I can see I did everything wrong in my last relationship. I would always respond to his texts within about 30 min. Sometimes he wouldn’t even apologize, he would act as if nothing had happened and I would not call him on it. My father used to leave and we wouldn’t see him for 18 to 36 months, he would show up and behave as if we were just talking yesterday and nothing had happened. As much as it hurt I blocked all of our mutual friends and/or unfriended them so he can’t question them about me. He was so cruel to me that I had to walk away and take his power away. But some of our mutual friends told me he was saying some terrible things about me there (flying monkeys). So in order to keep my life private from him I blocked everyone except my family. Now if he inquires about me or lies to them about me he’ll look like a fool cause no one will have information about me to give him. It hurt to block them but they truly aren’t good long time friends if they believe him, not everyone will believe him but people can be two-faced, backstabbers. And he may not be doing as well as he pretends to be sweetie. My ex pretended too and found out he’s drinking heavily and has another addiction he lied about. The hardest thing I did was walking away, but he was very cruel to me and for my sanity and safety I had no choice.

I can see I did everything wrong in my last relationship. I would always respond to his texts within about 30 min. Sometimes he wouldn’t even apologize, he would act as if nothing had happened and I would not call him on it.
My father used to leave and we wouldn’t see him for 18 to 36 months, he would show up and behave as if we were just talking yesterday and nothing had happened. I realize that my fear of abandonment has caused me to allow men to mistreat me.

I asked him if I video chat with him in my bed at 2am is that ok. He said IDK. Lying. I just feel stuck because of being pregnant. I'm now 42 he is 32 his 1st child..1st real girlfriend never had one in the same country or city upclose and actually having a relationship. This is also only a 6 month relationship. We fell in love fast and it died just as fast. I love him too. But I think only because of my situation. I have it all..a huge 5 bed home..private golf community. ..2 nice trucks and a car...my own money. But cant get this love thing right. How do I do the 2 wk distant thing now. Doctors appointments . But some of our mutual friends told me he was saying some terrible things about me there (flying monkeys). So in order to keep my life private from him I blocked everyone except my family. Now if he inquires about me or lies to them about me he’ll look like a fool cause no one will have information about me to give him. It hurt to block them but they truly aren’t good long time friends if they believe him, not everyone will believe him but people can be two-faced, backstabbers. And he may not be doing as well as he pretends to be sweetie. My ex pretended too and found out he’s drinking heavily and has another addiction he lied about. The hardest thing I did was walking away, but he was very cruel to me and for my sanity and safety I had no choice.

I dated a guy twice and last year I stopped cold turkey blocked him on everything except my social media account.
