Im so sorry for your loss. My mum used to play a lot of Bob Dylan growing up. She passed away this year. I'm also grateful my mum done the same for me. A lot of his songs take me right back to the times when my mum would pull her speaker out and we'd listen to them together and sing along ❤️ Had the opportunity to take her to see him live at the Sydney opera House. I cherish those memories. Do you have a favourite Bob Dylan song ?
Man thinks 'cause he rules the Earth, he can do with it as he please And if things don't change soon, he will Oh, man has invented his doom First step was touching the moon Now, there's a woman on my block She just sit there as the night grows still She say who, gonna take away his license to kill? Now, they take him, and they teach him, and they groom him for life And they set him, on a path where he's bound to get ill Then they bury him with stars Sell his body like they do used cars Now, there's a woman on my block She just sit there facin' the hill She say who gonna take away his license to kill? Now he's hell-bent for destruction, he's afraid and confused And his brain has been mismanaged with great skill And all he believes are his eyes And his eyes, they just tell him lies But there's a woman on my block Sitting there in a cold chill She say who gonna take away his license to kill? Even noisemaker, spirit maker Heartbreaker, backbreaker Leave no stone unturned May be an actor in a plot That might be all that you got 'Til your error you clearly learn Now he worships at an altar, of a stagnant pool And when he sees his reflection, he's fulfilled Oh, man is opposed to fair play He wants it all and he wants it his way Now, there's a woman on my block She just sit there as the night grows still She say who wanna take away his license to kill?
Everyday I pray against evil. Everyday, I pray that God will take the scales off the eyes of the people so they will see evil and stand against it. God is in control I rebuke magic, witchcraft and the demonic. God bless you and may His Holy Light be part of your life.

One of Bob Dylan's most beautiful poems, and to crown the moment and make it even more historic, we have guest appearances by Mark Knopfler, Mick Taylor and Alan Clark. Thank you so much for posting this fantastic historical record.
His last album “Rough and Rowdy Ways “ is an absolute masterpiece..an incredibly poignant and beautifully written and played collection of new songs..I’ve listened to it at least 50 times since I downloaded it..Long Live Mr.Dylan ,the man with endless lyrical and melodic abilities..🏆
This is his genius of composing his lyrics for the world to hear. The Album “ Rough and Rowdy Ways “ is absolutely Brilliant! Thus is just a phase in his life, as he continues to write his music, and ; as his tour’s, never stop. 🌟. Thank goodness! He is a 20th Century Laureate, Piet and Political, outspoken about the Dissatusfaction of the political scene- since he began releasing his first songs. It is indeed poignant, and well received by all who understand his Music. Thank you Trader Joe. ! Excellent Comment. :). Peace .
Bob Dylan is simply amazing. This song is true testament to his greatness as a composer and singer. The man might some day leave us but his work will leave on for ever.
I reckon! - Recognized the background guitar twiddling and had to scroll up to check just after reading your comment here. I *thought* Mr. Zimmerman looked younger. Mr. Knophler does too: back when they all had hair... and is that Mick Taylor?! - Who's the good gent on bass? That's one solid heart beat!
I don't think that I will ever forget the first time that I heard Bob Dylan. My mother was a big Bob Dylan fan. She started listening to him in 1961 or so, when she saw him perform onstage as a guest of Joan Baez. He was practically unknown then. It may have even been before his first record came out. Now fast forward 10 years to around 1971. I was a kid in elementary school, and one day my mother came home with a copy of Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits. She put on Subterranean Homesick Blues, and I remember that as soon as the drums and electric guitar kicked in, I started rolling on the floor and laughing uncontrollably. The wild beat and the crazy rhythm of the words were like nothing that I had ever heard before. We played it over and over again. Bob's music has been a huge part of my life for half a century since then. I keep listening, and each time I hear things that I didn't here before. What a truly amazing artist.
Bob is unbelievable. I am lost for words to describe every song Dylan wrote. Genius /lecturer /professor etc. This guy is like Picasso art work. His music is implanted in my brain. Cannot be erased. Wow! BOB u are amazing. You give us a reason to stay alive. Bless you man👌👏👍

