Sugarpens for whiting is alot of fun. I would admit i dont have much luck on the mmd prawns like other people do. I tend to do well with osp bent minnows.

Sugerpens all day. You got the right colour one don't stop winding or walking the lure sometimes faster is better really windy days with the wind behind you throw the pen up and gain more distance coming against the wind chop gets em really fired up.

I crush the barb's down the trebles and sharpen up so there razor sharp to get better penetration and tweak the treble hook points in towards the hook shank. You can tie on a couple of strands of crystal flash if you wanna get fancy.

I’ve stopped buying sugar pens due to the cost going too high I’ve had dozens of them and at one point were my favourite lure but loosing multiple lures on light tackle to massive flathead I’m left with less money and a very important fish now has a lure stuck in it! Do this a dozen times and it’ll ruin a fishing spot!

@manikfishing8904 I'd rate the zing well above my miller. Miller is solid but I've got a cheap shimano that does exactly the same thing. I really like the fuji skeleton grip on the miller
