. You mentioned in the video that your window washer fluid is frozen, and can't clean the window.. Gas stations usually have (here anyway) the winter fluid and a squeegee right next to each gas pump, if not then can get a spray bottle and put winter washer fluid in it n spray the window n turn the wipers on, or can even just throw a few handfulls of snow on the window n turn the wipers on. 😉

Washerfluid tank can crack from freezing. I would put some undiluted winter fluid to the washer tank. It might unfreeze if you keep engine running long enough or drive someplace warm.
Yes I do Walmart, Love's truck stop & Pilot truck stop.i have done cracker barrel's also! I sleep 😴 like a rock 🎉 so even if I got the knock I wouldn't hear it😅 happy trails to y'all I hope when I get another vehicle so I can get to some of those hot springs

I stealthed camped at a Walmart in Pennsylvania! It was fine! But I really actually enjoyed the truck stops, because of the 24/7 food, toilets, showers, etc ... Be safe out there Rosa! The desert says w'sup?!🏜️....And I kid you not, I got a very nice suntan going!🌞😆

The one and only time I tried camping in a hotel parking lot. I had just laid down and then looked to my right and saw a guy from the third floor window staring at me. This was before I used window covers. But I ended up at a Walmart after that!
Even Walmart had me looking over my shoulder, or under my window block. Much easier to sleep at rest stops. I ran my Toyota Tacoma for nearly 2 years straight.
I live in a mini-van during the workeek because there is no affordable housing within 1 hours commute of my Seattle job and I hate long commutes. I find residential streets are the best place to sleep their are quieter and alittle safer. The trick is you don't go to the residential street until dusk, you black out the windows, you don't make excessive noise and you never leave any trash. It helps that I have a 6 am job and leave the residential street no later than 5:30 am before alot of people wake up. I wouldn't park in a neighborhood with alot of mansions or a really run down crime ridden neighborhood but most neighborhoods are fine. The problem with the rich neighborhoods is you have snooty Ken's and Karen's that don't need to work and spend their time critiquing others. In a normal working class neighborhood alot of people are too busy working to care, they have better ways to spend their limited free time. I wouldn't park right in front of someone's big living room window either. Thankyou although for talking about Wallmart parking sometimes that is a good option and is nice to park in one spot every few days not having to go to a different street every night.

I have not done any parking lots yet. I've been parking in front of the same low-rise apartments for several months 🙃. Today, there is a no parking ban in effect for the snow. So, I have to figure out the next couple of nights.

Unless otherwise posted, Walmart is always ok with car camping as far as I know. Not sure if it’s still the case, but Sam Walton was big into RV camping and actually made that a tenet of how Walmart locations should operate.
It's changed a lot. Especially since walmarts stopped being 24 hours and also recently someone died in a walmart parking lot. They still say it's location by location and you have to get approval from the store manager, but a lot have signs saying no overnight parking now...
I miss idaho. I could tell by the mountains thats where you are. I used to live there. I grew up in Post Falls. I recently moved to Florida a couple months ago, most likely moving to Massachusetts in a couple weeks.
I don't understand why parking lots are so strict on overnight parking. They should welcome people like you to stay overnight. At least Walmart has been good to you❤

when I was driving a truck I would just pull over at an overpass and park usually on an incline. All night 7-11 or big truck stops like Pilot and Flying Js. Being a member of planet fitness I can to anyone of them across the nation and shower for free but 23 a month membership. Staying on the road most of the day is planned around meals and toileting. Since you are in snow just put a big scoop in a cup and cleaner than any bottled water.
I live in my car because it makes me happy! I like the freedom of being able to go anywhere 🥰 and I work seasonal jobs at national parks and now I'm trying out youtube!
