Three things I will have to add as someone with experience doing water shaders. Firstly, the refraction and glass shader nodes perform basically the same task but the glass also has proper fresnel built in already, so the refraction bdsf is redundant. Secondly, the colour ramp does not give a gradient if it is used like this, as you need an existing gradient into it, with this setup you will just get the median colour of the ramp. Thirdly, with the 4.3 update you should replace the principled volume with a volume scatter set to "Fournier-Forand" as this is already made to accurately represent a water-like volume.
Yeah, learning's overrated. "Understanding fundamentals so you can innovate and work yourself through problems is a scam, just give me the answers to the test so I can copy them." Gotta love the 'preset generation' mentality.
@@kaydevious Not at all what I meant, I can't speak for anyone else. There are MANY tutorials that will teach you the basics of Blender, some of us appreciate not having to wade through the basics just to get to the 'meat' of the subject matter. Learning is not the same for everyone. Best regards.

Awesome! Thank you for that
Looks great! Thank you
Glad you like it!
Mine looks all pixelated how to fix plsssss
cool tutorial, didnt really work out for me, but easy to follow and back track on
Which HDRI did u use
This was just a HDRI from blender kit 👍
That's how tutorials should be. Not like let's learn the history of blender to gain audience engagement for 9.80 minutes.
totally agree! You sir have my attention.
Appreciate it! 👌 we always try to keep them as short as possible

i know the "learning the entire history of blender" is exaggerated but ive never seen one like that

Thank you thank you very much!!!!,the best tutorial
No problem!
water study lets gooo
woah its simple and effective o:
Thank you!
idk why but mine isnt looking transparent or watery in any way
same bro
Is it a cycles/eivee thing? I think this tutorial uses the cycles engine in blender.
put detail at 6
Nice.
Thanks!
Awesome
Thank you!
I do not see the point of plugging the color ramp node gradient
true, in this setup, there is no function derived from it
WOOOOOW
epic
Hope you enjoyed it 👌
