We know :) but even with good genetics, the care you do for your hair really defines it. It's about making them look best at their healthiest. She obviously puts effort to keep them healthy over time and it definitely wouldn't look all smooth like that if she didn't take care of it, genetics or not.
@@di.sage725 yeah but still... genetics are the prior reason why her hair looks like this. I have a friend who just washes her hair in head and shoulders and nothing else and she has nice shiny hair and while I use gentle shampoos, different masks, conditioners, oils, leave ins and still my hair looks like crap so 😅
Well diet is also really important, eating healthy, drinking enough water and be stress free make a big difference too. Genetic is not everything.... sometimes people say that only because they don't want to put that much effort into their lifestyle. Your hairs, nails, skin can tell you how healthy or not you are

I went from having hair like yours to thinning stringy hair, thinning brows, and lash fallout. It's been so soul crushing, but I am now going to start receiving treatment. I know my hair will never be back the way it was, but I'm hopeful my hair will be healthy again. Our hair is a good indicator of our health. Please everyone take care of yourselves!
So sorry to hear that, my mom also has hyperthyroidism and has been on medication for it for awhile. Along with her taking serious care of her scalp and health,, her hair and brows have grown back. I'm hoping for the same recovery for you
Your hair will recover completely and even moreso if you take vit d 10,000 iu once a week. (Ask ur doc for a prescription). Along with thyroid support your hair will come back thicker and stronger within just a month or so!❤❤❤❤
Not only is your hair incredibly long and healthy, but it's also so thick. I think my hair is thick and healthy, but your hair makes me downright jealous, in a good way! Sounds like I can learn a thing or two from your routine.
Of all the hair care videos I watched, yours gave the most information per minute. You stay focused on what you want to talk about, don't force yourself to emote, and it's clear you know what you're doing.
I have seen no of people sharing their own bits of routine but maturity is when you realize that it's a whole lifestyle genes food excercise and remidies....
Am I the only one that is super ecstatic this girl is still making epic videos about her hair secrets? I'm trying to grow my hair out and obviously you seem like you have some viable information to help. Thanks!!
Using the dropper to "inject" the oil unto the scalp is GENIUS!! I have watched so may videos where they section the hair and apply to each section... to me time that's so time consuming and tedious. I am so glad you shared this.
If you guys have a problem washing out the oil, you can use a conditioner for the first wash. It kinda binds with the oil so it's easier to wash next with a tiny bit of diluted shampoo. Use something without silicones as you need to massage it on your scalp too. Hope it helps!
So I used to have mid back length hair, then I discovered her channel! Her bad hair day was my best hair day! I tried like one of her routine and it's been like a year and now my hair is like tailbone length, so from then I started following her routines!
@@kirannathani9123 well i didn't try a remedy, but i tried her routine, i tried her oil routine i used coconut or castor oil, and i also tried her hair washing routine and along with that, i also apply hairpacks 1 hour before i wash hair, you can search hair pack remedies on youtube to get hair pack remedies, and i just try to take as much care as possible to my hair!