I am completely mesmerized by Dylan’s songwriting and his work. I just stumbled upon this and am completed in awe by his talents of storytelling and conjuring up the emotions no one does. Dylan and his work changed my life and I am grateful that even though listening to Dylan for more than a decade, we still have these surprise gems to discover.
You got to and I mean GOT TO look up Dylan doing this song on Letterman. It's stripped down and hard...Bob with a three piece band. Knocked my socks off when I first saw it and still moves me to this day.
@Bob Dylan you're blessed with a special gift, a God given talent to speak for and speak to us gen xers. I was born in Savannah on the first day of spring and they soon took across the river to the SC Lowcountry and that's where I call home. Please keep blending your poetry to music; it's keeps me alive. One quick question, you sang "Ruthie says come see her In her honky-tonk lagoon" any chance you can share any other details about Ruthie?
It would be a great honor for me !! I've been your rock fan since I'm right! the problem would be to give here my personal data such as email and cell phone number

What a great song this is. I think it's an under appreciated song. Almost every line could be expounded upon. It's one of Dylan's songs that he couldn't have written when he first started out. It takes some living first, before someone can write a song like this.
Always was. And sadly always will be. In 2023 the license to kill is being heinously expanded at warp speed and the bloodshed out of control. Will we ever stop glorifying this license to kill? And millions past and present defend their murderous ways ...."With God On (Their) Side." Sob.
I never get tired of this song. Love the whole INFIDELS album too. And you can't go wrong with this band that Bob assembled: Mark Knopfler & Alan Clark of Dire Straits, former Rolling Stone Mick Taylor, and reggae duo Sly & Robbie. Pretty much the same line-up on the whole Infidels record.

In grade school I read a biography about Bob Dylan. I always thought I was experiencing the "Mandela Effect" or whatever it is because this biography said that Mark Knopfler recorded music with Dylan. Thank you, Mr. Dylan, for uploading this. You both are legends in your own right. I seen you in Toledo in 2007, you rocked the city and gave me a love for blues music. Charley Patton, Son House, Jimmie Strothers and many more would be proud of what you did for the music world.
Since I was 8 years old I've loved Bob. I heard "Like a Rollin Stone" and was hooked for life lol. His music speaks to me in a way I can't understand but it brings me to life. The music just flows through me and I feel alive again. It really helps when I'm having a bad bout of depression ❤️
Bobby. I've been listening to your music and wonderful marriage if the words you write with the music you added since I was a teenager in the 60's. I'm 70 years old now and still love your creations. In my lifetime, I've been blessed to have had the opportunity to hear and enjoy a plethora of music that I was able to enjoy for years. I haven't stopped listening to the old or new songs. The pre- electric era, the post electric era. The era I never thought would be. Never knowing what genre would come next, I've been blessed to enjoy all music and thrilled for the opportunities given to my generation The variety of music we've been able to hear and love over the decades in my life pass me. Some people are stuck in one type of music and don't realize what's playing out here in the sound waves waiting for us to hear. I have a sister stuck in Rock n Roll. It's a great genre of music, but she refuses to hear Country music or classic music or anything but. I'm grateful that I have been able to open my ears to hear the best of the best and enjoy music for what it is. Our generation has such a variety waiting for us to enjoy. I have been living a wonderful life hearing everything available to me. My cousin has a tape if Native American music she's played for me when we were on a road trip. It was awesome to hear. Without her playing it, I may never have had that opportunity to hear such amazing sounds written so many decades ago. I wasn't born when it was created. But it was a great experience to enjoy it. The things we don't know exist, is a joy when we're able to hear something for the 1st time ever. Our lives are full of so many surprises and we really need to surprise ourselves more often than we do.
Thank you for sharing such very well thought out words. I completely agree with you with my open mind & open ears from the same grateful & blessed generation. Happy 4th of July weekend. :)
Bobby. I doubt I'll stop listening to your creations or others. When I say I love music and add that I love all music, I'm not cutting the meaning short. I mean what I say. I'm happy to be able to enjoy hearing music and the words written for the music played with them. I'm glad so many artists are responsible for all of us and that they add to our listening pleasure because they want to. Not because they have to. Not because someone told them they should, but because it's the right thing to do to write the words, add the music, and play them together for the enjoyment it gives us T the time. Our blessings come because it's all happening at the right time. Because working together with words, music and voices can bring happiness to human beings that they wouldn't experience without joining all together to reap the benefit of joining as one out of many. Thank you all for being involved in creating the enjoyment humans desire in life to continue on in happiness. Thank you !!!!
Crystal Belle 2: When I write, I simply write. I don't think about what I'm writing ahead of time. My words are not well thought. They simply flow out without thinking. I write. That's what I do and sometimes I go back and read what I've written an amaze myself that I've said what I said. I've been writing since I was a young girl. It's just what I do. I've written things over the years which I'd love to have published one day. Hoping after I've left this earth, that my children choose to attempt to publish some of what I've written. It could happen, or not. I'm just a woman who's been writing words, and putting them together without thinking about them for decades. I appreciate your comment. Thank you.

