    I think Garret and Ned should be put together when doing these, "Americans Try" videos all the time. Ned is always so energetic and tries to find the positive light on the food items and Garret usually seems negative and has a low type energy so they gel a bit more better together. Kind of bounce off each other.

    "This is not an oreo" ITS JUST DIFFERENT just because its different from the american ones doesn't automatically mean its not an oreo, if Japanese people came here to america to try American ones they would say its different as well bc its unique but also Allison was being so rude af, criticizing just because of the shape and form.

    These damn racist American oreos. Sure the Japanese version is smaller and softer and tastes a little different, but they're all still oreos! Can't all oreos, regardless of their color and cream filling, just live in delicious harmony?

      +wertbin I mean, a lot of the cases for Americans (and even for Korean-Canadian like me), oreo is that classic cookie where you lick the cream and dunk it into milk kind of snack.
      I can see why some were saying that it wasn't really a oreo because it really doesn't have that now-almost-tradition kind of lick-dunk type.

  • @extraaccount3630

    Not all Americans will react like the people in the video did...
    Those are just a few people out of a whole country (obviously) so try not to say "Wow Americans are so close-minded to other countries," or some BS like that because these individuals don't represent all of us :3

      +Jayden Crowe Do you have any recommendations for a person who likes lightly sweetened treats?

    • @DoctorBadVibez
      @DoctorBadVibez 8 років тому +1

      +wonderspace90 Try Pocky or Yan Yan. Pocky is almost like a pretzel stick covered with either strawberry or chocolate icing but it's not that super sweet icing thing on Pop Tarts. Yan Yan is pretty much stick cookies but there is a chocolate or strawberry dip, although this dip is sweeter than Pocky, you can control how much dip to put on the chocolate. From experience I can say that with Japanese snacks, the chocolate stuff is usually not as over-sweetened, it's usually the least "enhanced" flavor out of the entire gamut with strawberry being the sweetest. If you get a chance, do try the "Men's Pocky" (insert millions of jokes here), it's a dark chocolate version, oddly delectable.

    Japan has normal "American" oreos too. They are the most common ones you find in the store. Buzzfeed only chose the seasonal or interesting flavored oreos for the video. The US has seasonal flavors like those lemon oreos. There's no competition, American Oreos vs. Japanese Oreos. Why would anyone be proud to be an American over Oreos?

      I have no idea... My friend is Korean and brings them from korea really often. He dropped 300$ on them the last time he went. They only have like 3 flavors: Tropical, and 2 other ones I can't remember xD. But they are literally the best tasting food I have ever had. They have the brightest, most delicious, and addicting flavors I've ever had. Whenever he gives them to me I suck them till they are nothing. And when I eat them, I literally get the chills. IT sounds strange, but they are the most amazing thing in the world. If they were sold in America they'd beat American starburst 10x over.
      As a little note, my friend sells a pack of 6 for 5-10$ when they're only 2$ a pack in Korea. If you ever get the chance... TRY THEM.
