There's something about Cory and the way he comes across in a video that is so welcoming and interesting at the same time. I could sit there and watch him talk about just about anything.
kyle sproul if you could read the obvious body language, they make himself feel uncomfortable as well by his tendancy to curl his bottom lip upwards when he speaks at close range. This helps to mask his insecurities, probably because of people like you .
And yet, he'll show you a massive Chinese fish store with 100's of fish packed into tiny tanks and say they're in great care. Cory has become just a fish seller. He doesn't give a shit about the fish. Honest? Sure. O.k.
That’s awesome tank Cory is one person I would 100% trust he knows his stuff very experienced glad there is someone like him I can learn a lot thanks Cory
Beautiful and so nice to see a huge tank with nice smaller schooling fish, rocks, plants etc. Most guys plop in one big monster fish or two, no plants, boring tank to me. To each their own.
Tanks for larger fish are usually more barren because the larger fish will destroy your setup. They bash around and dislodge plants and decor so their tanks are generally pretty spartan.
Even though I’ve watched every one of Corey’s videos, still interesting to see. I always appreciate how honest he is with products and his reasons for doing certain things
My dream tank for the living room in my made up dream house. I love the fact that he did it this, it would bring so much relaxation for me to watch and to work on.
Always a cool video when you guys get together! Man I can't believe that about a year ago I had no idea people made videos like this for the hobby on UA-cam and since then I've found so many other creators with this passion and it's been amazing to get to watch the videos. Just wanted to say thank you for everything you guys do. Best part of my day is watching these videos.
Dean Card me to i had no idea i was living off the grid up to about a year and a 1/2 ago. How good is it. Watching this hobby and seeing so much passion its a great community
hey I might need your help my name is Jack Akana How come every time I have to change the filters at what kind of food I should be feeding the fish can you please help me out thank you
Wow! I've got a 160L a 260L and I'm getting a 315L! I'm learning it's not a cheap hobby!! But it's so addictive! All I need now is a bigger house!! Great tank man!!
You don't spend money for something which harms you or your family....I love fish too since I was a child and probably spent mote money than I should but...I know people who spent much more money on psychotherapy which they really did not need. My fish tank is my therapy that how I look at this
@@simosavustaja9420 Ive actually been considering a 500 gallon tank but my house is too small for it lmao and I actually started looking for land to build a house with the tank in mind.
I have looked many times at the 800 gallon tank, but this video was very easy to watch and informative. Cory is a good guy, and makes you feel at home. This is more interesting to me now as I am beginning my 3rd large plywood and glass aquarium. The new build is 1030 gallons w/ 240 gallon sump. The way this is scaped and operating is fantastic ! Thanks !
I love setups like this so much more than most of the traditional monster tanks with 1 or 2 massive fish in a bare tank, it looks like a section of river got put in a box.
I actually designed my pee wee 75g based on this video! It’s just an fx6 with a 36w pond sterilizer and 3.0 light (from the co-op) but it’s amazing. Thanks for recommending such great products!
Great monster tank, love the combination of tiger barbs and clown loaches. Archerfish are awesome - love the mottled/marbled pattern. And I have a feeding hole too, I call it my mouth!
Great video Rob! I have always been in love with barbs, and the Tiger Barbs of Cory's are great to look at! Would have loved it if it were green sumatran tiger barbs, it would definitely add more color to this already great tank!
Its always neat to see this tank and hear what all is in it . The fish the filtration and the stand and everything in between. Thank you for sharing it with us!
The trick is to have a tank with minimal water changes instead of daily water changes. I have a 240 gallon discus tank that has not had a water change since September 2019. 13 discus fish with a 70 gallon sump. I add 10 gallons a week for evaporation and 5 gallon water change weekly to vacuum the rock substrate in the tanks fish bowl. Filtration is key
I'd watch you even without the 800 gallon! It is awesome though!!! I love the archer fish and the elephant nose cats! All of them are cool looking but I enjoy watching them the most!!! Thanks for sharing so much knowledge and information!
Cory at Aquarium Co-op ..... the most honest businessman I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with. When he was talking about the guy selling auto feeders they both laughed about not receiving the product 3 weeks later... sheesh!! I order from www.Aquariumcoop.com so I’m happy I don’t have to worry about that!!
That 800 gallon tank is the equivalent of joining 14.5 55 gallon aquariums. That is a lot of water!!! And a lot of work. I love these monster size tanks, but I'm glad I'm not the one doing the maintenance.
Just get a Wye PVC check valve. They have a weighted plug so they don't fail like the crappy flap valves. They have a threaded clean out cap so you can replace the O ring every couple years if you need to. They don't fail and are only about $35. If you prefer them up top then by all means. I'm 5'4" so working under a stand isn't an issue for me. I used those check valves for 6 years on marine tanks with zero trouble. I run pretty big sumps on tanks because, more water. Again, great tank man.
Those little barbs and loaches got it made in a tank that big, ive always like tiger barbs but they dont play well with others, im probably gonna have a dedicated barb tank sometime
What pond canister filter is that? Good idea. I like the decor...should have kept that with that goldfish. Although, those fancy types might be best in a bare tank..man,those Goldfish hoods and long finnage sure are susceptible to every disease there is.
A friend gave me an Archer fish....he didn't know what it was until it spit in my friend Scott's face....for a month I tried to find the leak in my aquarium because every morning my kitchen table was wet!
There's something about Cory and the way he comes across in a video that is so welcoming and interesting at the same time. I could sit there and watch him talk about just about anything.
Honest, nice, and is very knowledgeable about the hobby. What's not to like right? He also has great deals.
You should check out his presentation about guppies.
His teeth make me uncomfortable tho
kyle sproul if you could read the obvious body language, they make himself feel uncomfortable as well by his tendancy to curl his bottom lip upwards when he speaks at close range. This helps to mask his insecurities, probably because of people like you .
Arcanum Dweller it's nothing money can't fix and he's got plenty of that
I think it is really cool that Cory is allways so honest about sponsoring!
Cory lies a lot about products that he is pushing to sell
I love Cory's honesty. "Why did you decide to do this?" "For the views."
That's why I like Cory.
I subbed the second I heard that.
And yet, he'll show you a massive Chinese fish store with 100's of fish packed into tiny tanks and say they're in great care. Cory has become just a fish seller. He doesn't give a shit about the fish. Honest? Sure. O.k.
@PC Principle how do you know what he felt inside?
@Juji Amen-ptah lol
How can you not love this guy, honest and knowledgeable and presents well
That’s awesome tank Cory is one person I would 100% trust he knows his stuff very experienced glad there is someone like him I can learn a lot thanks Cory