I would love to see a daily routine too. It is genetics but healthy hair is still a goal. Whether you get to her length or damn near. 4 years ago I started oiling and taking care of my hair and now its almost touching my butt XD mine isn't nearly as thick as hers but I'm going to play with diet and more oils and see how it does and does it improve. If not my hair is mermaid length for me XD
@@lindseycastillo1133 No just genetics. How you care for what you get is important. Biotin & Zinc & Vitamin E are essential supplements for strong healthy hair. A diet that includes plenty of Beta Carotene (beets!) as well as collagens (beef bone broth, or collagen powder) will indeed strengthen your hair.
Yes my hair is maybe not thin but quite fine. Definitely thinner than Sarah’s. I’ve had it as long as mid back length before, and it just looks thin and stringy :/ I keep thinking I need to be patient with it and try more things to encourage thicker growth. I know so much is genetics, but I also get tired of it and chop it off lol.
I wouldn’t recommend brushing your hair immediately after oiling. Use your fingers to distribute the oil towards the ends of your hair. My hair fell out in clumps when ever i used a brush. For the longest time i couldn’t figure out why then i discovered hair follicles are the weakest after massaging the scalp hence more prone to fall out/breakage.
You have to realize though that everyone has different hair. Hers might be stronger than yours, considering her extremely healthy diet and all the high quality products she uses on her hair. Also, consider the brush she uses...it's a wooden brush that is known to be gentle on the hair and prevents breakage.
Grapeseed oil is amazing if you have low porosity hair. Just wanted to throw it out here in case anyone else is like me and can't use coconut oil, avocado oil, olive oil, etc. because they're too heavy or don't work for your hair.
Will almond oil work? I have that on hand. But can get grape seed oil if it works better. My daughter has low porosity hair and flaky scalp. And her hair is so dry
I have fine bleached hair. The only oil I can use with good results is olive oil. Grape seed weirdly dries out my hair. Coconut is way too heavy. I prefer to saturate my hair, leave in overnight and use apple cider vinegar rinse before washing with shampoo.
I use a mixture of castor oil, coconut oil, neem oil and a spray of moon water. It made my hair thicker and I am in love with my braid. My goal is to reach your healthy long hair 🥺✨ and I also have started brushing my hair with a wooden brush and omg I love it 🥰
You should try using a silicone free conditioner to emulsify the oil, otherwise it's going to be nearly impossible to rinse out. Also, another good tip is putting the oil on top of a base. For example use aloe gel all over the hair and then the oil on top of that. Oil doesn't actually have a moisturising effect on the hair, it just fills and smoothes it out. If you put a moisturising element like the aloe then the oil will lock in the moisture and give much better results. After the aloe and oil rinse the hair under warm water to get the majority of the oil out, then use the conditioner all over to emulsify, then wash the scalp and voilla! I've completely transformed my hair using these tips :) Try it out! x
What oil do you use? Because I have trouble picking ones. I use aloe vera in my hair but not with oils on top and it always comes out very dry and brittle 😓. I also made an oil thing using cloves, ginger and coconut oil together, but my hair still doesn't seem to improve. Also what (if you have used it that is 😅) oil is best to put in Jamaican Black Castor Oil? (she didn't say in the video😅)
i bought this oil she recommends and it was horrible for me i had major allergic reaction my scalp burned and felt sensitive for 3 days even after i had washed my hair. be careful the things they recommend doesn't work for everyone and the product is not cheap.
Um, yeah, whenever trying a new product with new ingredients you should test a little bit of it on a small patch of your skin before slathering it everywhere.
I use 5 spoon coconut oil + 5 spoons clarified butter , wait for an hour and wash with mild shampoo. It is really good deep conditioning method. I do it once a week. My hair turns out so smooth, manageable and awesome. Hope you try this method. Love from India :). Congratulations on 1 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS Sweetie :)

I don’t trust Amazon. Products never seem the same when I purchase from them. I’d rather just go to the official website of the product and know I’m getting the real deal. It’s $49 on BlueBeautifly and $49 on Amazon. Not worth the gamble.
Also i only recently started to realise that brushing distributes your hair oils!! Makes so much sense and now whenever i apply oil in the morning and before bed I'm sure to do it BEFORE brushing my hair (or brush, oil, brush), helps so much! edit: ESPECIALLY for my ends!!! they always felt so straw-like and frizzy i thought it would be like this forever 😭 i really think this is what helped for them to finally be softer😭
The Amalaki oil she recommends had absolutely the BEST ingredients! If you don’t mix your own oils and ingredients then I highly recommend Bluebeautify oil.
I just started watching your videos around august last year, and you've helped me so much! My hair has grown so much longer and feels so much softer. Thank you soooo much! Also, I hope you get to 1M soon!
I have purchased this oil thanks to you a few weeks ago and oh boy I don't regret it ! I have no idea if it's all because of this oil but I can say that I feel my hair being more thicker, fuller and healthier. I had a few empty spots around my temples area that were very clear and now I have a lot more baby hair growing and I'm so happy about it ! Definitely worth trying ! Can't wait to buy another bottle !! Merci Sarah, huge love from France

