There’s a possibility that no one sees this but next time your adding sand to an aquarium pack the sand into a 2 liter bottle and screw it. Once your tank is full of water take the bottle hold it completely upside down unscrew the cap and let the sand fall out. The grains will fall from the bottle while water rushes in. The sand will come out but the dust that is lighter than the water will stay in the bottle it. It saves a lot of time and water.
Was on vacation in Tennessee and waited to watch this video till I got home just so I could pay attention😂😂 been watchin your vids for a while and I have a 75 I’m waitin to set up and have the exact same filter lol. Keep doin the damn thing man.
You are growing so fast and maturing in the hobby - your instructions are thoughtful and inspiring - I enjoy your vids and look forward to the next - thanks Carson
I have six little guppies in a five gallon tank. My grandmother said it would be fine but I'm planning on upgrading it anyway. I'm moving them to a 10 gallon tank! I don't know when but I'm very excited. Also I love your videos. 😊
You probably have upgraded already but you should have 1 gallon for every inch of fish you have in that tank so you would need a larger tank but it’s good you probably upgraded because it is over a year since you commented
@@SantoshTiwari-ps9kn heck the internet says I can not have 3 Tigers in a 75 but it didn’t stop me, experienced fish people will say 3 would happily fit in a 75.
Carson, you are so awesome you inspired me to get turtles and I can tell that you are a genuine and humble youtuber. Everyone needs to subscribe to you.
Out of all other UA-camrs I follow that post fish you’re by far my favorite. You show a lot of love and care for your animals, not just fish. I look forward to seeing many more videos and seeing your following grow.
I just binged watched a bunch of your recent videos. I guess now I have to subscribe lol also I love where you live I want to live in a quiet nature setting like that
I've had one of those filters (HW304B or equivalent) running my 55 for a few years. Here's some tips: 1)forget the uv light, it breaks down the plastic trays pretty quickly and they will start coming apart. 2)the fins in the bottom that hold the trays don't always hold the trays high enough to seal against the motor. This lets quite a bit of water thru bypassing the media. I made some PVC risers that are made 3/16" taller. 3)the surface skimmer will suck in a lot of air if the level of water isn't at the right height. Honestly, its a great filter.
Love the vid. And just found out I'm not only a fellow fish lover but I live in Saint louis and have a friend connection to you. Wow its a small world.
Great tank! Just found your channel today, awesome setups. We are fellow Missourians as well! Any favorite shops you like to source livestock, plants, and supplies from that you could recommend?
Dude its amazing to see how much better you ve become as a youtuber and a pet owner Remember when u put a bass in a tank that size look At you now bro u a legend
Every time you post I get so excited because your content is just so entertaining and interesting! You also feel real and the things you make and tanks you set up look like something I could do (not saying it’s easy but money wise it’s not as expensive as bigger you tubers tank set ups I’ve seen)
Hey Carson, I am pretty new to your channel, but I absolutely LOVE the effort you put into your aquarium life! You seem to be a great guy and just the way that you handle all of your aquatic pets brings so much joy to so many people. Congratulations on your new tank and have a safe and splendid rest of your day!!! We all love you!❤️🌍
Hey Carson just an FYI. You can use aquarium heaters horizontally or angled and it's perfectly safe. It's actually recommended in some cases since the hot water will then even distribute rather than heat up more at the top of the heater.
You should really look into getting a nano reef tank....... That would really look good in the fish room. I have a fluval evo 13.5 and I love it and highly recommend it for a beginner reef tank and it’s only $160 for the tank, light and filtration!
Hey, if you take the sand out of the bag and wash a half a bucket at a time it works a lot better. I fill it with water and mix it around a lot with my hand and then pour off the dirty water. Repeat until water runs clear and then add to the tank. Do that each time until all of the sand is clean. Your tank will be a lot less cloudy. You can also tip the thermometer sideways if it is too big to go in upright. That way it will distribute the heat more evenly as well. The tank looks great and I love the background. So many people never bother with it or just paint the backs, but I think it looks so much better and more natural.
Thanks for watching! So glad to finally have the 75 up & running, ready for fish. Can’t wait to see my cichlids in here! How does the tank look?⬇️
It looks spectacular!!!🐢🐠🐟🐡
Bro Mans got me out of class I had to watch this

Thats a great idea!!
Sorry for the lack of understanding, I’m confused when you say hold the bottle upside down but don’t unscrew it

Carson’s Aquatics you should put live plants 🌱 behind the peice of drift wood.I love your videos Carson’s Aquatics
Jayquan Hilton I was thinking that too lol maybe it can use some dwarf hair grass and maybe some like long plants 🌱
the cichlids would absolutely destroy any plants he puts in there
If been watching Carson since 5k subs. He channel honestly grew so fast

This setup is amazing! Can't wait to see some fish in it!
The family is growing🔥
Oh you might want to bake that piece of wood because it carries other bacteria that can affect/kill the fish.
He already boiled it bro
But It can also put in healthy bacteria and Carson seems to know what he’s doing unlike some UA-camrs so he probably made sure it was fine
