No joke, there’s been multiple people on the S Class forums raving about this truck and cross shopping a used CPO S and one of these. They’re totally different vehicles, but the interior of these things are just insane. Especially for a truck.
Bentley Bentayga had a few hobby themed special edition cars for like falconeering, fly fishing and skeet shooting, the Range Rover Autobiography also had a skeet shooting special edition.
Only if evevrything works in harmony in a RAM. I had 2003 F150, getting old so changed to a 2019 brand spanking new RAM Laramie loaded model, nothing worked properly, lights all over the dash, transmission, 4x4, electronics horrible. Liked the large Tesla style display but hated it after, only large GPS map it was good for later. No anti collision feature. Returned it, and went for trusted 2019 F150 Lariat trim with moonroof, Anti collision warning, everything works as it should, love the truck, mileage is better, and lots of power in 2.7V6 twin turbo especially at less than 3000rpm range. It is a true workhorse as well as a lovely family vehicle.
This truck is sooo nice! A hobby-themed car I can think of is the 1974-76 Dodge Dart Sport Hang 10. It had a surf theme with different pattern seats, orange carpet, special de-cals (not deckles) and a fold down rear seat to put in your surfboard inside.
I have a 2022 Ram Longhorn Ecodiesel CC. Once you own the truck for a little bit, you become a master on the 12" screen and all the things it can do. No worries.
My dad has the Limited version and it's so nice inside. They aren't kidding when they say attention to detail. And it is SO quiet inside and comfortable to ride in. Best in class for sure.
I've never been a truck guy but I watched this review and went and test drove a Longhorn. I liked it so much that I traded in a Jaguar F-Pace S for this truck.

"Gun engraving" technical name for it is filigree engraving, it's a general metalworking technique not limited to guns. This is a super nice interior though, Dodge seems to know what people actually care about in interiors.
Ford has nothing over Ram, especially since they dropped the F-150 Powerstroke diesel because it had power and torque figures - and drivability - that was less than Ram could produce.
Very nice truck! I'm more of a Ford guy, but Ram knocked it out of the park with this truck! Also, there is a Gucci themed Fiat 500...not very well known

The Pontiac Stinger concept was the first thing that came to mind when it comes to themed cars. The thing was supposed to come with 2 vacuum cleaners, a portable radio, coolers in the door panels, a hose, portable stove, etc. Basically everything you could ever need for a beach trip. Great video once again boys!
Such a bargain. So tempting to get one to replace my minivan. But how’s the resale value on these? F150 has high resale value, but can’t find much info on the Ram.

I've had mine since last September. It's still a joy to drive every time I get in it. There's nothing like flying back from Jamaica in an Airbus for 5 hours and still looking forward to the three hour drive home in you Longhorn :), oh yeh!
One of the most iconic hobby themed vehicles in Australia is the Holden Sandman. It's a ute/panelvan (with an enclosed canopy on the back). RIP Holden :(
I said that in the original comment but the issue I thought of is that Chrysler doesn’t have this price range for that they can pull this off because they only have this brand for trucks but also they would be getting over there head and we all know what happens when they got over there head bankrupt and reliability issues and they would have to put more into the interior then the engine and stuff and we don’t want that
@@Lord_ofcinder To each their own, but I dislike the current Chevy and GMC design on their trucks. If you think this ones fat and blobby, take a look at the Rebel. Looks more tough. The Longhorn as explained in the video, is meant to be a cruiser sort of truck than a work truck.
Yeah the exterior of the GMC looks better. But without question, the interior of the RAM is by far the best. And for Ford, I would say is a mix of the 2.
The eco light is the Hemi's MDS (Multi Displacement System). Mostly only comes on during highway cruising, deactivating 4 cylinders to save fuel. In the last gen with the 6 speed auto you could actually hear when it switched.

"Eco" pops up in the cluster when the MDS (multi displacement system) is running in 4 cylinder mode, not because of the 48 volt battery. Most modern Hemi's have this feature. Nice review as always!
Buy the Ecodiesel and you dint have to worry about the Eco mode, cylinder deactivation, shutting off when idling, hybrid battery issues, or anything like that. It's just straight grunt, pulling power.
I got one in January. All I can say is wow still. Got 10 Thou kilometres. So far so good and still enjoy the luxury and ride. Gas mileage even improved greatly in the last month.
Thank you for reviewing this I had a 17 Ram 2500 longhorn and now have the 19 3500 SRW and it is a major improvement just the refinement. And I agree the limited is above the longhorn but I picked the longhorn due to its character inside. Great review and I’m start saying longhorn the way you guys say it.
Most importantly, how does it ride when following 4 feet away from the vehicle in front of you? This is the prime road position for 80% of pick-up drivers, so we need to know!
Me and a lot of other people will miss the classic crosshair on the upper trim levels but the 2019 is great update to the truck. They have that special edition hydro blue 2019 ram that is all new but with the classic front end, I have a feeling that's going to keep it's value for a little while, I'm hoping it depreciates tho so I can eventually buy a 2019 4x4 hydro blue from someone someday lol
Guys a lot of what you mentioned about the interior is not new. It’s very similar to my Luxury Brown and White Gold 16’ LLH 3500. I built and purchased mine with the Cattle Tan and Black interior like the model you tested.
Nice truck! I know that it would never be done because the market is too small, but I would love to see them make something that well detailed in a steam punk theme.

your point on the sirius traffic is 100% true. Tried it out for 3 months in my GLC Absolutely horrible at least in ontario. 80% of roads dont even display traffic and when they actually do its generally completely wrong.

ive taken GL series on these on trade, I've had a guy buy a Limited who was cross shopping me off a Bentley! Said the interior was nicer...

With current GM offerings all I can say is meh. You have to spend so much just to get the 6.2 and the interior just doesn't cut it.

It's an awesome truck, possibly the best truck out there right now. BTW, if you need extra punch/pickup, the 3.92 rear axle ratio will do the trick.
