🔎 Today, we’re going to explore 6 of the worst foods for heart disease, including a number of toxic foods that are promoted as “healthy” by the food industry but actually cause havoc in the body.
    6. Deep Fried foods
They are high in calories and unhealthy fats, which cause inflammation, clog arteries and lead to heart attack and stroke. They also tend to be high in salt and hidden sugars which raise blood pressure and increase the risk of heart disease.
    5. Refined Carbohydrates
Refined carbs are quickly absorbed into the bloodstream and cause blood sugar levels to spike. Over time, this can lead to insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes - both of which are major risk factors for heart disease.
    4. MSG
MSG, or monosodium glutamate, is a common food additive that has been shown to cause adverse effects on the heart. Studies have found that eating MSG is associated with higher blood pressure levels. It has also been associated with an increased risk of stroke and other cardiovascular diseases.
    3. Vegetable Oils
Many vegetable oils are bad for the heart because they easily become rancid. Once they become rancid, they cause inflammation in the body that can damage blood vessels and lead to heart disease.
    2. Processed Meats
The chemicals used to cure the meat - including nitrates - can damage the lining of blood vessels, leading to inflammation and plaque buildup.
    1. Soda
When you drink soda, your blood glucose spikes. Also, according to one study, people who drink diet soda on a daily basis have a 67% rise in type 2 diabetes and a 36% rise in heart disease and related conditions.

Heart disease is caused by high inflammation. High inflammation comes from industrially produced seed oils, insulin resistance and oxidative stress. Cut out those along with processed foods (which are high in industrially process seed oils and HFCS, reduce your stress and make sure you're eating energy and nutrient dense foods that provide bioavailable nutrients.

The video has been pretty much on point till the processed meat and cancer risk. There is studies in rats showing bacon was actually protective against colon cancer compared to unprocessed chicken, and sodium is only a issue for people who are salt sensitivity to little sodium has been linked to heart attacks, sodium consumption is a bell shaped curve to little can be more harmful then to much in many cases, the guide lines need updating to reflect new data and improve people's health span.

I will never drink soda again. Wasn't raised drinking soda but only here and there outside the home. I wasn't told it wasn't good for me but felt it wasn't after drinking it...not hydrating. Yet as a teen saw it as liquid on a scorching hot summer day already dehydrated and would get for thirst as if I forgot not hydrating. Soda was heavily pushed in commercials during kid programming in 80's and 90's though along with Kool Aid. Processed meat specifically bologna and hotdogs as well. Everything on TV was all about sugar, msg, nitrates and vegetable oil.

It's great to hear that you're making a conscious choice to avoid soda and other processed foods. It's true that many sugary and processed products were heavily promoted in advertising, especially during certain time periods. Being aware of the potential health risks associated with these foods and making healthier choices is a positive step towards improving your overall well-being.
Staying hydrated with water and consuming whole, nutrient-rich foods is a wise choice for your health. If you have any questions about making healthier dietary choices or if you're looking for more information, feel free to ask. Keep up the good work, and prioritize your health and well-being!

You suggest we drink Pomegranate or Cranberry juice instead of soda because of high sugar in a can. However, one cup of cranberry or pomegranate juice contains around the same number.

Informative and well done video!!!!!! Thank you very much to any and all that help make this video and bring it to UTube!!!!! I’ve been working on changing all these!! The worst one or the only one that I really is Diet Pepsi!!! Diet Pepsi some in the past, here and there, but invariably have gone back to drinking yet!! I was raised around heavy coffee drinking… Been trying to find sparkling waters, etc., with caffeine in them! Not always easy to find, or very hard to find!! I was doing these flavored drops, which have RD number six/RD #6, etc.!! That is bad for you also!!!! Anybody have any ideas to help me!?!? I would be most appreciative!! Oh, I have congestive heart failure, & am 74 yrs. of age! Thank you very much! ❤ 😄 🌲🙏🎄