Your videos make me fall in love with your hair and sleepy 🥰😘when you brush your very long rapunzel hair 🤎🤎especially when you’re very beautiful with your hair growing. 4:54 Keep growing your hair longer and longer, stay safe and keep up the good work.
Yaaaay congratulations for 1 million subscribers🤗🤗you deserve it. The only girl I know who is consistent with her hair and her oils. She has beautiful thick hair. Very inspiring videos.
A cheaper alternative to the one she uses is the Fable and Mane holiroots oil. It's $34 instead of $50, and it's done wonders for my hair. If that's still not within your budget, my best friend loves the Alodia Nourish and Glow Scalp Oil, which is like $20. I used to struggle with so much dandruff, really oilly scalp, and just overall terrible hair, but I've found that using oil pre-wash has made my hair so much smoother, more manageable, and my scalp is less oily. If you've never used oil in your hair care routine (especially you white girls out there) then you should 100% try it.
I almost went bald 5 years ago. Since then I've updated my hair care routine and continue to do so. The most recent addition to my routine is Rosemary Oil. I'll let you know in July if that helps. I was asked to grow my hair long and donate it. That's flattering for a male!, A 69 year old one at that.
I really love my jet black , long thick hair , but for a while here my hair falls out more than normal, the doctor says it's a lot of stress. I always use a blend of 10 oils with black castor, argan, jojoba and amla being my favorites. I would like to see a video of how much hair it is normal to lose on a daily basis. Please.
I couldn't help but jump in right after she talked about Amalaki hair oil. Amla or Indian gooseberry is the richest form of iron in nature. The fruit is very sour and Indians make pickles out of them. Great video, thank you.
Can you please do a video about how you control hair frizz? My hair gets really frizzy and I don't know how to calm it down and yours always looks so smooth and has no frizz so I would love to know how you achieve that and I feel like a lot of people would love to know as well.
I watched a video of hers 10 years ago and i can say its not all genetics. She had neither thick nor thin hair to begin in the first place and i can see her hair is 30% thicker. Most Indians including me have that thickness of her hair from 10 years ago. So i am thinking to give her routine a try since it's genuine.
I do agree that the type of oil we use also end up affecting hair health along with the massage. I started to see positive impact with hairfall immediately when I used Kama Ayurveda's Bringadi Thailam oil. This is an oil prescribed in Ayurveda for a lot of purposes. I like to sleep with the oil in my hair too!

Your hair is so beautiful...I think I found your channel about 6 years ago, and your hair is just as lovely as it was back then. I also liked your video on natural sunscreens. Thank you!
I ve used a scoop of coconut 🥥 oil and a few teaspoons of black Jamaican castor oil. Warm both in the microwave for less than a min. And let it cool a little load up your fingers and go to town. I leave in for 30min. And rinse well.
The reason why you shouldn't touch your scalp with the dropper is that you transfer bacteria that are naturally on your body into the bottle which can make your oil turn bad. It doesn't matter if you're the only one using it.
You are so pretty! Love you girl! I always believe in oiling the scalp and massaging regularly - but need a good recipe made by a master herboloist, rather than us mixing things ourselves randomly - a lot of study goes behind it, actually. I use the Immortal's Oil for Scalp and Skin, but can use any that is a formula made by a qualified herb master, it makes the difference between great thick hair in results, versus okayish results (you still get results in both, but have to do it long term as well).
I hope that with oiling my hair/scalp with pure biological amla oil it will grow. I cut it short due to shock it was waist long (7 years or more of growth) now it gets to my nape. Thank you for inspiring me again Sarah.
Thank you so much, we love the hair videos so much!! I built my entire hair routine based on your videos and truthfully my hair has never felt better. I think of you often! Thank you so much 💕💕💕💕
I was loosing a lot of hair, in the mornings I would find loose hair all over my sheets and pillow. I started using black seed oil with rosemary oil, and after 6 weeks ( 3 x a week) of use no hair loss anymore. Looking forward to my healthy tick and shiny long hair now :)
Fact: Genetic is the most top reason to have good hair. Anything else come later. If your genetic is thin hair, whatever you do its still thin because your scalp is programmed to have only a certain number of hair follicles.
Well, in some cases it depends.I know people that have thin and damaged hair due to genetics, but there are also people with medical conditions that have hair problems due to them. For example, my hair used to be thin and fall a lot because I had hypothyroidism.
You are truly beautiful Sarah! I love all of your videos and I'm kinda ✨OBSESSED ✨with your videos and of course with your hair. Keep doing what you do because it helps a lot of people!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
My hair was like your hair thick and beautiful but now it’s thinner than before and has a lot of broken hairs. What should I do? 🥺 P.S. I am only sixteen 🥲
You’re hair is so beautiful, healthy, and thick. I have long hair but it’s thin and I can’t tell if it’s breakage or new growth that I have but it looks like I don’t brush my hair.
I love you and congratz on 1m you deserve it ❤️!! Thank you so much 🥰 your literally my inspiration for long hair and whenever I want to cut my hair I would just always watch your videos because I know I will regret cutting it 🥺
Same here. I've been growing my hair for years. Now it's down to my waist line and I only get trims. Even so, when I cut it just an inch and a half it seems a lot. So, I trim it pretty much once a year.
Love you’re having these videos again! 🌻 Would you consider making an updated skincare video? I know you mentioned you don’t do oil cleansing every day anymore, so it would be nice to see what things you have changed and products you use for specific skincare needs :) Also, I think the person referring to how you put the dropper on your scalp associated it with people putting their dropper on the skin when using the face serums? I think it’s then when people say that you should just hold it directly over your skin to not transfer any bacteria to your face serum. I think the scalp is less sensitive to those things and it shouldn’t matter :)
I mix a solution of castor oil, sweet almond, argan, jojoba, olive , hemp, lavender essential oil, rosemary, eucalyptus and peppermint. And a bit of vitamin e supplement. All cold pressed. I want to sell if but I'm shy about how much it costs so I just gift it to family members. :)
What is your ratio if you don't mind me asking? I have been researching for ratio because i don't want to irritate my scalp due to too much of anything. Thank you. Also i think you should sell it eventually. People would probably love it

