Good to see you aboard the kayak in purposed fishing apparel. The crutch went in my long duds on Wednesday but I had a spare set for Saturday. I fished Marmong Point/Awaba Bay both days & beat the bad weather. I will not fish the area at weekends due to increased water traffic who cared little for kayakers. Caught a 32cm Tailor on Wednesday & a huge donut on Saturday. My first sessions in that area & shows promise. Plenty of bait balls on the sounder but not much in the way of predators. Amazing how shallow the water is in Awaba Bay. Heck of a paddle back to Marmong Point Boat ramp from Awaba Bay with wind & tide against me. Another kayaker also caught a donut on Saturday in the same area. Keep safe.
Land based spots in Lake, black Ned's Bay,Lucy's breakwall, elebana from boat ramp to cliff use surface lures, goonda point if you can still get there, dora creek, cockle creek, speers point jetty, pelican near boat ramp, most public jetties, if you like a walk, wangi point. There's lots more, but they can be little bit hit or miss, just need to put in the time, can't move around like you can in kayak or boat if they're not there
Great vid as always mate and congrats on the 1000 subs! Next stop 10k! Agree with what other say, no need to apologise for the lack of videos. Family first.
I hope they do,from memory (30 years ago),it was about 9lb I think, there was another one caught around the same size,I got one off Swansea bridge that was 50 to the fork, that was before the new bridge was built,we had no torch,in the moonlight we thought it was a snapper until we got home
I have a good spot for you land based black neads bay Swansea rock nexts to the rsl really big flathead I thought I’ll give u one of my goods spots (tied needs to be running out)
Great stuff mate you've kept me up to date with Lake Macquarie during the entire lockdown lol. Can't wait hit up Lake Macquarie again now that lockdown is over. What year model is your outback?
Thanks mate, was a long hard grind. Ummm I'm happy with anywhere to be honest, I've been suggested a few. All in Lake Mac already. I know of a few in Newcastle, but havnt caught much there the last few times I have tried.
What a great video, loved all the action and the greats shots! I think every other Monday is a totally fine upload schedule as long as I get this awesome content I’m happy. Yesterday I caught a 38cm bream but he swallowed the hook all the way down, sadly I could not save him so he’ll make a great dinner! I was wondering what’s your biggest bream?
Thanks for understanding mate, my life schedule at the moment is hectic, I can't keep up with everything. That's a good size bream, bet it tastes amazing, my biggest is 42cm 😁 love to crack the 40cm again real soon, been too long
Thanks everyone for your support we did it 1000 subs 😃
Yew!
Love the footage
Thanks Mate 😀
Great water way lake macquarie
very lucky to live so close

Bet you are so excited to get out now mate. Mine is the 2020 model 😊
Caught a 37cm Brimbo in that exact spot last week. What size jig head did you have on with the Slim Swimz you caught the Flatties on in the shallows?
I believe I was using a 1/8th jig on a #1 or #2 hook.
Awesome spot for bream, I'll be going back for sure
Does the Certate 2500s balance well with the Infeet ? Thinking of getting the exact same model for my Z. Reel weighs around 200g yeah?
Certate fits it perfectly! extremely happy with it. Very hard to notice weight difference between my other reels.
Wondering what jig head size/weight you were using in the lake?
I believe I was using a 1/8th jig head with size #1 or #2 hook
sukses buat kamu sobat...
terima kasih sobat
Congrats on 1K subs. lets get you to 2k. Also what area do you want to land base fish from. i know some spots.
Thanks mate, was a long hard grind.

Any recommended lures or baits for Lake Macquarie?
Samaki vibe 70mm fork tail.
I have a video on it, works extremely well 😍
Its called 'this lure catches fish' I even go through the technique
@@ChrispyyWings thanks mate I’ll go check it out 👍

Love your videos but you never really give us your location of where on the Lake you are.
Hey Virginia, maybe this is something I can add in future videos?
Thank you Chris I only ask as it’s just a big area and all your footage is fabulous
No worries mate, lake Mac is a big area. I'll see what I can do
Hey dude

Hahahaha, very old jumper which I thought was perfect to use while fishing.
@@ChrispyyWings you’d think HWS would hook you up with a decent hoodie hey 😋
