I’m like you were. Skeptical on how useful these would be but the argument about ease of on and off definitely makes a lot of sense. Getting in and out of a cab tractor all day does get old.

Nice review Brock 👍👍. Mini - skids are slow for safety. I would love to see a customer owner setting knob to set the desired speed to match their needs. Especially for back dragging.
Fyi...Military tanks are fast, going speeds
0 to 60 mph.
Military technology is generally 10 or more years ahead of what you see on the consumer market - if the product ever does reach the consumer market the price reflects the performance. The military grade thermal optic systems are another example.

Baumalight has a case drain which not everyone has. They also have a MUCH bigger fuel tank thank the Bobcat MT-100. Both of those are a massive plus. I do not like the operating platform switch for operating the boom, They can be slow but often I find myself going so much faster with them because I dont need the extra space for a full size and they turn 100x easier than a full size. I still say I was able to do a driveway faster with my MT-100 than I am my full size Bobcat just because of how nimble it is. Not to mention you arent tearing up the yard half as bad. I ran my Bobcat MT-100 mini skid for 6 months and its a massive game changer and I think they are the next big thing in the construction world
Can you lift the arms or buck while driving? Some machines can't control the bucket while running the tracks
Bobcat skid steers have a 2 speed transmission and i believe go 15 plus mph

Would be cool if you could get a battery one for yard work. Especially if you have a load of solar on a workshop roof.
