I'll save y'all the bing search, there is indeed 3 types of milk in 3 leches cake. Evaporated milk (often called leche carnation due to the ubiquity of that brand) condensed milk (or leche lechera) and normal milk (some people even add powdered milk to make it even milkier.) And to make it all stay inside the bread is made to be extremely dry without the milk which is later added and left to soak in the fridge over night or up to 24 hours for it to settle and not spill out of the cake when cut.

I can confirm that this stuff along with some orange bitters makes a delightful old fashioned.
This is definitely one of my more favorite beverages to have over ice at night just relaxing on the front porch.

Not too long ago I had an Old Fashioned with Licor 43 (in lieu of the sugar). It was wonderful

Float of heavy cream in a shot and the game changes EVERYTHING!! So good! It is good in an old fashioned! No sugar cube or simple syrup needed
use baileys in stead of that cream ooooor if you have to use the cream add a little butterscotch schnaps with the cream
I'll bet soaking in the frequencies of the universe along the Ibiza coastline sipping this while Alt-J's "Something Good" plays would be lovely.
A popular way to serve it in Denmark is as kinder egg shot. Take a shaker fill it almost to the edge with 50-50 licor 43 and chocolate milk, top it with whipped cream and give it a good shake. Tastes wonderfull.

2 shots 43 + 2 shots espresso shaken with ice. Creates a super sweet foam that balances the bitterness well.

Try a mini beer... shot glass with liquor 43 and float a small bit of heavy cream... looks like a little beer and tastes incredible
It's also good mixed with bourbon.
1:1 Licor 43 and Espresso sets up a nice version of an Espresso Martini. Carajillo, cold or hot.
I'm thinking you should mix this and Malort into some bastardized version of an Old Fashioned. Wonder if the quality of Licor 43 would do anything to mask the Malort?
I mean you could just forego any pretence of trying to work at 9am on a Monday morning and instead of coffee use a coffee liqueur (something like Mr Black or Kahlua) and turn it into a Spanish Black Russian?
Basically a carajillo but double up on the booze. I'll vouch for it as long as you don't mind a pretty damned sweet cocktail.

This girl I met brought me a bottle of this. I had no idea what it was.
If you want something terrible but will give you a respite from Malort, try out Singani 63. It's an imported...drink of some alcoholic variety, championed by Steven Soderberg. It tastes like old lady perfume and stinks up a kitchen like nothing else.
I am once again requesting you review Buckfast or Pruno, I will continue to request this until you review Buckfast or get your hands on some fermented under a radiator kool-aid.

43 used to be sold in America and then like 20 years ago it stopped being distributed and everybody had to move to Triple Sec for their Margaritas. Margaritas were never the same.

1:02 PV3, I love ya but I gotta call you out. In what universe does an Old Fashioned contain orange liqueur? An old fashioned is just whiskey, bitters, sugar, and an orange twist. Adding orange liqueur would make it... something else.
