that whiting you got was on the move. handy tip for targeting whiting is keep the lure moving right back to the boat. soon as you stop they spook. bream and bass love a good pause thou. nice video surface fishing is something i need to practice.
I know the whitig love a moving lure. I had already gave up on that cast so wasnt expecting it haha. Can't believe you havnt got onto it yet mate. Wait until my next video, it will make you want to try it

@@ChrispyyWings finally got out to try some surface fishing for Bream! Tried at Warner's bay early on the morning. Threw a little 50mm savage gear floating stick bait. Matt black body with red eyes. I picked it up on sale months ago for like $4. Caught two decent little bream. About 25 and 30 cm. They absolutely smashed it. It was great fun. I cant wait to try again.
Good stuff, My only real gripe with the splash prawn is the line tends to get caught in the trebles pretty often. You can minimise it by keeping constant tension between the rod tip and the lure but it still happens.

A good mate I used to work with called me crispywings so I added my own touch and stuck with it.
You will do well, just look out for sharks.

I had that issue when I first started using it. Drove me insane and your exact tip is what helped me
