My aunt stayed 20years with her lying, cheating husband. The guy left the house multiple times for maximum a year without checking on his 5kids, gave her stds, stopped paying their tuition, calling them bastards, telling my aunt several times he will kill her, physically assaulted her ( do not worry she whooped his behind😅). We he nieces told her to leave for years and went we least expected it, she left him this summer and took her 5 kids with her. They do not have much and slept on one mattress in their living room but I can tell you that I havent see her shine like that since she got married. My cousins are happier and no longer shy. They are funny and alive. I hope this help someone take the courageous step out of the door of an abusise home. You are stronger than you think, queens❤

She stayed with him anyway, until the day he died in 2019! He had outside kids, beside theirs, physical and mental abuse. Now she is bitter about how she allowed her life to go. I look at this young woman, dejaniyah and I pray she realizes one day, Derrick did her a favor by leaving.

I often wondered why he would be talking from inside his car and then when he did that segment with his wife looking like she just got out of bed, I immediately thought not only mismatch but that this lady looks like his maid, he must be controlling her so severely that she doesn't know if she is coming or going. No woman in her right mind would dress like that in front of a camera or even at home and not expect her husband to cheat. Either she is severely depressed because of his philandering ways and does not care anymore or he has completely messed her up with his controlling ways.
I thought I missed out because I dated him in college, but broke it off when he failed to show up for me like I did for him. I worked full-time and went to school full-time. So I didn't tolerate excuses about time because I didn't have time myself. Now seeing how my standards/boundaries saved me from his mess, I'm truly grateful 🙌🏽

At 43, I still thought I could pray thru his abuse and save our marriage and family as he betrayed us in ways never fathomed. People need to understand that others will treat you as you allowed them to do. Set your boundaries and whether he/she respects them or not. Boundaries can be negotiated but not compromised unilaterally. We must also accept that broken hearts can be mended and it's better to move on than to lie to oneself.
I say this to my mom all the time but she doesn't listen. She instead excuses my father's actions by saying his health conditions are to blame. He's cheated, had an outside child, is financially irresponsible and left her for 8 years. He came back when he needed a caretaker and she actually pities him. He still won't help her with expenses even though he can afford to. If he was well enough he'd actually leave her , he resents her yet she won't set boundaries and stop being disrespected.
This is really sad. Unfortunately a lot of men are like this and I truly believe that us a women can change the world with our standards starting with closing those legs so we can start evaluating characters over time and have the power to leave if it’s not right. Fumi you are so right. I was married to a man like this. A narcissist who literally beat me down with words and fists. He was the master gaslighter. Even after HE divorced me he still did everything in his power to control my life and my income . We still lived in the same house, divorced. I finally got out into low income housing boy was he angry but it was my first steps to liberty. He did not want me (he was a player too) but he also did not want to let me go to maybe marry again so he did everything to make my life miserable and because we had minor children I had to interact with him.

I thought he was single for the longest time. I often wondered why he would be talking from inside his car and then when he did that segment with his wife looking like she just got out of bed, I immediately thought not only mismatch but that this lady looks like his maid, he must be controlling her so severely that she doesn't know if she is coming or going. No woman in her right mind would dress like that in front of a camera or even at home and not expect her husband to cheat. Either she is severely depressed because of his philandering ways and does not care anymore or he has completely messed her up with his controlling ways.
I thought I missed out because I dated him in college, but broke it off when he failed to show up for me like I did for him. I worked full-time and went to school full-time. So I didn't tolerate excuses about time because I didn't have time myself. Now seeing how my standards/boundaries saved me from his mess, I'm truly grateful 🙌🏽

When that scandal originally broke, I stopped following him smh. She looked so pitiful in that bonnet sitting next to him smh. My heart went out to her because we have all been there before in our broken days. Amen! I’m now 52 and reeling from the loss of my youth wasted on a husband I loved thru H and back. Mine had to die of a very early stroke for me to finally let him go. I still fought for his life while he was on life support. His daughters whom I loved, didn’t allow me to fight for his life and now they are beyond wealthy while my son and I were left broke because my husband was so insecure and narcissistic, he fully believed I’d remarry within a year and “give another man HIS money” He wouldn’t allow me to work as it would give me independence. SMH… Its been 5 years and I’ve never looked at another man because my brain and spirit were so hardwired by this narcissist.. At 43, I still thought I could pray thru his abuse and save our marriage and family as he betrayed us in ways never fathomed.

People need to understand that others will treat you as you allowed them to do. Set your boundaries and whether he/she respects them or not. Boundaries can be negotiated but not compromised unilaterally. We must also accept that broken hearts can be mended and it's better to move on than to lie to oneself.
I say this to my mom all the time but she doesn't listen. She instead excuses my father's actions by saying his health conditions are to blame. He's cheated, had an outside child, is financially irresponsible and left her for 8 years. He came back when he needed a caretaker and she actually pities him. He still won't help her with expenses even though he can afford to. If he was well enough he'd actually leave her , he resents her yet she won't set boundaries and stop being disrespected.

In the video with his wife sitting beside him she looks severely mentally stressed and undone. I felt so bad for her but she was not ready to let that user go! Fumi you are so right. I was married to a man like this. A narcissist who literally beat me down with words and fists. He was the master gaslighter. Even after HE divorced me he still did everything in his power to control my life and my income . We still lived in the same house, divorced. I finally got out into low income housing boy was he angry but it was my first steps to liberty. He did not want me (he was a player too) but he also did not want to let me go to maybe marry again so he did everything to make my life miserable and because we had minor children I had to interact with him.
