These are just my thoughts but I believe what we’re going to see over the course of the next two years is the pyramid ships invading, guardians dealing with the light and darkness powers, and ultimately choosing a side by the time lightfall hits. I feel as if lightfall is going to be the end of Destiny but not the end also. I feel like the things we have come to know from destiny will change and we’ll get a brand new game with new concepts. I think the traveler is going to be destroyed; the darkness is going to be destroyed. Everything we know about Destiny’s lore is going to be destroyed. Then something new is going to be born from the culmination of everything.
@@MawsYT That's a good speculation. I mean destiny 2 is already becoming too big in content and storage space, they might cut some of the older contents or possibly planets and introduce new ones.

Can I just point out that this “era of darkness” follows the “era of loss” text font style. Like if you look d2 and beyond light share the same font, forsaken and with queen both share the exodus font type and shadowkeep and light fall share the same as well. Not to mention that they are also the respective sizes are well. Just a cool detail I noticed
in d2 vanilla we got our light stolen and got our light powers back, we gained something.. in beyond light we will get darkness and dark powers.. the opposide
in forsaken we lost a friend and we played into the card of savathun.. in witch queen we might do it again or we defeat her finally.. and maybe we will loose someone again.. or someone comes back ?
And in shadowkeep we discovered that the darkness.. the pyramids.. our nemesis is already here.. we discovered this new threat for the first time.. maybe in lightfall we will be defeated by it or a new enemy race directly under the darkness will come and attack

The pyramids are definitely not the only aliens that exist but it's the main enemy of the game. So it has to be a grand entrance at the start,and a grand finale at the end. I would rather fight this than have another reskin of the fallen.

@@thefunny1800 Bit late but they’ve took away some grinding elements of the game. It’s a lot easier to get to max power now, and weapons are easier to come by. I think this is a good thing to be honest, barely anyone has the hours anymore

Bungue made it easy for new players, u can jump right in
Hitting the soft cap isn't that bad at all :). After that only certain activities will give you equipment that raises your power level. Doing these activities rewards you with 'pinnacle gear'. It can take a few weeks to reach max power but don't stress out too much. You have a ton of content to play through so just relax and have fun :).

This was probably the best reveal/trailer bungie's ever made. I remember being in a discord call with my friends and going nuts when we saw witch queen and lightfall. Same reaction when we saw the "wield the darkness" part of the beyond light trailer
