I really appreciate your video/info, I am collecting all the possible information, experiences and comments before purchasing my first machine for my company.
Check out the Derette 450 (probably the best gas engine chinese mini skids (Honda motor, danfoss triple pumps etc). Or the V1000's they have.. which are diesel (kubota or perkins engines and true pilot controls), basically a bobcat 100 clone.
Cam, on your yellow unit (23hp), i have one similar. i kept dealing with high hydraulic heat. after lots of reading about heat dissipation/heat load and managing pressure resistance and the pressure relief valve. Still to no avail. Turns out that after all that research, the fricking muffler is 6 inches from the cooling fan.....so 450-500F right next to my cooling device. Any ideas on keeping compartment cooler due to the ridiculous heat right next to the heat exchanger? And have you had any issues with that?
i'll just throw my two pennies in. depending on plumbing, just extend the exhaust engine pipe out, 90 degree it straight up, and make sure you don't knock it off on anything. I'd think it's either gonna be american thread sizes with a briggs, or something you can at least obtain pipe parts for somehow. if it's actual standard pipe threads, perhaps even home depot can cut & thread to pretty darn exact lengths?
Would never buy one with narrow tracks. On excavator it throws tracks on rocks. You use skidsteer a lot more to move around than excavator. You want wide tracks. Look how wide track bobcat has. Would be ok if had hydraulic tensioning

Exhaust heat wraps that are used for vehicles and a heat shield.
