Quick tip, once I hose down my sand I spread it out on plastic and allow it to dry out in the sun then rinse again. Repeat the process a couple times and your water will be clear without all the cloudy water. Longer process but well worth it. I just buy the big roll of plastic from home depot.
Put some jungle Val in the tank! It’ll look awesome :)

Hi Luke your 80 gallon looks beter now. You might need a salamander, carnidial tetras and some rainbow fish or other fish. And don't forget that the silver dollars are ready to go in the mini pond. I am your number one fan.

Get a black background, that will make the fish and the plants pop :) get some red plants and put co2 in and some wood (it's good for the pleco) . That would be AWESOME
Great vid, a 1% black car window tint would set the rock, plants and fish off well on the back of the tank

Hey Luke, I really enjoy your video. I'd love to see you make an other video catching more of those cichlid from the little creek and maybe have a tank only with them. Those videos from the creek are my favorites. Then man.
What type of filter do you recommend for sand substrate? I was under the impression that a sponge filter is good but I kinda don't want and random sponge in the middle of the tank as it'll ruin the natural ambiance that I'm trying to create for it. Thanks!

To be honest guppys are so awesome fish... But they need non stop care!! With fish that he has they are not that weak so he doesnt need to care every second that water is 100000% perfect
Antonio Martic personally I don’t find guppies high maintenance. When I got a fish tank (I was about 7) that’s the kind of fish I was recommended to keep and I didn’t struggle. I have a few guppies at the moment and I’ve had no problems with them. At one point my little sister came round and she poured an entire tub of food into the guppy tank. I didn’t find out until later that night and the water was very polluted. I had to do an 80% water change. The guppies were all fine.
@@yuriplisetsky8441 It comes to the point where you buy them.. Or does your shop where you buy your fish is rly good and care about fish and heal them from stress and illnesses they get from shipping.. But guppys faaaar the most beatiful and cool looking fish and its cheap..
Antonio Martic to be fair the place I get my fish has been really good for me, I have only ever lost one fish within a week of having bought them and they replaced the fish that died for free.