I like how she says "I'm having a terrible hair day"
girl trust me your terrible hair day is my good hair day lmao💖😭

Yaaas Lord!!
Waao interesting information
Also i only recently started to realise that brushing distributes your hair oils!! Makes so much sense and now whenever i apply oil in the morning and before bed I'm sure to do it BEFORE brushing my hair (or brush, oil, brush), helps so much!
edit: ESPECIALLY for my ends!!! they always felt so straw-like and frizzy i thought it would be like this forever 😭 i really think this is what helped for them to finally be softer😭
yay! so glad you started doing that! it helps so much 💕
The Amalaki oil she recommends had absolutely the BEST ingredients! If you don’t mix your own oils and ingredients then I highly recommend Bluebeautify oil.
I just purchased this oil. So excited to try it out
@@tiffanymcnerlin157 that’s great, let us know how it goes!
@@tiffanymcnerlin157how did it go with the oil?
I just started watching your videos around august last year, and you've helped me so much! My hair has grown so much longer and feels so much softer. Thank you soooo much! Also, I hope you get to 1M soon!
Can you tell me what did you exactly do so your hair got longer ?
pls tell me some tips to
Funny how they said it's disgusting putting the dropper on your scalp yet you have the most beautiful hair out of anyone I've seen. I'm obsessed lol 😍
Ikr...they were jealous
I have purchased this oil thanks to you a few weeks ago and oh boy I don't regret it ! I have no idea if it's all because of this oil but I can say that I feel my hair being more thicker, fuller and healthier. I had a few empty spots around my temples area that were very clear and now I have a lot more baby hair growing and I'm so happy about it ! Definitely worth trying ! Can't wait to buy another bottle !! Merci Sarah, huge love from France
Which one of them?
@@Lightonlight4 I bought Blue Beautifly Amalaki Scalp Serum, I'm finishing my 2nd bottle and I'm about to purchase a 3rd one in the next few weeks, I just also bought The Innate Life's Rosemary Scalp Serum, will see about this one !
@@Ana_gvrplsr thank youu
What kind of shampoo do you use? I also have a very oily scalp.
Been using coconut oil on my hair ever since I saw your first video on uses for coconut oil 😊
I don't think anything you do can ever be disgusting!! You're so beautiful, inside and out 💖💖💖
I would love to see her do a perfect high ponytail tutorial!! Love her hair!!😍😍
Please.
Do you apply it all over the hair and scalp too?
@@fioletskye1950 Yes, hair and scalp too, for 30 to 45 minutes every 3 or 4 weeks .
My hair has been falling off a lot lately 🥺 I think it’s stress just as you said I’m also using argan oil so that helps a bit
When did you hit 1M?! Well, congrats anyway! 🥰

