My hair care routine is one of the most HIGHLY REQUESTED videos on my channel so here it is 😅 You guys always have questions about how I've grown my hair so long and how I maintain it so in this video I spill all my favourite products and easy tips for stronger hair. I think the tips are very easy to implement into your own routines and I hope you find something that works for you ~
UPDATE i’ve seen a lot of comments about me putting conditioner on my scalp and it looks like i forgot to mention that i have dry roots LMAO. that is why i put conditioner on my scalp! if i don’t my hair feels weird and this is just what has always worked for me. please do your own research/experiments & see what works for you and your hair type because at the end of the day we’re all different (:

1. Trim your hair every so often
2. Wash hair once a week or when it gets oily, the natural oils your scalp makes actually helps hair growth so only wash it when it becomes noticeable
3. Aragon oil and coconut oil help your hair
4. Brush hair before shower, makes it easier to work products in
5. Shower with lukewarm water, too hot or too cold can lead to frizzy hair in her experience
6. Three lines worth of shampoo, lines across three of your fingers
7. Scrub shampoo into hair vertically or horizontally, not in circles, this can lead to breakage
8. Leave shampoo in for 5 minutes
9. Use four finger lines of conditioner, two for scalp and two for the rest
10. Massage the conditioner in for 6 to 8 minutes, help to promote hair growth
11. Cotton shirt to dry hair, softer and more gentle than a towel to prevent breakage
12. Use a wet brush to brush hair after showering because the bristles are more flexible and soft to prevent breakage
13. Blow-dry hair around 60% and rarely use other heat on hair
14. Diff products in the summer vs. winter 4:16
15. Try to use silk products like silk pillows and silk scrunchies

Yeah, that can be true. But that's also a pretty limiting mindset. With oiling, low maintenance, having a daily routine, a good diet, good health, protective styles, supplements/MSM powder....if GOD wills, you will have long, healthy hair.
@@peachmilk833 i enjoy look to beautiful hair - of others - and i really care of mine itself, and i know how much i can expect like results.. but think "if you really keep trying hard and follow all the rule for it you get it" in many field (diet, aestetic, hair, success) it can be hurtful and started a sick mindet of "if you dont get it, its because you dont try enough" -i hope everyone out there take care and love themself beyond results (or hair emprovements haha)

Don't wash your hair everyday. Washing it once or twice a week is best.

@@unniejihyo3647 i lived in tropical country too and u certainly can train ur hair, just put it in a ponytail if it gets too oily. Starting with washing ur hair every other day. Removing dry shampoo from ur hair routine helps quite a bit, save ur money and hair

@@unniejihyo3647 I asked my cousin who is a trichologist, and she said it's ok to wash your hair everyday. But you need to avoid to using hot water. She said it's very bad to wash your hair only once in a week if you have oily hair.

I love how simple this routine is and how much you focus on preventing damage rather then giving some miracle tips which won't work for everyone! In the end, good genes + extremely limited heat styling + no dyeing + daily damage prevention is the best best best thing for ur hair

You might also have curly or wavy hair. When your hair is wet does it have waves or curls but goes frizzy when it dries?

@@hazelle__gardenia I have a tip for you eat a lot of fruits everyday it doesn't have to be really a lot but eat at least one orange or apple everyday and your nails are gonna be so strong I did it my nail when I did try to break them just for testing if it works and they just didn't break hehe 😂 try it out believe me 😊

I’ve usually perfered short hair-probably because my dad always liked keeping my hair long, but recently I’ve started to see the beauty in long hair. I’m starting to see more and more beauty in it!
that’s exactly what happened to me! my dad never let me cut my hair above my mid-back, so after i became an adult, i’ve always kept it very short. now i think i’m going to grow it out, but not for him. it’s just for me :)

My hair grows super fast now because I be chopped it to shoulder length every august for 5 years straight and so now it grows crazy fast. It’s grown at least 8 inches since last november ish. I’ve also started taking way better care of my hair (not using tight hairstyles, using braids in my hair at night, not washing my hair every day, oiling my hair, and brushing gently, and no heat).
I definitely advise getting yearly trims or haircuts. It’s helped me so much. This is the first august I haven’t cut my hair, and I’m letting it grow out another year. I expect it will be to butt length by at least March. Right not it’s at like the bottom of mrs shoulder blades.