Thank you very much for your honest words on my song, I could not have done it without the support i get from fans like you, I really appreciate your support for me, keep listening to my song and always be happy.
Wow. One of the best comment I have come across in a while, thank you for your comment! How your day been
One of Bob Dylan's most beautiful poems, and to crown the moment and make it even more historic, we have guest appearances by Mark Knopfler, Mick Taylor and Alan Clark. Thank you so much for posting this fantastic historical record.
This is the COOLEST for a FAN.
And Sly and Robbie !!
@@garyhosty9874 Robbie is really playing lead in this song
Reminder or heads up, Mr Knopfler produced the album, perhaps not just a guest appearance 🙃
They’re aren’t guests they play on whole album
What about Sly and Robbie
It’s an absolute masterpiece
His last album “Rough and Rowdy Ways “ is an absolute masterpiece..an incredibly poignant and beautifully written and played collection of new songs..I’ve listened to it at least 50 times since I downloaded it..Long Live Mr.Dylan ,the man with endless lyrical and melodic abilities..🏆
Thanks I didn’t know he was still writing so much! ✨🌎✨
Yes, totally agree, it's absolutely amazing and vastly underrated, it's some of his best work
This is his genius of composing his lyrics for the world to hear. The Album “ Rough and Rowdy Ways “ is absolutely Brilliant!
Thus is just a phase in his life, as he continues to write his music, and ; as
his tour’s, never stop. :). Peace .
It is a brilliant album. You are totally right !

RIP Robbie. Genius bass player and inspiring musician

Bob Dylan is simply amazing. This song is true testament to his greatness as a composer and singer. The man might some day leave us but his work will leave on for ever.
I honestly don't want to think about that day 💕💕
@Bob Dylan always Bob 🌹
@Bob Dylan I've tried but it's hard to get tickets. Nearly always sold out xxx
What a line-up that band is. Dylan the one who just keeps giving!
I reckon!
- Recognized the background guitar twiddling and had to scroll up to check just after reading your comment here. I *thought* Mr. Zimmerman looked younger. Mr. Knophler does too: back when they all had hair... and is that Mick Taylor?!

Which album is this from?
Loved Bob since I bought my first of his albums in 1977. I'm 60 now and I have grow up with his music.
I wrote down the lyrics to his "Masters of War" in my "Diary, from 72 - 74" 🕊️☮️🕊️🙏☮️
Same here since I was 14. I'm 60 now.
I've loved his music since the 60s - I'm 73 now and I've definitely grown up with his music - and so much more that he introduced me to.
Best music around nothing else like it i was born in 2001 i grew up on johnny dylan denver couldnt imagine a world without their music

@Bob Dylan you're blessed with a special gift, a God given talent to speak for and speak to us gen xers. What a great song this is. I think it's an under appreciated song. Almost every line could be expounded upon. It's one of Dylan's songs that he couldn't have written when he first started out. It takes some living first, before someone can write a song like this.

Thank you.
@@wendyanne5894 you are very welcome. Your words flow so beautifully is why I thought them premeditated LoL. It was definitely a compliment instead of an insult, and even more so knowing it comes naturally from you.
