*Lures looks very realistic even prunked my friends with it.Looks very durable **enjoyable.fishing** recommend sunk very good into the water.Cons: Storage package could be bigger.*
Ahhh the piggery on the tweed river, a whiting spot for generations ...... :) The sugapens in the bigger range account for monster whiting. A 120mm lure often gets smacked by 40cm+ fish
All of your choices are my favorites also but with the addition of the Gladiator Kozami. It's a fantastic Sami profile lure and about 1/3 The price of a Sugarpen. Whiting around the Shoalhaven climb all over it.
We caught Summer whiting in Winter last year at Burrum Heads but due to no rain in Summer there have been no bigger whiting around apart from bubba ones. Hopefully now it has finally rained here I might get a go at Summer whiting again. I have ordered a Hurricane 66 to have a play with. :)
Another great video Johnny. Hope you have a Merry Xmas and Happy New Year! Looking forward to 2020 and more vid's. Giddy up!!! Hopefully I can perfect the retrieve technique to bag a couple of these elbow slappers !
Love ur vids Johnny. Gee i thought i had every whitting popper going but not. My fav is the atomic pop50 in purple shad. Every thing loves it, i caught sum big whitting trevs and my best flatty went 75cm. My 2nd is the zipbait skinny pop in prawny colour, its much like the splash prawn with a nice spit and it has a slight pop sound also when worked to do so. I trick them up also using assists with atomic and egco
Storm gomoku popper with assist hooks. Clear popper with either natural brown or bright pink back has been the lure I have had my best ever whirring sessions on. Thanks for the tips, will have to try the sugar pen eventually
Awesome Whiting video My Lure Box !! Thanks for the videos !! Keep up the amazing work !! And also My Lure Box I have a question for when you are using those Suga Pens lures does it matter if the lure is slow when doing walk the dog or do the whiting like a fast retrieve on walk to dog technique ? And also do you know what size Assist Hooks you use for Whiting on those Suga Pens lures ? Cheers William !!
I have been a massive fan of the sugar pen last season, but this season i have gone to the poppers and have been getting way better fish. They just hit more from the side though
Thanks for sharing I had my hand on a mmd splash prawn in tackle world the other day but I had some other lures that were burning a hole in my wallet so I put it back but who knows if it will turn up on Christmas Day 👍
Mate I have but probably not enough by the sounds. I’m def. gonna take a couple with me next time I’m in for a Jack session and see what happens now you’ve reminded me. Thanks be had a couple other boys share a similar thing. Game on now :) cheers
Ok I will give you a little heads up on them from my perspective. They don’t need up grades so great out of the box. They present them self so well that often They get taken as soon as they hit the surface static. Most important is the retrieve, it likes to be jigged along like a stick bait letting a little slack in the line to give it that extra action. Some times when the water looks fishy but nothing hits it,I will throw my biggest rattling diver a few times and it sometimes works the surface action up. Good luck👍
I've got a 105 version of one of those I bought when up at the Tip. I might try it in the Tweed in summer time. I wonder if those hook-ups are territorial rather than feeding.
We've had whiting hit and hook up 120mm diving hardbodies when fishing some flooded mud flats for barra in Townsville. Trebles in the mouth and all, they can be aggressive buggers at times!

Very helpful for me, just starting to get into light gear fishing.

hi john with the ,,,,mmd splash prawns,,,, i think the tail bibs should be a bit bigger so they splash a lot more to drive them nuts

Hi can you do a review of your boat
I have been a massive fan of the sugar pen last season, but this season i have gone to the poppers and have been getting way better fish. They just hit more from the side though
Excellent where can I purchase these lures
The 50mm piss yellow bubble pop from r2s does well for popping whiting
Haha. I’ll have to take a look at em
Thanks for that was really helpful, looks great fun and getting a idea what lures to try certainly help stay safe
Awesome video mate, thanks !
Did you shorten the length of the assist hooks? If so how?
Thanks for sharing I had my hand on a mmd splash prawn in tackle world the other day but I had some other lures that were burning a hole in my wallet so I put it back but who knows if it will turn up on Christmas Day 👍

What model is your Trion?
I've got a whiting on a halco roosta popper 120 I was laughing my head off !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That’s awesome !!! How bad arse are those whiting that don’t care. Just smash whatever.
I've got a 105 version of one of those I bought when up at the Tip. I might try it in the Tweed in summer time. I wonder if those hook-ups are territorial rather than feeding.
Judging from the size of the lure, at the opening of the video, the whiting is actually not in inerested in eating it.
So weird mate cause weve hooked a handful of em on that lure eh. Stupid stuff. Maybe just aggression not hunger

@@SergeKFishing That's crazy. I have to try it. That would be fun.
I’ve found done similar crazy stuff on big stick baits. Haha
Do jewfish lures