Your hair's not frizzy, it's curly! It need extra care and love!💖 Check out curly girl method
OMG you have inspired me sooooo much Sarah! I started following your tips and my hair already grow longer thank you soo much!!
She is getting more beautiful day by day.... 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺Disney princess!!
of all the long hair gurus, she has the healthiest and nicest I have seen.
She is so so so pretty!! The fringe suit her so much with her beautiful long hair!
Girl you have to check out the oil CRISAN. It contains 50 organic essential oils for hair growth. It’s so underrated.
Crisan Oil looks amazing.
Thanks ur hair is so so beautiful. I am almost 60 yo and I have a lot of hair also but due to my arthritis I cut it very short. Can’t stretch arms too much anymore. enjoy watching urs.🌸
Can you please make a video about hair porosity & how to choose the right products for our hair 🙏
I'm making a hair care routine & I didn't know what is my hair type to choose the right products 😭💚💚
+ pls plssss talk more + specific about fine/thin long hair, 'cause literally I didn't find any video that helps me, hope you help me, I need alot of help, my hair is going bad day by day.... Thanks in advance! 🙏
I'll add it to my list 😊💓
She has such a beautiful hair😍😍 kind of "children hair" by that i mean naturally healthy and shiny no demeged at all,of course using organic products, play a big part of it.But also genetics...she is blessed
I'm sitting here with oil in my hair and this video gets recommended to me 😳
Love castor oil. Helped me much with hair growth on my eyebrows ♥️
same here its like magic 🤤✨✨✨
I just wanted to say ,I have watched lots of hair growth and care videos, and you have the most beautiful hair i have seen on here❤
Such a beautifull hair you have and of course we all know that genetics matter but of course it does matter how we treat the hair ... and 🙏 for all the good advice, the links etc very helpfull and inspiring 🙏 ❤️
( and by the way it would be very helpfull with a written note that could be downloaded ) 🌷❤️
Your hair is so beautiful...I think I found your channel about 6 years ago, and your hair is just as lovely as it was back then. I also liked your video on natural sunscreens. Thank you!
Every time she lifts her hair I get really impressed by how long, thick and healthy it looks
I ve used a scoop of coconut 🥥 oil and a few teaspoons of black Jamaican castor oil. Warm both in the microwave for less than a min. And let it cool a little load up your fingers and go to town. I leave in for 30min. And rinse well.
Your videos bring me so much happiness !
Thank you for brightening up our day, Sarah
CONGRATS ON 1MILLION! So happy for you! I love your videos so much!
She give me rich but kind and humble vibes~ i love herrrrrrr 😭
Thank you so much, we love the hair videos so much!! I built my entire hair routine based on your videos and truthfully my hair has never felt better. I think of you often! Thank you so much 💕💕💕💕
Do ur hair is thicker now ? 😍
If your terrible hair day looks like this I think we all want it. Have a beautiful blessed day. Thanks for the hair videos.
Can u do a video all about how long it took you to grow your hair and hair growth tips??
I was loosing a lot of hair, in the mornings I would find loose hair all over my sheets and pillow. I started using black seed oil with rosemary oil, and after 6 weeks ( 3 x a week) of use no hair loss anymore. Looking forward to my healthy tick and shiny long hair now :)
You are quite Literally the reason i started doing my hair care!
I’m 67 and my hair is down to my rear, I’m going to try the beautifly oil ! This sounds like a good product 👍I’ve been using argan oil
Can you make a video about how to clean hairbrushes? Love you❤
I believe she shared a little bit about that in her wooden hair brush video.
she seems like the sweetest person ever :)
Everyone : hair so pretty
Me : OMG she got one million why not talking about that

I've just realised that
You have such a gentle and soothing voice. Thanks for your hair care advice 👍
Hi can you do a video about 5 healthy habits for hair and can you applied more of hair video please thank
My hair was like your hair thick and beautiful but now it’s thinner than before and has a lot of broken hairs. What should I do? 🥺
P.S. I am only sixteen 🥲
Maybe go to the doctor. It could be a sign of a deficienty
Do you feel stress lately? Because that's my reason as for why i'm losing my hair.
even im facing the same problem, i went to the doctor and she gave vitamin d supplements but that
doesn't seem to help
Same gurl I’m only 15
Could be diet
Its always a blessing for me to see your videos and stay motivated on my hair growth journey !!
Thank you ❤️
You’re hair is so beautiful, healthy, and thick.
@@simonagrigoruta me too! My hair reaches down all the way to my waist thanks to her.

@@holistichabits your welcome!!!!
Love you’re having these videos again! 🌻 Would you consider making an updated skincare video? I know you mentioned you don’t do oil cleansing every day anymore, so it would be nice to see what things you have changed and products you use for specific skincare needs :)
Also, I think the person referring to how you put the dropper on your scalp associated it with people putting their dropper on the skin when using the face serums? I think it’s then when people say that you should just hold it directly over your skin to not transfer any bacteria to your face serum. I think the scalp is less sensitive to those things and it shouldn’t matter :)
Ur voice is so calming
that's true 😍
I mix a solution of castor oil, sweet almond, argan, jojoba, olive , hemp, lavender essential oil, rosemary, eucalyptus and peppermint. And a bit of vitamin e supplement. All cold pressed. I want to sell if but I'm shy about how much it costs so I just gift it to family members. :)
Dont be shy there is no need to feel shame for any kind of work, you should sell this oil ,these ingredients looks great for the hair❤️❤️❤️❤️
What is your ratio if you don't mind me asking? I have been researching for ratio because i don't want to irritate my scalp due to too much of anything. Thank you. Also i think you should sell it eventually. People would probably love it
Your videos are always so well done and calming 💙 your demeanor would be perfect for ASMR 💙