Joey DIY haha
Tanks for larger fish are usually more barren because the larger fish will destroy your setup. They bash around and dislodge plants and decor so their tanks are generally pretty spartan.
I love a large tank stocked and decorated like this too! There are so many environments to mimic with a diverse amount of fish.
I agree way more interesting then a empty tank with 1 fish
Different strokes for different folks
Even though I’ve watched every one of Corey’s videos, still interesting to see. I always appreciate how honest he is with products and his reasons for doing certain things
I love that he is honest about getting the tank for a lot of UA-cam views. Not many people would be upfront about that.
I don’t know why some people dislike the video, think they are little jealous about the video....
Love the tank I can’t stop watching this 😘😍
15000 dollars? Wow. Worth the money for such a beautiful aquarium!
I am so happy that Cory is such an awesome person. His personality gets me every single time!! Also, his store is local for me and I just love it!!
I wish I lived next to this guy's shop. I love to watch his videos and listen to his knowledge.
My dream tank for the living room in my made up dream house. I love the fact that he did it this, it would bring so much relaxation for me to watch and to work on.
Imagine how many neon tetras you can put in there 😂😂
Brilliant Bettas at least 20
Imagine a betta sorority
Griffin Egan sarcasm?
Ehh about 2 or 3
illmatic826 yea 20 is alittle overstocked

When you need bigger house because of aquarium, then you know your a real hobbyist.
When you add a room to your house for your tanks...

Alexander Kotov agree I spend a total of somewhere near 2500 dollars, and my tank is just a 120 gallon
@@simosavustaja9420 Ive actually been considering a 500 gallon tank but my house is too small for it lmao and I actually started looking for land to build a house with the tank in mind.

Those tiger barbs are really beautiful when schooled like that!
That's over 6,400 lbs.!!!
5150 Logan
I’d think 8,000! I’ve heard a tank will weigh 10 pounds to the gallon
You have to account for all the rocks and also the substrate
10lbs per gallon is a good rule of thumb for a fully decorated freshwater tank with water in it.
@@zekethefishgeek8690 you have to also count the súper thick glass haha that is heavy!
best filter setup ever dude holy shit. the series with the simple backwash prefilter and a tiny overhead sump is absolutely genius
Cory is one of the honest person on YT have to say without attitude and so nice person
I have a friend in Florida who's grandma has a 800 gal tank filled with amazing fish, It was truly amazing
I love setups like this so much more than most of the traditional monster tanks with 1 or 2 massive fish in a bare tank, it looks like a section of river got put in a box.

The reaction of Cory when you say the concrete cracked lol ! Epic 👌 hahahah
Interesting fish selection, love to see it when everything matures.
Eheim makes amazing filters. I ran 3 of them, 2217 in my tank and they were reliable and simple to maintain.
I have four of them
Great monster tank, love the combination of tiger barbs and clown loaches. Archerfish are awesome - love the mottled/marbled pattern. And I have a feeding hole too, I call it my mouth!
That is one of my dreams... Huge tank with lots of small fish. Looks cool!
Oh man imagine that thing filled with 800 tetras
Great video Rob! I have always been in love with barbs, and the Tiger Barbs of Cory's are great to look at! Would have loved it if it were green sumatran tiger barbs, it would definitely add more color to this already great tank!
Beautiful. Would like to see a pull back shot to see the entire setup.
Awesome choice of fish. 👍👍😊😊❤️❤️❤️🐠🐟🐠🐟
Great vid and good job Corey for being honest and not stealing money
i swear this guy has that "Used car salesman" constant smile :)
Wow.. that´s a lot of water... I´d love to get in there and swim along with those Tigers...congrats for such a great aquarium bro.
That's my dream aquarium right there. First class.
Its always neat to see this tank and hear what all is in it .
The fish the filtration and the stand and everything in between. Thank you for sharing it with us!

Beautiful video ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Amazing!!! I am a huge fan of Barb's. And the loaches with them makes it look great.. nice touch man
Nice he explained the "psychology" of a loach as well!!!
OMG I love tiger barbs !!! But I also love Cory & Rob lol, always quality content and beautiful fish & shrimp! Addicted to your videos. LOL

Nice tank man 👍
If I'm ever looking up to get an 800 gallon aquarium. I'm definitely getting peacock bass.
Insane stuff 👌👌👌
Just beautiful! Great video:)
it certainly does deserve likes. that size of tank should be a reef imo but its awesome none the less!
Awesome Fishtank! 👍 I love it when you boys get together, I also agree Fluval make some great fishkeeping equipment!

Yeah well I just got my Blue Rams to spawn in my 25 gallon so who's the bigshot now?
I'd watch you even without the 800 gallon! It is awesome though!!! I love the archer fish and the elephant nose cats! All of them are cool looking but I enjoy watching them the most!!! Thanks for sharing so much knowledge and information!

Awesome set up! Thanks for sharing the knowledge.
