I am a complete beginner of how to bead using the elastic. Your video is the first that I have watched, it is of high standard and clearly demonstrated, I will not look any further, you made me happy, luv the lesson. Ps I have beads to get started, and I will continue to follow you.
I had a beaded bracelet that broke today and I wanted to fix it because I had extra elastic. Super easy to follow along, appreciate how quick and simple it was to follow. Beaded bracelet is successfully fixed!
I've been making tigertail bracelets for a long time but I never seem to get them completely right. This video is a game changer. I can now make my bracelets without all the hassle and problems I had with tigertail. This instructional video is so easy to follow too. Thank you so much! :)
I know you did this video four years ago, but I just watched it now and it helped me so much! Your directions were so clear and easy to follow. Thank you!
Yours is the first video I watched for the basics. Thank you for such a clear and easy to understand video that gets right to the point. I also appreciate the absence of distracting music. Love it! 😍💖
Omg thank you!!! I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to tie off the elastic without a huge bunch of knots that wouldn’t go inside the bead!! 👏👏👏
Thank you so much! I have ordered my first batch of crystal beads and can’t wait to start practicing. As a crystal lover, I’d like to say that the crystals you had selected for this tutorial are very beautiful.
As Fya posted; BEST EVER TUTORIAL!!!!! I stopped doing elastic bracelets because of the ugly knots and then having to glue the knots to keep them from unraveling. Thank you so much for this - awesome!!!!!
I am so grateful for this tutorial. I have always hesitated to make and sell elastic bracelets because I don't trust my knots and never want to disappoint buyers. And the Tiger Tail "needle" is such a good idea. Thank you so very much! Do you have a favorite brand of thread that doesn't lose elasticity?
Awesome video! Thank you!!! I'm a beginner and I'm so happy I found your video. You're a very good teacher for someone like me who's starting from scratch. I was able to follow your instructions and make my very first bead bracelet! Thank you so much for taking the time and explaining everything I needed to know! Subscribed!
Wow,30 yes ago I made jewelry went 2 craft show. Now that I retired I have mostly everything 2 start again. I just need refresh course. 2 bring it back because I have the time. I would like to do shows again. Thank u for all that I have seeing. Blessings
I’m doing almost the same thing-went to three craft shows last fall. Had to learn to use a square to take credit cards though! Good luck. It’s fun to have a hobby.
@@Linda.Swierczynski the Square (should have capitalized) is a device and service that takes credit card payments. I didn’t pay anything for the device but you pay a small fee per transaction. Completely worth it.
Thank you so much!! I made a wooden bead bracelet for my boyfriend for Christmas to replace one of his favorites that broke a few weeks ago. Your instructions were so clear and easy. It turned out amazing!
I've been wanting to try this knotting method for months and finally did it today. It is wonderful! I remade a bracelet I made a few days ago. With this method, the bracelet looks and feels so much better. Thank you!
Thank you! I don’t make elastic bracelets because the knots don’t hold. I’m excited to try your fishy knot! Your video is very easy to understand. You’re a great teacher.
Nita - I agree the knots don't hold with the elastic and it's very tricky to use. The only knot I find that does hold is when you hold two strands together and tie a wrap knot (not sure what you call the knot) and then tie a overhand knot on top of that with a dab of glue. But, sadly what you wind up with is a big lump especially if you use smaller beads. I am convinced what a jewelry manufacturer uses from a bulk supplier and what they sell the hobbyist in craft stores are two different products, I mean it just can't be this hard. I am going to try this technique...but it also seems to waste a lot of elastic. you just can't win...lol
I really enjoyed your video. I found it direct to the point, and easy to follow without distractions from music or a lot of unnecessary talking. Thank you!
I was really struggling with glue because I didn't know how to properly tie a knot. Now, thanks to this video, I can double the elastic and tie a secure knot that can be easily hidden inside a bead. There is no need to use any glue! What a lifesaver! I can't thank you enough for this video! Nothing matches the feeling of security I now have that my bracelets won't break on a customer. Thank you so much for sharing this. I wish you continued success!
Very pretty! I started back up making jewelry again and I was wondering how to hide knots and not use a tube spacer. I will try this way tonight! Thanks for this video!
This is the best tutorial out there!! Thank you so much! I’m so excited to fi this! I’ve been so nervous with my bracelets adding extra stuff for security. This is perfect
Thank you so much I've had elastic thread for ages & too nervous to use it (dummy) your demo was very easy to understand I think you are my new teacher, thanks again ❤

OMG! Thank you so so much for this awesome tutorial. I was getting so furious with those glues. I was able to make a beautiful heart bracelet without glue. So wonderful.
Best bracelet tutorial with no glue!!! If you don't have a fancy needle, you can use a regular needle and a loop of thread to fold your elastic over & bead with 👍👍👍

Is there any other wire that would work the same as Tigertail? Would Wildfire wire or any other wire work the same?
Thats very smart to use Tiger tail in a V. It ready saves money and time. Love it. What is the guage of the Tiger tail though?
Ours is 0.3mm. Ours is quite a high quality tigertail so it lasts really well as a needle too!
Thanks
