By far one of the best all encompassing videos I have seen to date!! I'm trying. I just discovered your channel. You have a new subscriber. I am 56 and I go to the gym alot and I think I 'm a pretty decent looking dude for my age but I still cannot get rid of the little bit of love handle belly fat. I have to admit...All these years I was completely unaware of the fact that YES you should be counting fat content as well...better late than never. I just wanna say one more thing. There are so many fitness and heath content providers on UA-cam. These people all look good but most of them live an immoral lifestyle. I saw one the other day and the guy was taking about something called "body count". I never heard of this before. It's about how much sex you can have with different partners, the motivation being getting in shape and being rich and pursuing what this world has to offer. Nevertheless I will not be watching anything from his channel ever again. You mentioned your wife. That immediately tells me your disposition; Awesome. I will be watching and learning from your channel. I am hoping you're not one of these guys that flaunts his blessings. It doesn't look like it on your page though. Stay humble, God Bless!!

Thomas. I'm still asking about why now, your recommendation is to NOT break a fast with rice cakes, but your program, purchased in 2016, one option is breaking a fast with rice cakes and Almond butter. This is also in some of your videos, but your recent videos say it's not great. Please clarify.

I am an over the road truck driver. Listen to him! I lost 60 pounds in 7 months doing this. Some of the meat I bought was already fully cooked, but I pretty much did a high protein low carb diet with a mini air fryer. Worked out at planet fitness every couple of days and the pounds rolled right off. Even when not in a deficit at first, you can slowly increase time inbetween meals as you adjust to a low sugar and low carb diet. If you’re pre diabetic, there’s a chance your blood sugar can get to healthy levels doing this.

Dude I work at Walmart in the meat department. This is a life saver for my lunch breaks. I've been sticking to about 1500 calories a day. Drinking muscle milk and salads alot, the occasional beef jerky and parfaits and I've dropped 23 pounds in a couple weeks. Down from 316 to 293. Gonna keep this up, having the knowledge of what to eat makes it so much easier.

I have been using the Oikos triple zero for about a month. I usually eat about half of it (still not a measurer, just watching the carbs for the moment) and I add some sugar free jello cheesecake pudding mix, next to no calories. It so far has satiated my sweet tooth. If I continue seeing results, will start baking my own keto cheesecakes. This product is a winner.

I understood that but only because my cousin is dyslexic. Not saying you are but that was very hard to read. For anyone that needs an explanation: They say to cut the sweet tooth together, don't get that sugar free stuff.@@gingermonroe4153
And BTW I agree. Sugar free usually has ONE of the following:
Sucralose (bad IDC what ANYONE says)
Aspartame (bad IDC what ANYONE says)
Acesulfame (bad IDC what ANYONE says)
Stevia, Monkfruit, Erythritol etc IMO The first one is good (Its a plant FFS) the second one is supposed to give you heart issues and I haven't done a ton of research on Monk Fruit.
If you're gonna do SUGAR just put fruit it in. Forgo the substitutes. Oikos Triple Zero has Stevia and I love it. I recently started to do oikos Pro tho because it has 23 grams of protein in .75 cups so I do a little fruit and honey OR I mix it with Dry Cottage cheese which = MORE protein. It's really hard to find dry cottage cheese.

I’ve picked up no less than 3 actionable tips from this video. Compare Protein v total calories, opt for lower fat proteins, weighing sugar free with a bit of artificial sweetener v full sugar sauces. Great stuff! Thank you!!!

Respect to all you folks managing your diet and weight loss.
I retired April 2023 and am trying to eat better being home all the time now.
It’s the weekends that kill me. I just veer off badly. But I’ll keep trying.
    Kudos to you nutrition warriors.