I also leave my shampoo in for 5 minutes! I find that it helps with controlling oil and keeping the dandruff away! I kept seeing videos about people who scrub and rinse, saying it doesn't do anything if you let it sit, but I'm glad I came across your video!

I’m glad I came across this video! I’ve always had reallyyy thick and long hair (knee length) despite cutting it often. I never really did anything special but it’s always remained healthy. Alittle tip after finishing the last wash of hair and body I would use a bottle of mineral water or Alkaline water on my hair and body to eliminate any chemicals that was in the shower water I do the same after washing my face it made my skin and hair much healthier and shinier, you can add a few drops of Arugula oil to the water on your hair it’s brilliant in adding a magical healthy shine and protection for hair ends. Also worth mentioning that a home made rice and coconut milk hair and even body mask twice a month is recommended.

idk about yall but i honestly feel like 90% of the time its just the genetics that does the work. I know old batchmates of mine who keeps their hair long yet maintain to be healthy looking despite their unhealthy habits like poor diet and lack of sleep. For my case my hair is naturally wavy and currently my hair is wolf cut but the tip is already at my hips. I eat healthy and drink water as much as i can, i was my hair every 2 days, i always wash my hands before touching my hair and make sure not to play with it a lot, i also use a hydrating conditioner and use coconut oil, and most importantly i make sure i never lack sleep. The weather in my country sucks its always so hot but i only go out if i need to. No matter what i do my hair is still dry af. If i keep on trimming it then it wouldnt grow at my desired long length. Then i realized that my mom has dry hair and so does the rest of my siblings.
I think a hair care routine is extremely important. My hair is classic Length (just under my bum). I did a hair wash routine on my Channel a few days ago and I can't believe how heavy it is. BTW I love your hair Hemline!! ❤️
We should never put conditioner on our scalp cuz it's only for the length it will make your scalp greasy and flat and we have shampoo to clean our scalp.😊

I have very long thick wavy hair about the same length as yours. And I also use OGX! I was curious about trying other brands like function of beauty because it was a bit more expensive so I assumed it would be better for my hair. However the reviews were not the greatest. I’m glad someone with healthy long hair like you is using the same hair care as me. I think I’ll be sticking to OGX thanks!!

Diet is really important, as is genetics. I've used almost all her products and my hair ever grew past shoulder length lol (and it was different texture and quality from hers)
whenever i watch this kind of videos, i always feel two things. first, regret. second, envy. because i cut my hair short.

Its not like i saying this selfish way..i m just sharing....so i have so long hair(more then thigh length) when i go out i have to transform my hair into ponytail sooo it will look short...but still they only reduce 4 inch of length...even though i cant do any other hairstyles....cant go out with hairs....open...and some people even touch directly to look if its real..and asked me "is it wig" and i say ya...its just a wig...its bcz i love long hair....lol.. sometimes i also want to cut all my hair but at the same time i don't want to bcz its from our ancestors.....and u know what wherever i go i go with hair bun....😐i just want to say all of u that... I just saw this now even tho it was 1yr ago my is complaining abt my hair being bad and having dandruff. This really helpful I cold show my mum this and she won’t have to complain. You’re amazing I love your tips and your personality is amazing aswell thank you
omg, Small story time : I left my hair up to my lower back and one day as I was trying to put my puffer coat on my hair was everywhere and my I struggled putting my bag onto my shoulder so when I got home I decided to pull out some scissors (hair dresser scissors since my auntie is a hairdresser and she sent my mom some scissors all that jazz) and I just chopped it up to my shoulders 🤗 It was an impulse but haha
