- Power by the hour gets some of the nicest vehicles around to modify. This Beautiful Black GT350 R is no exception. It receives a set of Kooks Stepped long tube headers, High flow cats, Kooks Cat back.
This mod gets rid of the variable exhaust.
I also give a walk around about some of the unknown features of the New Shelby GT350R.

The regular GT350 can come come with the oil cooler, trans cooler and rear diff cooler. This video is perfect for people saying you can't get a radio with the R model.

Ok so I guess you have worked on more these than Donny renfro? Like seriously? Internet mechanics piss me off. Do you know his torque wrench well? Have you used it day in and out?
That's what i noticed too lol. I was like wait a minute, the wrench clicks for a reason, but he literally went more after that. Probably another 10ft lbs. Not good.
I think you can get the MGW hybrid and regain the reverse lock collar. Center gauges are slightly different, drops the vacuum gauge for oil temp.
it has active exhaust and im almost 100% positive that the valves were closed in the video so it wasn't loud

that_green 4.6 Kooks, American Racing Headers ARH, and Stainless Works headers make the best high quality craftsmanship kinda headers that money can buy, JBA makes pretty good headers too, pacesetter is trash, low buck, low quality headers, I'd never put a set on my car unless it was an extreme budget build!

I'm sorry but the gt350 and gt350r were ment to be loud. This just killed the car. Going with kooks was a great choice but need to get rid of the mufflers and go with somthing like the thrush rattler or a super 44. But I will give it credit for how quiet it is it still sounds not half bad.

@@venom_dave there's no point in dumping a shit ton of money into buying a car that's ment to be loud then dumping a shit ton of money into an exhaust kit to keep it quiet. You should have just went an got a v6 or I4 at that point. There's just no logic in it. Plus If it's quite then there's a heavy flow restriction. Kooks headers are supposed to help with increasing flow and scavenging. When You put mufflers like that on it, your just negating any performance increases that would have been seen by it.

I wouldn't do 85 gas on my GT 350, I wouldn't remove that beautiful sounding factory exhaust for that Toyota prius sounding exhaust. But to each his own ..

Hopefully the sound is off on the video. it sounds like when the tech is torquing the wheels on he keeps tightening even after the torque wrench clicks. Very bad for the tool, and over torqued as well though not that bad. real bad for the tool though.
